Dotorame Osumari, “Doto-doto”
Dotorame blandly looked at Rin for a moment, processing what she told him, whilst awkwardly scratching the back of his head. “Rin-chan.. don't yell at me.. it's not my fault, Ayame-sensei told me just 15 minute ago I have to do this mission...” He stated, matter of factly. Dotorame looked around towards Haruka, his hands falling low as he bent forwards, obviously bored by Haruka's reply. “Haruka-sama... you didn't answer my question... how are Sentou-sama and Jaakuna-sama...” His eyes fell closed as he dropped his head in dissapointment towards his newfound superior. As quick as he had gotten bored, he got revitalized again. “Okay! Enough standing around, let's go!” He quickly stood straight again, bouncing Aoi around some more, before clumsily attaching his chokuto to his back with the clasps on his left shoulder and his right lower side, almost smacking Aoi in the face with the chokuto. He pointed at the horizon again with his hand, and then started running for the horizon, too. “Let's earn some money!!!” he yelled, before adding under his breath.. “... I'm gonna buy ramen noodle soup, and eat at the Mighty Naruto every day.. ehehehe.. I'll pay them so much money they'll make me a special visitor and give me sooo many discounts, and then Yamato has to acknowledge me and train me.. maybe I can get Naomi to teach me her Byakugan technique, it's so silly only the Hyuga can do that..”
Oh yes. Dotorame was oblivious. To everything.
And so they travelled, lead by Dotorame who had a tiny, lightweight Aoi on his back.
Ofcourse Aoi was the leader, and so Dotorame was only leading the journey in her name. Never the less they arrived within an hour or three, in a desolate village which seemed more dead than alive. By now it'd started raining too, kickstarting Dotomare's excitement a bit. “Aoi-sama, Daiki-sama, Haruka-sama, Rin-chan.. it's raining! I love rain! Did you know I come from Amegakure?!” he said while stumbling forward, barely keeping himself up with the added weight of Aoi.
First things first, however. They'd have to go to the house of this mistress, and also they'd probably prefer to stay in an inn whilst doing investigations. As if sent by the Sage of the Six Paths himself, Dotomare spotted an inn and restaurant in one, which gave him the energy he needed. He bounced back up straight, once more bouncing Aoi around quite a bit. He didn't even ask any questions and simply took off, sliding the last part to the door through the mud, and sliding open the sliding door. “Oi, tavern-man, give me a good room, and some rameeeen!” he yelled, before realizing that there was nobody there. Actually.. he can't remember seeing any people in this village so far. How strange?
Walking up to the counter slowly, scratching the back of his head again, he noticed a sign. “Visitors from Konoha, there is a room prepared for each of you. Please leave 1 coin in the basket here, which will allow us to afford cleaning your rooms daily... ehh? Aoi-sama, what does this mean?” he slowly said, before tossing a coin of his into the small wicker basket on the counter. He didn't wait for an answer, or for her to get off his back even, before he ran up the stairs and slid open a door. The bedroom was small, but sufficient. If Aoi hadn't gotten off his back yet, now was the chance, because as soon as he'd admired the room for a bit he ran in, threw his backpack to the side, unclasped his chokuto and laid it down next to the table before sitting down on his knees. “WAAAAH! THEY.. THEY MADE US SOUP! ARIGATO GOZAIMAAAS!” he yelled throughout the entire building before gulping down on the soup, eating and drinking as quick as he could. It was still steaming hot, but Dotomare didn't seem to care - it was better than freezing cold soup. The weirdness of the entire situation didn't seem to stress him out much.
Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”
Yamato looked at Sentou with bored eyes, her entire speech not impressing him much. Sentou was annoying, and she stripped often. It was just lucky she hadn't done that in his mothers' restaurant. “I don't need your tip.” he said as he wrote down everything she asked for. Well, he wasn't lying, Yamato was well-off although often he didn't look the part, since nobody in his family exactly paraded their wealth. Besides, he doubted Sentou could afford all of the stuff she ordered. It wasn't exactly a cheap restaurant, although it wasn't expensive either. That said, his mom would probably let Sentou pay later. She didn't care much about the money, and did this all more as a hobby. Yamato's dad paid for all of it, to keep his mom off his back. They might not be a perfect family but they were happy with eachother, meaning everyone worked hard to not talk to the others for more than 10 minutes, except for Rei. Rei was the glue that held the family together.
