As Meeka was heading over to the dorms, she was trying to get a better view on the doors, and as she was looking for them, she accidentally ran into a boy who was a lot taller than her. "I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." Meeka said quickly and tried continue walking, but the boy grabbed her wrist and turned Meeka around.
Boy A: "Look what we have here, guys, another one came to join us..."
Boy B: "Wanna have some fun, babe? There's still time before we get our summons, so why are you so hasty?"
Meeka really didn't have time for fun, nor did she really like the way this guy was holding her. His grip was too tight, and the other was looking at her with a strange look in his eyes. *Do they really just want to hang out and have fun? Because this is really not a good way to go about making friends.* Meeka had no idea what the boys were insinuating, she just wanted him to let go. "Please, let me go. I need to get to my dorm now." She said meekly hoping the boys would really let her go. Meeka wasn't the fighting type of person, she really didn't like fighting at all, she loved watching fights, especially the spectacular ones in the arena when her dad still fought there. Sadly, the way she asked them to let her go only seemed to make things worse. She wanted out, she just wanted to get away from these boys, something just didn't feel right about them, but how could she escape? That answer came in the form of a purple haired girl.
Eris: "Meeka Gray, are you hurt by any means? Or any of you?"
Meeka looked around her, she hadn't even noticed the other girls with her that were being harassed as well.
Boy A: "You're what? Some kind of hero?"
Boy B: "Do you think a puny girl like you can best us? Ill show you a lesson..."
Meeka watched in amazement as Eris skillfully got rid of the boys, and with a sword! It almost reminded her of her dad, but he would kind of fuse with his summon to fight rather than use an iron forged weapon. That's right! Meeka had completely forgot one aspect of having a summon. Would it be an elemental? If so, than she could fuse with at well. Her dad was the first to create that skill, and was one of the few people that could actually pull it off, perhaps one day he could teach her how to do that as well. All of this was going through her mind when Eris extended her hand to help Meeka up, who had fallen to the ground.
"Come, I'll guide you to the dormitories."
Meeka accepted the hand and soon enough, the two were off to the dorms, and many of the girls around her began to idolize Eris and follow her too. Meeka took a good long look at Eris, she seemed nice enough, she also noticed her mom's brand plastered all over her clothing. If it was one thing she hated about her mom's designs, it was that her brand logo was on every single piece of article. It drove Meeka crazy. That was why Meeka liked her dress so much, she had talked to her mom and told her not to put the logo on the dress. Sure enough, just as she had told her mom, someone recognized the style of clothing. Now she had something to tell her mom.
As Meeka continued staring at Eris, she also felt something different about Eris' attitude. She looked like a shining knight at the moment, but Meeka couldn't help but feel that there was a darker presence lurking under that shining armor. Soon enough, the group had made it to the dorms and Meeka and Eris were the first to be greeted by a female summoner. "Hello there!." The summoner said happily as she looked at the floating screen next to her. "Data, scan these two girls into the system." The summon immediate obeyed and it turned its 32'' of HD screen towards them and stared for about 10 seconds. "Scan complete, searching databases." Meeka was surprised what had pooped up on the screen, it had a picture of her and 3 other girls on the screen, their photos and information. "Scan complete. Meeka Gray." The summoner looked at her list and smiled, "Here are your keys, you will be rooming in room Room 258 on floor 2." Meeka accepted her key and she walked up to the specified dorm.
When Meeka opened the door, she was amazed at how the room looked, it was pristine. There were five beds, (Which is strange) two on either side of the wall and another in the middle of the room. A note rested on the bed, "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to lack of space in the school, this room was randomly selected to accommodate 1 more girl in the dorm. As for closet space issues we hope you can sort things out. We hope you understand." "Strange... but sounds like fun!" Meeka also noticed that there was a dresser for each girl and there own closet. There was a large kitchen space, smaller than Meeka would have liked, and a decent sized bathroom across from the kitchen. There was also a single long desk between the beds on the far wall with 4 chairs. It seemed that all of them would be studying on the same table.
Meeka entered the room and began to un-pack what little of the belongings she had. Her parents had both attended this school and they said they would mail the rest of her belongings after she got to her room. Meeka couldn't imagine trying to carry her stuff with her all the way here. She also knew, (from her dad) that it didn't matter how soon she got to the summoning building, she had known from the start that all summoners have a specific summon that was connected to them since the day they were born. It wasn't a proven study as the twin gods of the elements wouldn't explain further, but among the researchers of summoning, that was the traditionally held belief. She also knew that as soon as she entered that special room, there would be a form that would guide her through the process. Meeka was trying to remember what else her dad had told her about her first day. Also, as soon as you enter that cavern, the summoner will begin to feel a strong sensation pulling him/her to an area in the cavern. It seems that no one can resist the urge, nor the pull, and that was how everyone was guided to that one summon that was supposedly born with them. Meeka sighed happily as she began to think about what summon she would receive.
