Carly lowered her gaze as Evan was brought up. "Ah... Yeah... That one will be a bit hard.." she sighed softly. Eden frowned. "It's Evan though... I'm sure we can get him to at least hear us out... Other then that I'm not sure." she said in agreement. Carly fixed the plates of food as Eden talked and nodded. "I suppose it's good enough to at least try and explain the situation. Though... It's a bit difficult to understand.." Carly admitted with a small glance towards Donovan.

Eden and Carly carried out their food to the table. Eden quickly found herself sitting in between the two as Carly still felt more comfortable around him so long as she kept her distance. Eden said nothing and merely focused on her food. "Ah... How are you going to talk to Jackie though?" Carly suddenly asked, daring to focus her gaze on Donovan. Eden blinked, a bit surprised with Carly's suddne boldness.

Donovan had his thoughts reinforced by Carly on talking with Evan, sure he would listen but in the end it would be up to him to decide to believe it or not. He also understood the situation was confusing as he still hadn't quite wrapped his head around it himself so he could only imagine for someone who didn't know in the first place. The momentary pause for getting the food set allowed him to get something into his belly though he would definitely continue to talk to Carly. It was a bit obvious Eden was helping to keep a little distance but it was fine with him because they were getting places and at a much faster pace than what he thought it would take. Then Carly popped then question of what to do about Jackie and he realized he had almost no answer to it having had no words with her for a long time which had been a bit painful needless to say.

"I've had no contact with her since and that total silence scares me." Donovan said showing that it still was a subject that hurt him, maybe a bit more than the rest, but hurt nonetheless.

He was always having the difficulty of not knowing so much causing him more trouble than if he did, it made him look crazy which it turned out he wasn't, but it was the fact that the other him seemed to know plenty that kept him worried.

Just how much does it really know about everyone else? Too much probably. Donovan thought trying to piece some of the issue together and figuring that this other personality had to know enough about everyone else to cause as much havoc as it did.

Carly blinked at his reaction. With how he had been acting before, she had doubted that he would show how the question hurt him. She slowly lowered her gaze and began to eat. For once, Eden didn't say anything positive on the subject. She lacked knowledge about that situation and felt it was best not to intrude unless Donovan told or signaled otherwise.

Eden looked over at Donovan and gave a small frown. She thought about how limited time was now and how he would continue to harbor that other side of him. "Carly... Before I forget... You shouldn't let anything that the other side of Donovan says get to you." she told her before looking to Donovan to explain. "When I met him the other day, he tried to play off as if it was normal. He clearly knows what's happening. It seems unlike you, he remembers everything."

"So, even now, the other side is present?" Carly questioned timidly. Eden glanced over at her and gave a small nod. "I think so... But he's not in control." she told her.

"Suppose that explains a lot, that bastard..." Donovan said processing the new information with noted frustration sort of muffling the last of his words as best he could.

It was rare that the Cajun swore with any sort of insulting tone but in this case he felt right for it while thinking of his other side. He had to admit he was glad that neither Eden or Carly had pushed the subject before because he really had little to say about it. There was a moment before he just pushed it to the back of his mind so he could finish eating and talking or a mixture of the two which wasn't usual for him when he was inhaling his food. The frown Eden had on her face made him feel a bit nervous though this he could hide well behind a neutral expression but it was there knowing he only had so much time in the day before he was gone. As temporary as it were the results spoke for themselves as to just what the aggressive and violent personality could do with either words or actions.

"I just wonder where he is in there...or just why he always retreats before daytime." Donovan said obviously very perplexed by the whole thing, deep thinking not exactly being his greatest skill.

Eden glanced over at him, a bit surprised that he swore. She knew how rarely he did after all but in his current situation, she could understand why. Carly looked off to the side silently and gave a small shrug.

"Who knows..." Eden sighed before adding, "It could be a form of some personality disorder though. I'm not sure how the accident could have caused something like this but, you never know.." She gave a thoughtful look before taking another bute of her food. Carly seemed a bit confused with her friend's words. She didn't quite understand the effects of any such disorder and had little knowledge about such things.

"Whatever the reason its just another thing to fix when we find the cause." Donovan said sort of setting the subject to the side having a feeling Eden knew a bit more about the subject than either him or Carly but realizing it was probably a topic for another time.

It was incredibly frustrating for him but there was nothing to do about it for the time being. However, he was glad to get the question out on just why the other side did what it did. He finished his breakfast not long after having eaten everything rather quickly once he started again and it prompted him to put the plate away. There was a moment of him just sitting at the sink wondering if he should clean up the plates before Eden and him left. The visit with Carly had gone far better than he expected initially which bolstered his confidence that convincing the others might not be as impossible as he thought. He moved back over to his seat so he could let the girls finish their breakfast trying not to pose more questions about the complicated mess that was his mind.

"Thanks for the food Carly, I appreciate it." Donovan said earnestly as he felt more energetic having been able to quell his appetite for the time being and getting reacquainted with Carly after everything..