When Sentou asked for his company, too, he once again didn't react all that impressed. She was probably here, and not at some other restaurant, simply because she knew she could try to annoy Yamato here. And as such.. he tried his best to simply ignore her stupid talks. From his left, he could hear two giggles, one coming from Rei and the other coming from Yamato's mother who were laughing at Yamato being forced to sit with Sentou. It seemed like Rei had lightened up again, which at the very least made Yamato somewhat happier. With a firm tap he ended the order and walked to the back of the restaurant where he took some time to collect the entire meal. It was about ten minutes before he had prepared what wasn't ready, and had taken what had already been made. And for a 16 year old kid, it was clear that Yamato knew how to cook quite well, no doubt because of all the time he spent alone with his sister at home.
He walked towards Sentou's table with at least 6 plates full of food, as well as a boiling hot cup of green tea on a small wooden board. It was clear that Yamato had been a waiter and cook for some time here, from his childhood years, and had amassed a variety of techniques to carry lots of plates and boards at once. He placed them down in front of Sentou carefully, and then turned around to grab a chair. He didn't like the antique, luxury chairs and instead grabbed a simple one made from wood. He placed it with it's back facing towards the table, then sat down on it so he could lean on the backrest. He sat there for some time, staring at Sentou, trying to remain calm even though she was obviously here to aggravate him.
That's when Shin Maru walked in, with a quick but dumb flirty line towards Sentou, who was atleast 2 years younger. Well, as long as he wasn't saying these things to Rei, it was all okay with Yamato. He couldn't help but shrug at the flirty line, though, since it was a terrible one too. Not that Yamato knew much about all that. Ever since he was born he had already known who he was to marry, since a bride had been picked by Yamato's dad already, some Sunagakure shinobi girl he'd never met. This had lead to Yamato never having an interest in love that much, since he wouldn't have to work for his 'love' anyway. The same had gone for Rei, however it seemed like Rei's would-be husband had passed away in the meantime, untimely ending the contract between them. No new contract had been made so for now, it seemed like Rei would get off scot free.
When Shin asked for Yamato's dad, he was quite surprised, but didn't show as much. “Why?” was all Yamato said in return, since the cultist seemed more of a problem related to the Minamoru's, his own family. Was Shin interested in 'helping them' or otherwise getting in the way? Or was there something more going on..? No matter.. he'd personally be with Shin at this meeting. He'd demand it from his father. “I can arrange it. Meet me sometimes next week. Be sure to leave your weapons at home, too.” With that said, he looked back at Sentou with an annoyed expression, waiting for her to say more stupid shit or possibly even strip.
Ayame Choko, “the Sewstress”
Ayame was at her house again, a place of relaxation and sleep most of the times, but right now, a place to send a quick text message before continueing on her way. She walked over to her bed, and grabbed her purse which hung from a cornerpost of the bed, digging through it for her phone. Finding it quick, as she was organised and didn't need to look for her phone for hours on end, she quickly typed a message to Fujitora. “Let's get lunch. Meet me at the Mighty Naruto in 10 minutes.” She took a minute to think before hitting send, and ultimately added another sentence. “No drugs.” She grinned as she clicked send, although it wasn't that funny she had to even say it.
Quickly dropping her phone back in the purse again she headed out, jumping off after she walked onto her porch. She was headed for the Mighty Naruto, which wasn't far from her home. Along the way, she spotted several academy students that waved at her frantically. She was well known in these parts, since she was more or less a known figure in the entire area of Konoha. Being a foreigner from Amegakure didn't help her with that very much. She waved back and smiled before heading to another tree. Ultimately she ended up at the Mighty Naruto, a fancy restaurant for the most of it, except during lunch hours, when it turned into more of a dining house.
