You know, I hate to rain on the parade, but can we please just OC finish with the whole Martin-stone thing and how it resolved? Does anyone have the stone or not? What did Martin tell the vampires? Cuz honestly, Martin should have died 2 pages ago, and I've been trying to be nice.

That's kind of the point, that he withholds the damn stone until his life is secure.
The reason he is still alive is because he has the stone and the info hostage. The info you could partially dig from his mind with Magnus. But the stone is bound to the character. I can't just throw a puzzle at a bunch of vampires without them doing nothing but complain about how they want to eat the puzzle. If you want it resolved OC in the timeskip: do the damn trade. If you want to try things your own way, roleplay.

Lastly you could have your character just try and tamper with it and blow his face off. Can your vampire outrun a detonation velocity of approximately 8,600 m/s?

Also, I hate your comments of not killing Martin out of a desire to be 'nice' OC.
I don't want you to do anything IC for OC reasons.
While ignoring IC reasons to keep him.
From a cold and heartless standpoint Martin is of more value to you than he is dead.
His blood is a dime in a dozen, but his mind has surprised all of you several times over and that's rare. If it wasn't rare your elders would kinda suck.

Just acknowledge the fact he's found a lifeline and is holding on to it. Stop trying to dismiss it.

Nobody wants the stone. Silent is merely doing you a favor. I know for a fact Mithias and Bedivere would have killed him without a second thought. Bedivere himself can't use the stone, and Mithias doesn't cave to coercion or cowardice. Both of them would keep to their word if they said they would let him live.

Maybe Mo will barter with him. Maybe you can play a solo with Magnus. Personally, I'm moving on.

Mithias doesn't believe Martin knows anything of value and has no interest in bartering with him.

Does that answer your questions?

Oh how fucking convenient that was. You know the damn thing was meant to appeal to him mostly. But instead having your characters struggle with temptation it's so much easier to dismiss plot when it's thrown at your feet.

Well, Bedivere collects artifacts himself.
He would have already pursued this path should he believe it work for him.
It makes no sense that, such a stone randomly appear as a plot hook given Bedivere's history.
Thus to negate this falsehood...
Logically since he hasn't quite ruled the world yet, he finds no interest in the stone.
Most likely because he does not believe it to be able to work for him.

After all, he's lived far longer than Martin and has quite sometime to do research on mythical objects a collection of which he houses at Camelot's trophy room.

If Bedivere did after all use the stone, it would make him incredibly OP and the RP would be over in a matter of minutes as Bedivere kills/converts/enslaves every last human in the course of about 40 days and 40 nights, throwing a new dark age of vampires to effectively end the power struggle as there is nothing one can do to stop him as his one major weakness was rid of by the stone.

Also, given that it is from Martin, who is a human, Bedivere's elitism would scoff at using a weapon given by a human. There is no honor in using the boon given by the humans to kill the humans. You've effectively become their puppet, and Bedivere is not a puppet by far... (Well he is, for the Pale Lady.)

This.

Besides Akje, you are completely leaving out Kurai and DiZL who had been patiently waiting for this war to get on and actually interact.

I don't want to nitpick, but there's no way to open that box without blowing it up.
As long as Martin hasn't opened the box yet, you can't have the sun stone yet.

Wow, really? Because I'm not feeling rewriting a post that I put that much work into almost 24 hours after the fact... -.-

Why don't we just say we chucked the stone out the window or something and Martin is dead? That's what is actually in character. None of the vampires were ever "impressed" by him. Nobody wanted the stone. He had nothing to barter with except the potential to mess up the castle floor, which we would have endured just to kill him.

So, the stone got destroyed, Akje. Do you have any scenario where Martin wouldn't have then been killed or enthralled by Bedivere after that? Which do you prefer? Cuz that's what's happening.

Fine then. Let Mo have the stone cause the ritual was still very cool. (I did forget to mention that didn't I?)
Let's say Martin took the deal Mithias gave him when he was locked up.
They locked him up anyway to give to Magnus to play with, see if he can dig any other info out of him.
That way no post have to be edited and we can get this show on the road.
They wouldn't be in a hurry with the mind digging, let Martin stew for a while.

Well, there's gonna be some fireworks. I'm going to have fun and inadvertently stir shit up with SOLDIER. You can come with Mithias, follow him, stay in the bunker and have drinks which watching Magnus and Martin has sexy-time, whatever floats your boat.

Hmm, I'm not sure what kind of rooftop you are envisioning, but this one is literally on the top of the building, open air. There is no door, as it is not enclosed.
