Name: Ryuu Naji
Clan: Naji
Title: The Naji Shogun
Gender: Male
Age: 48
Race: Human
Height: 6'5
Weight: 205 lbs
Appearance:Occupation: Leader of the Naji Clan, and self proclaimed Shogun of the self named Naji Isles.
Notable Skills: He is a master swordsman, one of his regions finest warriors in his youth and still one of the top fighters in middle age. He is incredibly strong, able to out muscle the average Oni in a contest of strength and cleave through boulders without use of ki. Unlike many other Lords he doesn't rely on his sword and is highly proficient in grappling arts of the lands, with him having defeated many enemies unarmed.
Magical Abilities: None
Ki Techniques/powers: Ki Charge: By focusing his energy and exploding it outwards behind him, he is able to strike forward at superhuman speeds, the energy temporarily boosting his strength and toughness. Using this technique he is capable of bursting through the toughest city defenses and pierce through some of the toughest armors in their world.
Ki Wave: By swinging his sword he is capable of firing a wave of ki out along the arc, letting him slice things from a distance. The less energy he has, the weaker the wave.
Deaden: He is capable of completely numbing his body to all pain, allowing him to fight through even the most painful wound. This does not stop his body from taking damage however.
Weapons: A Katana given to him by his father. It is connected to the soul of his ancestor and as such can never be broken as long a member of the Naji family still holds control of their most sacred ancestral shrine.
Other Gear:Personality: While still very traditional (it is much harder for women to advance in the clan outside of marriage) he is more liberal than his father was, for example while he still hates the idea of women being in battle he will allow it if they are determined and prove themselves capable enough. He is known for being brutal towards his enemies, with very few men spared after they wage war or attack one of his villages or allies but he is far from the worst and doesn't allow the killing or rape of enemy women like many other lords of his age do. Despite his feared reputation and his father's strict and feared legacy he himself comes off as mostly friendly to the people of his clan, and his multiple wives and several children often describe him as a family man. He truly is and as such enforces harsh penalties for abandoning/neglecting children or choosing not to be involved in their life and encourages every village under his control to have festivals the children can enjoy.
Brief history: The Naji clan is one of the oldest in Baji, tracing their people back to a group of the first to enter the Isles and according to their sacred texts they are the descendants of deities from ancient japan. Ryuu is the latest in the long line of lords of the Naji clan; inheriting command after the death his father, a stern and strict man who expanded the Naji clan in a period of unprecedented growth and prosperity. Ryuu spent most of his life as a soldier and later a general and as such is a well respected leader even though the clans growth has slowed drastically with him in charge, him preferring to focus on defense now that other powerful clans have popped up nearby. He considers himself Shogun and the successor of Bear-Sama (a man who breifly united Baji to fend off invaders, when ryuu was a child). He claims the central islands are Naji land and has several times tried to convince the others clans in the region to consider themselves a nation state under his command. He had been gaining ground on the idea but with the recent war with Nakaki his focus has drifted away from protecting weaker clans (and he often expects them to fight for him) and as such his popularity has taken a hit.
Other: He is one of more well known clan leaders as he travels often to try to convince people tp join his idea of making the central islands their own nation. And in the past 2 years to get people to join his war effort.