Spotting Yamato, and Fujitora still not being here since she was early, she walked over quickly to make a quick note to them. She bowed before Shin, Sentou and then Yamato. “Good afternoon. I hope you are all enjoying your day.” she spoke happily, causing Yamato to look at her with an annoyed look. She was much too happy for him. She took in the 'Young Masters' gaze and adjusted accordingly. Seemed like he wanted to get straight to bussiness. “Yamato-kun, please collect the young Giichi Uzumaki. There's a mission waiting for you two at the entrance to the village. There's no rush, you've no doubt led a chunin before.” She nodded at him, and he nodded back before Yamato adjusted his gaze once again to Sentou. Never the less, he still spoke back to Ayame, though not directly at her. “Yes, miss Choko. I'll do it, as long as it gets me away from miss Eat-all here and mister Flirt over there.” He referred to the obvious, being that Sentou was being an uncharming girl by eating so much, and Shin, whose obvious terrible pickup lines were terrible. It wasn't a terribly serious remark, something resembling 'humor' from Yamato's side, although it was still coated in that typical Yamato response - aggressive and rude undertones made it impossible for him to get a joke across. For that reason the others would be left wondering if he was serious, something he himself couldn't quite tell either.
Ayame smiled at Yamato's remark and looked at Shin and Sentou. “Shin-kun, Sentou-chan, please find Paneru. I met him this morning in the hospital, and I'm sure he's still there.” This remark was met by a crunching sound from Yamato, who had cracked his knuckles and clenched his teeth upon hearing the name 'Paneru.' Ayame looked at the Young Master with a happy smile, seeming to not give a damn about the boys' demeanor. “Something wrong, Yamato?” He replied harshly, seemingly not caring that it was indeed the Hokages' assistant he was talking to. “Apart from that girls' cowardice in battle?”
Ayame didn't give him a reply and looked back at Shin and Sentou. She didn't approve of Yamato's demeanor, but she couldn't help but understand him. Reports indicated that Paneru had fled the fight, even if it was an illegal non-approven fight with a dangerous cult, leaving his comrades behind. It wasn't good, but Ayame had to ask herself if Paneru was really fit for battle, being a medic and all. She wasn't sure about that, but Yamato's aggressive personality and rude demeanor didn't help the entire situation. “Shin, Sentou, collect Paneru and take her to the village entrance. We have an emergency attack that happened on a caravan of a trader. We need you three to move out, and salvage what you can. It seems there were three trucks in the caravan, transporting televisions, and a quick messenger told us that there were indeed survivors. Paneru needs to go there and do his best to heal them, and you two need to survey the area, protect Paneru and collect details about the attack.”
She turned around to walk towards a table to be served but turned around last minute. “Sentou... no, Shin. Shin, you two are chunin now, as is Paneru. Because of that, I expect a written report on your findings. It'll help us analyze the situation and prepare any other traders.” She looked at Sentou and realized that Sentou probably could never write a report like that. And Shin probably could. She smiled at the three of the young chunin, squinting her eyes in happiness, it would seem. Then she sat down and waited for Fujitora, as well as Yamato's mom to come take her order.
Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”
Yamato looked at Sentou and Shin, and would wait for them to leave the establishment before he'd leave as well, taking the time to reply to anything the two chunin would say to or ask of him. As soon as they left, Yamato would collect Sentou's plates and boards, place it carefully on the counter and then look at his sister. “Rei, time to go.” She looked up from the table questioning Yamato. Ayame hadn't said anything about her coming.. so why was he taking her with him? Unbeknownst to her, Yamato was trying to get her motivated for shinobi work again. Slowly she got up and followed Yamato. Together they headed for Giichi's house, hoping the young Uzumaki boy was home in the estate that they had built. Ever since Naruto, the family had survived quite well apparently. They were also a family of shinobi that didn't, traditionally atleast, have a kekkei genkai. This meant Yamato respected them, as did his entire families. The two families were likely allies, although none of that had been made official or even been acknowledged by either side of the two families.
Yamato jumped over the estates' walls, followed by Rei. It's not hard to enter peoples homes when you are a shinobi. They would approach the sliding doors to the main building, and slide them open. It was quite a traditional place, atleast the main building was. After taking a good look around, Yamato asked a man that was walking around where Giichi was. “Me and my sister are taking him on a mission today. Orders of Ayame Choko.” What he meant with that was 'tell me where this fucking kid is so we can do the mission.' but Yamato was smart enough to phrase it differently. After being pointed in a general direction, they'd wander around there until they found Giichi, or he found them.
