Despite his family having a decent amount of money, he still works hard for a living. He is, in fact, Lydia's boss at the diner where she works. Even though he is her boss, Brandon and Lydia get along extremely well and are friends outside of work. He shares her interest in renaissance fairs and video games, and he's a huge Star Wars fan. Brandon's good with a bow, knives, a bull whip, and a gun.

Francis does have a very good handle with a Gun as he was in the army at 24 but left because he got shot in the shoulder and sent home shortly after. Francis is very religious.
