Also, if we were to be honest, what the fuck is the worth of this planet if we aren't here? It's not like the planet gives a shit, because planets don't tend to have thoughts. And I doubt there are any species but humans that have to deal with the existential worries that comes with knowing a world is fucked up. They die, like they would anyway, and new shit replaces them.
The greatest thing this planet ever made was us. If we go extinct, the planet loses its neatest invention: Intelligence.
