I had an idea for a Nation role play. . . Sort of like Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi.
This idea has a villain that tears apart time, thus, the players are building an army to fight him or her.
An extrapolation for this idea for the role play is that players begin collecting officers from throughout history in order to fight this mysterious villain. Characters might possibly display attributes they probably didn't have in real life. For instance, Zhuge Liang using magic to fight in Dynasty Warriors isn't even written in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He used magic to change the wind and cast a spell that was ruined in an attempt to extend his life by many years, but he never threw lightning bolts or attacked enemies with gusts of wind with his fan.
Some examples of people fighting for an army. . .
Zorro
Miyamoto Musashi
Lancelot
Geronimo
Guan Yu
Alexander the Great
