So I've been brainstorming pretty much non-stop since we started this thing and I had an expansion on the whole 'secret band' thing, if we were to go that direction. What if, when the band builds up a fan base, their website broadcasts the locations of concerts in code? Something like a melody that doesn't work, or a track with coordinates spoken between other sounds, and altered to sound like incomprehensible techno music? Or maybe some of their songs do something similar? Maybe I'm going way off the rails but I figured I might as well mention some ideas. Any thoughts?
I really like this idea. The website thing would seem like a less complicated route. So, we get Michio to build a website, right? Perhaps in one of their songs, they mention a code to only access certain parts of a website to see when their upcoming gigs are up. And you know, Ongaku is filled with rock-deprived geniuses, so they'd pick it up really quick. Ahh, and as for teachers being suspicious.. Later, and I mean MUCH later in the plot, they do an investigation under the help of an antagonistic snitch? But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Thank you for laying this idea on the table! I like it! If my ideas are kind of stupid, just say so. I want to make it conflicting and dramatic, but at the same time, this roleplay centers on character development. I'm more into our characters and their personal perceptions of situations than an actual conflict itself, which is the second most important thing to me. I hope that makes sense. I'm really tired because of testing. XD
So, Michio is the manager, handling things. He needs an assistant, right? And we also need a makeup/costumes person
flamboyantly gay man. Is there anything I'm not covering?
TO DUMB IT DOWN FOR MYSELF SO I DON'T LOOK AT MY POST LATER AND BE LIKE "WTF".
To be secretive among students, the band, after acquiring a fan base BEFORE their first gig(and by fan base, I mean Tsukino, Fukatsu, Hiro, and maybe some NPCs), the makeup/costumes guy is introduced after their first gig, which will be played some place underground, idk. And after getting a BUNCH of people as their fans, teacher suspicions arise and they disguise a website as a classical music appreciation website. BUT THE FANS THAT KNOW THEIR SONGS CRACK THE CODE, so they use this to access upcoming gigs and what not.
AM I CORRECT?
