Enna blinked slowly and focused her gaze on her friend, her heads reaching up to run through the ruff near the ruff of his neck. Continuing to pet, she shifted until she was sitting and ram her fingers through once more before reluctantly pulling away, her eyes on his homework.

"Fine Drian, bit sleepy hit that's probably the fact that a snowstorm is heading our way. Let's finish this and I'll get dinner, don't wanna fall asleep anywhere but here or my room to be honest." She shrugs and pulls the stack closer, her ringt hand absently picking up her pen and twirling it between her fingers, a yawn cracking her jaw as her eyes scan the sheets.

She'd done most -all- the work but she wanted to make sure everything was fine, thankfully their teachers understood and accepted the situation Adrian was in and allowed her to do his work, the only rule they firmly stated was he gave the answer and she wrote it down exactly as he dictated it, no word swapping. Humming softly as she nears the page they'd left off on she scans the scientific dribble and frowns. "I hate Biology, they make it harder to understand. Alright let's get started then" She buffs and begins to read the first question, her left hand reaching out to pet Adrian's fur. @SomeoneSomewere

His head lowered, a low sound akin to a purr sounding in his throat. His eyes closed partially, enjoying the feel of her hand running through his fur. When she stopped, he grumbled slightly, listening to her response. A small smile formed on his face at her nickname for him. He brushed his head against her arm when she said she was tired and he spoke into her head, [I]well, hopefully we can get through this quickly. Of chourse its science stuff so who knows how well this will go."

He looked over at the work as she began to flip through it, ears twitching slightly. He was extremely greatful for the assistance that En was providing in getting his homework done, there was no way he could possibly do it on his own. He let out a small puff of air once she reached the page they were on. He lowered his head, reading the question as she did. A low grumble escaped him, he already just wanted to stop and lounge around instead, but he knew he must get through this.

At the feel as her stroking his neck again, he settled in a bit, running his tongue over his nose, holding back his own yawn. After looking over the question another time, he told her his answer. Biology wasn't his strong point, partially because it couldn't just be in plain speech, but in confusing scientific terms. He absentmindedly extended his claws, gently digging them into the ground beneath his paws, kneading the ground. @Arista

Emma jotted down the answer and began the next, this one drawing her attention and her hand absently filled in the answer. Her fingers absently carding through Adrian's fur, her eyes squinting slightly as a familiar feeling began to crawl up her spine, her body stilling and her pen dropping from her fingers as a familiar cold sensation spread through her body.

"No...not...it wasn't supposed to start until tomorrow morning. I'd already asked to be absent..." She managed to choke out as a burst of power filled the air, her eyes rolling slightly as the faint smell of two familiar scents filled the air. The sound of the door opening had her head rolling slightly to one side, her body feeling heavy and tired.

Warm hands settling on her shoulder had her instinctively falling back, the weight shifting to easily lift her up.

"Hey Ice Queen, let's get you out of here" one of the twins states as the other picks up the discarded stack of homework and gestures Adrian to follow. @SomeoneSomewere

Alarm took over his features as he felt her suddenly still, the pen dropping to the ground. His head spun to face, worry evident on his face. His nuzzled her face, His ears pinning back at the feel of power blasting out around him. He stood up, trying to figure out what was wrong. He assumed it was because of the snowstorm, it was the only thing that made sense.

He looked at the door, recognizing the scents once they hit his nose. He snorted once they appeared, and he ran his head against her shoulder, trying to provide her support. He took a small step back as the twins approached, one of them easily lifting her up from the ground.

He sent a message to both of them, frowning, what's going on? Is she ok?. It didn't take much to get him to follow, trailing after them all. His ears twitched, walking beside the twin holding Enna, bringing his nose up occasionally to brush against her arm. He was worried about her, and didn't have a clue what was wrong. @Arista

Enna stirred slightly, her fingers twitching as she tried to reach for Adrian, the twin that held her, James released a low purr and she stilled in his arms. The younger twin, Jason reached foward and hesitantly ran his fingers through Adrian's fur.

"She fine Fire Wielder, she controls ice, a power that's hard to control. When a snowstorm hits she'll sleep until it passes, usually her powers encase her in a crystal until it's over, it's for her protection as much as everyone else's. The headmistress calls this her 'Re-energizing sleep' she'll regain her powers and won't be so sleepy as she's been. The storm was supposed to hit tomorrow but...you can never trust weather foracasts."

Enna choked on a whine as another burst of icy wind escape from her body, her eyes rolling as the breeze freezes the surrounding area in solid ice, James' purr stills as he gracefully jumps the frozen steps and lands on the main floor, Jason easily jumping and shifting as he lands, his now panther body rubbing against his brother before he sits in his haunches.

"She's needs a familiar place to rest, her room won't count since she doesn't really sleep there, the Infirmary is off because she hates being near medical supplies...and the garden as well...Adrian? Do you know another place she'll be safe and warm? The Headmistress has left her in your care as well as ours, my brother and I were sent to watch over her, we used to play together before she was picked up from the orphanage and taken with her grandmother. We need a place, and quickly." Enna whined again as another burst escapes, her heart beginning to slow it's normally erratic beat. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian's nose flared at the feel of Jason's fingers brushing through his fur. After a few moments however, he allowed himself to relax, as much as he could. He wanted to stay as calm as possible however, not feeling like being stuck in this form much longer. It was quite restricting on what he could do.

