It's worth pointing out that a high pain tolerance doesn't reduce the damage done to a person. If a child is punched in the stomach the lack of protective muscle and flesh around their abdomen would probably result in severely broken ribs possibly resulting in fatal organ damage.

If they're damaged in a fashion that is non-physically impeding such as cuts to fleshy regions and the like it may allow them to continue with no effect, but otherwise a high pain tolerance is only useful with at least some decent defense.

Though I don't think a spellcaster with a weak physical body is an inherently bad idea, as my character Solomon is similar (though incredibly old, rather than young.)

Having a demon possess a child is fairly cliche, but it does negate the main limitations of an ordinary child's lack of intelligence and realistic combat experience.

Also Impaqt, try not to be a dick, it's particularly nonconstructive in an advice thread.

@Melonhead Glad we're on the same page. But yeah it really just allows her to keep fighting if punched the upperarm(if it doesnt break), hip, etc. Also cuts aswell if the bleeding isnt too much. Of course she could burn the.wound without too much trouble because that pain tolerance helps. Ofcourse, she wouldnt know to burn said wound unless Cahrtikan told her.

I don't think a 6 year old would have a high pain tolerance, even if she was beaten everyday of her life. She wouldn't have been used as a slave for much longer than a few years simply because she wouldn't be old enough to understand and carry out any sort of orders. That means, at best, she has experience with "torture" for maybe 2 years? That hardly makes her tolerable of combat injuries from trained opponents.

The demon is already hiding her wounds from her opponents (which is an interesting power I've never seen before, and would be pretty troll-y in a fight) why not have it hide the pain from her as well? Might as well utilize it.

You are right, @Melonhead. It was uncalled for. My apologies @Bartimaeus. I've been in a vicious mood today that's been really unbecoming of me. Anyways, Constructive Criticism:

Name- Shadda Brines.
Role- Magic dmg.
Trait- Shadda has no trait but Cahrtikan has intelligence.
Age- 6 1/2.

Passives- Not corrupted: Cahrtikan clouds Shadda's wounds from the opponent.

Powers-
High energy manipulation: Can form energy/mana/chi into various forms.
Low earth manipulation: basic earth control.
What is basic earth control. Same for the rest. And the Energy/mana/chi can basically form in any way you wish? Limits?
Low water manipulation: basic water control
Low fire manipulation: basic fire control.
Acid combustion: The object nearest the enemy explodes into acid. The bigger the object the more acid. If the object is smaller than Shadda, it becomes an acid orb and traces the opponent until contact with them, then explodes upon contact. Also explodes on anything it touches.
Pretty sure you can't just make an enemy explode in acid. What's the word? Powergaming?
Harmless intentions: Creates a 4x4 wall of butterflies within a 20 ft area of Shadda. These butterflies latch on to anything they touch and carry it left for 1 turn. They cannot die and have the pull strength of an elephant.
I don't know about not being able to die. 4x4? Does that mean they are 4 giant butterflies? Thousands of small ones? Also, most powered characters could probably pull an elephant around for fun, from what I've seen.
Puppies!!: Shadda summons two undead dobermans to attack her opponent. However, she gets scared if they face her, despite them being completely loyal.
All the elements and now Undead dogs. Very wild mix up here. Again, I feel like you are trying to add everything you can to the character and it's going to end up a very boring fight.

Cahrtikan- Demon's powers- Low to Medium shadow manipulation: Cahrtikan can use Low to medium shadow manipulation if Shadda is in high emotional distress.
I repeat what I said above. Also, what's low and what's medium?
Reverse Psycology- Cahrtikan can stop any mental attsck aimed at Shadda and reverse it onto the caster.
I'll leave this one alone. This will probably not be needed though.

Items. TeddyBear Backpack- Contains a yoyo and can protect from one physical attack from behind.
Unless this backpack is at least decently armored and whatnot, it isn't going to protect anyone from anything. Also, why the Yoyo if it brings nothing to the character? Is it a magic Yoyo? If so, what can it do?

Other- Shadda has no training, yet she has a very high mana pool, being able to cast lots of magic in succession.
Shadda is reluctant to fight anyone, but can be urged by Cahrtikan.
Again, I maintain my stance that you can't really force a child to do anything they don't want to do. Specially at that age. And don't say he'll do something bad to her if she doesn't, cause a child that age won't care. They'll just cry/throw a tantrum or many other child like things kids do when faced with things they don't want to do.
Shadda can take almost no physical attacks, but has a high pain tolerance after being an arena slave.
I'm not going to say anything about this either, cause I think you worded it weird.

Impaqt's comments mostly fall in line with my own (although I struggle with realistic height and weights so wouldn't have noticed without research) besides the fact that I'm pretty sure she's not intending the acid exploding to effect any people either, it's just not written into the sheet that way.

As for the quoted comment, I find it very interesting if I did have a character behaving like that, although I admit I have no idea how it would fit at all into an arena battle even if it would be interesting to play as for once.

At the end of the day, Barti can make whatever sheet she wants. Perhaps she will find a fight for it, though it is good that people are trying to help her get it set up.

Alright here some clarifications in order:

Sorry, didnt know that ill fix it.
Mm not neccesarily trolly if they KNOW they hit you there. Or they can see thru magic.
Basic earth control: smal walls and projectiles, stuff like that. energy/mana/chi in anyway she can think of. limit- 60ft.
As IN said, cant explode people into acid, just objects that were here before the fight started.
Alot of small butterflies making a 4ftx4ft wall.
Demon dogs then. it fits.
Low- basic shadow mani. medium-increasing size caster can make it and allows for a farther range-80ft.
I know, just incase.
The backpack stores the shadow that Cahrtikan uses for his magic.and shes a kid.she needs a toy, also, she can coat it in fire or cover it in rocks and swing it.
She trusts Cahrtikan, its like a kid being urged by a big sibling that they trust.
She has high pain tolerance from thing likes cuts and hits to well dupported areas (hip,etc.). But she cannot take hits well.
