I think I'd prefer a more day to day life sort of thing, which is what I liked most about the anime. You can find action and killing monsters in a ton of stuff, but there's only one place you can find a bunch of people reacting to being stuck in a virtual reality MMORPG.

Of course, no action would make the whole thing pointless, so I'm thinking two or three parts day to day life, and one part action.

I prefer action based to day to day life, but if the majority likes day to day life. Then I'm okay with that.

We can certainly do both. There will be lots of quests and monsters around-after all, to have equipment to survive it means col no matter if you make it or not.
