Tsukiko Umene, Honeybadger
The actress seemed particularly pleased with Tsukiko's broken arm, going so far as giving her even more money than originally promised. She didn't even stuff it in Tsukiko's cleavage this time, though she did basically throw the money at her and cause it to go everywhere. As Miyaka began dealing with the fleeing Jaakuna, Tsukiko snapped her arm back into place and withdrew some ninja wire. Being unable to move her arm beneath the elbow, having broken it effectively, she used a large quantity of wire to make a sling from her neck to hold the arm close to the proper position and tucked in against her torso. She seemed mostly over the pain, though it was certainly still there. Her expression had returned to normal, but one could feel her rage and pain just by looking into her eyes.
After finishing her sling she withdrew more wire, preparing to tie Jaakuna down as per Miyaka's command before Daiki decided to return with a clone. Though she had sensed him she didn't really
notice him until she heard him coming up the stairs. She was already facing the door when he and his clone entered. She assumed he was mad but she didn't particularly care until he opened his mouth and began talking.
"You're going to kick my ass?" Tsukiko sputtered, as if she was barely containing laughter. After a brief chuckle a deadly serious expression took hold of her. One could see, even feel, the animalistic rage.
"A runt puppy like you should've been drowned in a river long ago if you honestly think you can match me..." One of the Daiki's charged forward, but Tsukiko wasn't foolish.
She knew it was the clone that came first. She could sense the difference in chakra, as well as it being a better strategy to have the clone fight first. It jumped up and attempted a kick at her neck, a rather basic way to dispatch someone quickly.
"Let me learn you something real quick..." The older woman moved forward, past the incoming kick to move under the clone in a blur of motion. Using only her right arm, she pulled the ninja wire out until it was loose and free in the air, before jumping up behind the clone. The ninja wire wrapped around it, tightening quickly before it could rotate to face her. Gripping the wires tightly, Tsukiko landed back on the ground and hefted the wire over her shoulder like she was swinging a sledgehammer. The captured clone was dragged through the air in an arcing motion, going headfirst into the ground with a powerful thud, killing it almost instantly.
"Shinobi are tools, weapons. There is no pride in what they do, no honor in the lifestyle. Shinobi are simply trained animals, doing the bidding of the higher powers. Your beliefs just deny reality, but I embrace it. My life as an animal suits me. But the biggest difference between us... Daiki..." Tsukiko's gaze moved up to match his Sharingan, completely unafraid of any possible genjutsu.
"I specialize in killing animals like us." Rather than withdraw more wire, Tsukiko released her grip on the wire she already used and instead drew her ninjato, The Equalizer.
"And now I'm going to kill me a Naito dog!"Tsukiko crouched low, holding the sword close and reducing her frame briefly as she coiled up. Like a spring she shot forward, barely visible with her incredible agility. Rather than being aimed directly at Daiki she shot slightly to his right, allowing her to pass him without collision. With a quick swipe of her ninjato using her reverse-grip style, she attempted to slice clean through Daiki's midsection. There were no attempts made to "pull the attack" in order to spare him or show mercy. The deranged woman was aiming to kill the boy for daring to attack her, and the look in her eyes made it clear that she wasn't up for debate on the idea.
"You get to die with regret..." Tsukiko mumbled, just loud enough for Daiki to hear her behind him, immediately before making a rapid spin and attempting to slash him across his back to sever his spine. The blitzing speed of the jonin would be evident by now, and even in her weakened state she was fully prepared to bring the red-haired boy down.
Shin Maru, Topaz
His surprise attack worked, trapping the teleporting pirate before she could dispatch Rin.
There we go, he thought to himself with a smirk, before approaching the trapped woman. Rin gave Shin an underhanded thanks and Sentou instructed him to interrogate the capture woman. Her choice in words was somewhat hurtful, prompting an upset expression from the teen.
"Grope her? Rape her?" Shin repeated, putting a hand on his chest to further emphasize his offense.
"That's despicable. I'd never do something like that. Besides, she's not that hot." With his name cleared, Shin turned to face the woman trapped in orange crystal.
Shin put his hand on the crystal, manipulating its shape in order to free the woman's face to allow her to speak.
"Alright lady," he greeted, putting his fist against the crystal right next to her head, to appear more intimidating.
"Spill the beans. I need to know who froze this island and how to unfreeze it. If we can't get these people out of the ice then you won't be getting out of this crystal." His interrogation and threat was simple, he didn't even use a condescending tone or aggressive voice. Much like his father he was calm and collected for the information gathering.
"There's no way you pirates will beat us ninjas, so don't worry about that. Just tell me what I need to know."
