The Crushers face crunched with the force of the punch but something unexpected had happen the blood squirting out was a sort of yellowish green liquid that started to mess with the Juggernauts paint job however the poor beast was all but done. Its big claw just squirming trying to latch on anything.

Hearing the announcement Akira chuckled as his Vanguard was lifted up shortly after Ledger's. As they moved through the air he hopped on the comunications line between Vanguards.
"So since the Auzzy apparently has this covered has this just become another training mission or are we all legitimately mobilizing still?" he said still laughing to himself.
"I mean come on the guy clearly has this covered." he teased his inner hot shot coming out in full force.

Ledger had the others watched as the Blitz put on a impressive show and just as he was about to say something it came over the radio. "Two Brawlers detected... heading towards Irondome few Vanguards left.... Immediate back up needed." Just as he heard that his heart skipped a beat. Ledger had taken most of the pilots away from the base to watch some small battle and now the dome could be crushed. Without a single thought he ordered the Helicarriers to get back to base but would it take to long?

Fortunately for the Irondome, even if its own garrison was currently away or caught with its pants down there were still heroes ready for battle within. Although no orders had come, Leo had already strapped his pilot armor on and was currently on the elevator towards the Brave Magnus' cockpit. It was a simple decision. The facility had to be protected, and being the outnumbered last line of defense was just so damn heroic it was going to make them look like a million bucks when he turned two brawlers into chunks. As long as he didn't mess up and kick the bucket, but even if he did no one could say he hadn't tried his damndest. Just a matter of time till the rest got back.

The Magnus' interface was a strange mixture of old and new technologies. It had been outfitted with motion capture and voice command recognition in its latest refurbishing, but it wasn't quite as well integrated as the Blitz Juggernaut's technology and the pilot still had a pair of control sticks and pedals he grabbed hold of in case the more advanced systems failed him. Fortunately, the machine had been on standby since the first alert as its crew ran a battery of checks to ensure optimal performance for its next deployment, so not only was it ready to go, it was quite definitely working as smoothly as it ever would. Time to go.

Leo wasn't quite as hyper about engagements as Dazza, but he hadn't been struck by the blind panic the rest of the Irondome crew had seemingly succumbed to. He was not, however calm. He felt fear, like every time he prepared to fight with a world-ending monster, but it was a controlled sensation, a tension that kept him focused, razor sharp. Someone had to fight these things, so that others didn't have to live with that fear he felt right now, that horrible sensation he had first learned to live with, then turned into a weapon against them. All that was left was for the hangar doors to open and to face down whatever it was that was coming at him.

Hearing the call to return Akira turned and started running toward the carriers that were already heading back for them.
"Well isn't it my lucky day." he said as the crew started re attaching the cables and hoisting him up into the air. He couldnt help but chastise himself for not thinking to stay behind when all of the alarms blarred he just reacted instead of thinking. Man what in the world did I go and do now he thought to himself hoping he and the others weren't too late.

Irondome

"All defensive weaponry is online,Sir." A trooper yells at General Stein, commander of the Irondome. "Give them some Hell then!" He yelled back looking into the giant monitor with the two beast coming near in horror. A hail of bullets and missiles came from turrets surrounding the bay into the water but had little effect. As they came within a mile the few Vanguards left started to deploy. One of them the Jaguar Prime, from Costa Rica, came out first to meet the beasts. Jaguar Prime was an old Vanguard that was 50m tall, pitch black except for its head painted yellow, and used its giant club as its main weapon. It was piloted by a young man named Delgado who had experience but was still scared to fight with his old clunker.

When the hangar doors opened, Leo was treated to the impressive sight of the structure's defensive weaponry on full blast, a barrage of firepower greater than any one Vanguard could possibly muster beyond a few unique and usually highly unstable or energy-consuming weapons. Automatic filters reduced the impact from the deafeaning noise and blinding flashes of detonations as the weapons were unloaded at...nothing he could see. And apparently nothing they could see either, given the complete lack of effect the barrage had had and the zero updates on either his HUD or from the command room. It was rather staggering in its incompetence.

Taking a moment to recover, he had to make a conscious effort not to bring his hand to his temple as the Brave Magnus stepped outside into the surf, as the machine would've followed his motions to a tee. He approached the already deployed vanguard, a unit so outdated it carried handheld melee weaponry and piloted by someone who, as far as he had heard, didn't trust his machine. Well, at least they were flashy enough to stand out. Since they were clearly still fighting blind from the total lack of position updates, he flashed Delgado a thumbs up as he took position next to him, all weapons ready to cover him. He sure hoped this guy could actually cover him.

The command room was a frantic mess with comm units calling other bases about the attack and other calling in support. Everyone has forgotten to tell the Vanguards what to do except the general who got up from his comfy leather chair and walked over to the very front of the command room where the Vanguard comm link awaited. He pressed the small red button to speak into the channel.

"Vanguards defend the base at all cost! Our units are coming back from Deleware and will arrive in 30 minutes. This is all up to you... This can be your big day, your name on all the newspapers,TV,talk shows,anything...Just defend this base and you will preserve humanity for the future! Your enemies are coming from both sides. Wani,we believe is on the right and Cold Steel on the left. I want Magnus in Wani and Jaguar take the other! If you can get them away from the base we are loading anti-Kaiju ballistic missiles onto our main turrets. But they must be away from HQ. Good luck soldiers!" He said to the pilots down below.

Meanwhile Delegado nervously awaits as the beast tear up the water in front of them but notices his comrade give him a thumbs up. He looks towards the other pilot and proceeds to do the samething but soon looked back at the darkened shapes in the water now poking their heads out the water. Wani was the first jumping into the air and then diving back down changing directions from Magnus to Prime almost as if it knew how weak it was.

"Shit!!! I got two coming straight at me!!" Delegado said getting into defensive postion just as Wani slammed into him.

Fortunately for Delgado, the Brave Magnus had not moved away from its position exactly at Jaguar Prime's back, because Leo knew that sticking together and covering eachother's backs to avoid cheap shots or getting double teamed was a good idea in basically any group melee ever. Taking advantage of Wani's dedication to slamming against an equally sizeable opponent that had braced for impact, he maneuvered the negligible distance necessary to attack the offending kaiju. "Hold the bastard still!" he shouted at his companion as the Magnus' forearms opened up to reveal a pair of scaled up, four barrel miniguns.

Miniguns which now had a perfectly clear shot at the kaiju's exposed flank at an extremely close range. "Eat this! BULLET BANQUET!" Leo shouted, more for dramatic effect than anything else as he had already triggered the weapons manually. It took the miniguns less than a second before they began to produce a veritable hail of bullets, roaring as they emptied their ammunition tanks at a firing rate of 10,000 rounds per minute, or 2000 rounds in just 12 seconds of firing. Even heavily armored targets would be hard pressed to withstand this kind of assault at such close ranges, and the speediest of kaiju would not escape the storm unscathed.

As he kept his fingers on the trigger, Leo still kept an eye out for the second kaiju, readying other weapons.

Akira grinned as his Vanguard came into view of the others. He watched the others go through the opening motions of battle and tried to calm himself and analyze the two Kaiju.
"You two look like you could use some back up." he said as his vanguard was dropped and he extended his wrist mounted blade. He then carefully made his way forward to help his comerades the watter leaving bright shimmers on the white of his vanguard.
