Remind me. What fortifications and equipment does the vampire side have?
Aside from the oldbloods, Magnus's vampire army posse and 40-50 werewolves and 60-80 humans turned hybrid?
Is it my responsibility to control the base? Since I run Magnus?
Or can you do that @Wraithblade6?

Wraith is apparently going out into the wilds, and as such I will be temporarily taking her place as GM. She'll be back in a week or so.

Now, I would run the base, but I'm currently running the people trying to blow the shit out of said base. As such, I think I might end up being horribly biased. So it's probably best if a vampire player runs the base defences.

Ever since I was writing Martin's background for this version of compact and I saw Void's style of CS.
Inspired I let my mysterious organisation be (loosely) based on the foundation.

I knew you'd be the first to recognize it ;)
So now you know OC Martin's reason for wanting the sword Contagion so badly.
The foundation wants it's assets back.

Now I get it. Okay. But that would kill vampires too, as the formation of blood requires nutrients gathered from plants and animals which were formed due to sunlight. So the vampire would be unable to properly feed on blood, and would starve to death within the year.

I guess that depends on whether the vampire literally feeds of nutrients in the blood or if the blood is a conduit for a more mystical something.
Feeding on the creatures life force.

The thought occurred but I decided that Martin assumes the latter. Then figure it out later if it comes up.
Seems like the point is moot now. I do like what Mo did with it.

Ah, the Foundation is such a wonderful store of horrors. Although, if you're going to have some of the more powerful SCPs like the Scarlet King show up, it'll be a serious problem.

Yeah, that's why it's loosely based. There's a lot of stuff on that site that can't be in our game for obvious reasons.

Now that the secret's out in OOC, people could make foundation agents as well if they like. With some instructions from me what their agenda and knowledge would be.

I have an idea for a possible leader rolling around in my head, though I'm not sure if it'll ever be relevant.

Vampire scouts, ie peons, would have been on guard outside the bunker during the day. They should have seen the walking tanks coming etc. The vampires should have had enough warning to prepare.

That's why they hit the base with missiles before moving in with the tanks. And the tanks were moving through the trees, as only a walker vehicle is capable of doing.

I can't find the CS for the bunker anywhere so I'm kinda winging it now :/
Magnus has a Hangar full of cool military toys he's been collecting right?
So all vampire/werewolf/hybrid characters can take a neat ride and then go out the back to drive around and hit the human army from the side cavalry style. While Jules directs the vampire ground troops in sabotaging the battlefield by blowing up the ground under the tanks.

Ashlyn might be sent off to escape through secret tunnels leading into town. that's up to Mo I guess.

I think i'll give the other players a chance to position themselves in the battle, as well as give @Makarov to start ordering people around.

questions: how would modern day american tanks hold up against those tungsten sniper rounds?
As an underground bunker, I'd guess they'd have some sort of air conditioning right? Could they put that into overdrive to keep the air fresh?
With air attacks being so heavily feared by vampires and favored by PURGE, it'd make sense to outfit the base to withstand attacks of that nature right? @Shikaru, what else can this base pull out of it's sleeve?

Depends on where you his them. the plated armour is immensely tough. They use a combination of rare materials to reinforce the hull, and nothing short of an AP canon could even damage it. However, all armour has a weak point. The joints and engines and tracks, that's where you can deal the most damage. A well-placed shot could easily disable a modern tank's weaponry, or it's movement capability.

Of course, those are just the guns Kami's giving to the boring old humans. He himself has the strength to equal an Oldblood, and as such can handle a far more badass gun.

I'm thinking of effectively giving him the aforementioned Tank Canon, with a scope taped to it. Or potentially a high-powered Railgun, like they're using on some Battleships. Although that would require an insane amount of power. Far more than any battery he could easily lug around. It'd have to be a stationary weapon.
