Bumpity Bump.
Also here's my CS, sorry about the horrible mess I call a backstory.
Name
Rhea B. Archer
Hero Alias
Dier
Age
Eighteen Years Old
Race
She's just an average human with a strange power.
Powers
Mimic: Rhea has the ability to mimic the traits of animals, anything from a small insect like a fruit fly, to a huge animal like an African Elephant. An example of this would be her mimicking a wolf, and having its great sense of hearing and smell. Another example is her copying a rhino and having its tough hide. Later on in the series she will be able to mimic an animal, but more powerfully. Instead of taking an eagle's amazing vision she would take its ability to fly. If she was to mimic an animal though, she would not gain its appearance, making this a more normal looking power, that is not like shape-shifting. She uses this power almost constantly, because she feels very plain without it. Seeing her wearing her glasses, and acting normal is a rare occurrence.
Skills
Rhea is a great hand-to-hand combatant.
Rhea is skilled in wielding melee weapons.
Rhea is also a great dancer, and as a child she was a ballerina. This is why she wears a leotard as her costume for now.
Weapons:
Rhea usually carries two small daggers with her, for safety reasons.
Gear
She wears a black leotard, laced with Kevlar and trimmed with gold thread. It's lightweight and she can move with it very easily, which is why she likes it so much. Other than that she carries her daggers, and that's all.
Personality
Rhea is a girl who is very out there. She always expresses her emotions and thoughts, though this can cause her to get into trouble at times. She prefers groups of friends, and hates snobs or people that don't express themselves. She tends to stay away from strangers, unless they prove to have a similar personality or similar interests. Rhea likes to remain fit and keep a healthy mind and a good attitude, so she follows rules fairly well. She doesn't have anything against anyone, because she was treated normally during most of her childhood when her emotions and interests were developing.
History
Rhea was born to two loving parents, her father worked as an agent for the government but Rhea never really got the specifics, and her mother worked as part time dance coach. At a young age Rhea started ballet, since her mother was so addicted to it. There Rhea made most of her childhood friends, and in that same studio she showed her first signs of power.
Rhea was at the dance studio early, as usual. Her mom was setting up the mats and Rhea was helping her do so. Rhea was only twelve, and her mother and father were approaching their late thirties. Rhea's mother showed signs of scoliosis, and Rhea wished she could carry everything there herself. She thought about being as strong as one of the ox she had seen in a documentary earlier that week. Later she was doing her stretches on the bar, and she pulled it straight off the wall. Everyone was surprised, and some people were terrified. Practice was called off early, and her mother took a frightened Rhea home.
After that, Rhea knew her life would never be the same. She realized her power was connected to animals a whole year later, and she decided she would have fun with it. Throughout her teenage years she climbed like a monkey all over the city, and listened to what others said in their apartments. When she was fifteen though, she found her first crime to solve.
Rhea had just turned fifteen, and she decided to race on top of the city buildings. As she jumped one rooftop, she saw some movement going on at the bottom of the alley. She perked.over the top.of the building, using her eagle's vision to survey the scene. Down at the bottom she saw a man holding a gun up to another man's head as he searched the man's pocket and wallet. Rhea's eyes widened, and without thinking about the situation she jumped using a rhino's tough hide to brace her fall.
She landed on her knees, which looked unprofessional but worked. Her fall.wasn't silent though, and she was suddenly staring down the barrel of a gun. She opened her eyes wide, and she dove for the man's legs. He stumbled, shooting the gun at Rhea. Rhea screamed, but later she would find the bullet only went in an inch. She bit the attacker in the leg with all her strength. When he yelled out a curse Rhea knew she had a chance to get him down. Using the strength of an ox, a fifteen year old managed to pin down a twenty year old. She pinned him down with one hand, a held down the hand with the gun with the other. She told the man he was lugging to call the cops, and in twenty minutes they took the man to jail. Rhea wound up in the hospital, because of her gun wound. But nothing seemed to be severely wrong. Of course the doctors were.surprised by this discovery, but when her father came in to pick her up no one disagreed.
It was then Rhea began her training with her father, and on that day Rhea knew she was going to be a crime-fighter, no matter what. Her father was the one who spent time lacing a leotard with Kevlar. He was also the one who supplied her with her daggers. For some reason he was totally supportive of her decisions, and kept it partially hidden from her mother for her. Rhea didn't think to much about this though, instead taking it as a blessing.