He listened to the explanation of what was happening, nodding slightly. He looked at her, wishing he could help, once again brushing up against her. A shiver raked through him as the wind came from her, following Jason and Jacob's example and easily jumping over the newly formed ice. He looked up at Jacob, before moving closer to rub his head against her, trying to provide her some support.

He looked at the twin speaking, his ears pinning back slightly as he scanned his brain for a place. He didn't know too much about where she would stay however. Another shudder escaped him at the burst, and he simply moved closer to her, nuzzling her softly. He then sent a thought to both of them, I haven't been to many different places with her.. I know earlier she said that she only wanted to sleep in the garden or her room... But I don't know if she was talking about this. The only other places we've been was in the jail thing and upstairs in the library. @Arista

The twins hummed softly, James bending down and gently laying Enna on Adrian's back, her arms instinctively wrapping around his neck and body relaxing completely.

"The garden would be fine-" James began, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

- if she wouldn't freeze everything and having the possibility of weakening herself further- Jason yelped as James harshly tugged on his tail, narrowed violet eyes meeting alarmed-filed violet.

Silence filled the air as both watched one another, they shared a nod and focused on the sabertooth.

"I may have added to the story a bit. Controlling ice takes a toll on the body, Enna bounces back just fine if she uses a lot of power, however sometimes her body can't handle it. What happens when a storm hits is she basically weakens to the point where a mere Human could kill her. An Anima as well. She won't be able to use her ability and will seem as is she's asleep. The truth is she's in a fight for her life, her powers going crazy now because it knows it'll be locked away for however long this storm lasts. The headmistress has warned us that it will be awhile before she's able to move after she wakes, it takes a toll and weakens her muscles or something. It has to be a place bathed in a scent that soothes her, can you think or anywhere?" James asks, Enna burrows her face into Adrian's fur and whines softly, faint tremors beginning to run along her body as quicker pulses of icy wind escape and fill the air. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian looked at James gratefully as Enna was placed on his back. He nuzzled her softly, breathing in her scent softly. He also relaxed slightly, comforted by her close presence. His ears twitched at the twins words, his lip lifting up slightly at the tone that Jason seemed to reply with, not fond of it at all. But he closed his mouth, not wanting to get into a debate about anything now.

He listened to James, eyes narrowed slightly as he considered what he was saying. This seemed insane, all that she had to go through every snowstorm that happened. He turned his head back and lightly pressed his nose against her shoulder. Feeling more burst of her powers, he warmed up his body, resisting the cold air radiating from her. He then sent another thought, getting an idea, We could try my room, we both seem to comfort each other, so she would be surrounded by my scent, I could stay in there with her and care for her, I can handle the cold. @Arista

Both twitched and glanced back up, James bidding and making for the stairs, Jason pausing to pick up the discarded packet with his jaws before following his brother.

"We'll be outside the door, our flame would probably be a threat. We don't have much time, Jason move." James stated as he bound up the steps once more, violet flame wafting into the air to melt the ice, Jason followed and landed on his paws, tail flicking from side to side as he waits.

Enna shivers and shuffles closer to Adrian, her fingers lossening their grip as the beginning of snow begins to hit the windows, her power flaring out now in random spurts and pulses as her breathing begins to deepen, her heart beginning to slow.

She'd be still as stone soon. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian nodded his understanding, carefully running after the two. He could feel her grip loosening around his neck, so he knew if he went much faster then he was already going he would cause her to fall off of his back and onto the floor, which was more likely when he was going up stairs. Reaching the top of the stairs, he carefully turned and started down the boys hall, taking the lead from James and Jason.

Reaching his room, he slowed to a stop, grabbing the handle in his mouth and opening the door, which he left unlocked before. He pushed the door open, moving over to his bed. Reaching it, he turned his head to help nudge her off of his back and on top of the bed, sniffing her shoulder softly. His room was rather plain, but scorch marks dotted the walls around the room, signs of his outbursts of anger. He turned back to look at the twins, sending a thought to them both, I should have this now, I'll call if I need help with anything.

He looked at Enna, softly jumping onto his bed, careful not to accidently step on her. He was figuring that his close presence would also help her in some way. He squeezed his way between her and the wall, using one of his paws to ensure that she wouldn't fall from the bed. He increased his body heat slightly again, needing to keep himself warm. He would probably be exhausted after this, having to keep his power active to keep himself warm as long as this lasts. @Arista

Enna whined softly and stilled, her head turning in the direction the warmth was coming from, she felt heavy, tired and sore. She could hear the faint sounds of snow hitting glass and she stiles and holds the breath in her lungs. She could smell blood and the smell of burning flesh, the sound of heavy steps waking across wooden floor, the soft sound of familiar humming filled her ears as her head lifts and she scans the room she's in.

The living room. How'd she? The sound of a screech and the flare of ice had Enna jumping to her feet and running toward the kitchen, her body shifting on its own.

Both twins still and nod, the door closing behind them as they take point on either side of the door, the sound of Enna's breath stilling in her lungs had them both stiffening, the next burst of power slowly beginning to encase her body as her heart continues to slow, her body beginning to shift unconciously between full wolf and half wolf.

Her body instinctively moving away from the warmth as ice water seems to run along and through her body. She didn't want to hurt anyone, she wouldn't. @SomeoneSomewere

Adrian nuzzled her head, softly purring in her ear, resting his head down beside her. Wondering if this would work, he tenderly sent a thought to her, you are safe, Enna, I won't let anything happen to you, you are safe. He hoped his presence in her mind wouldn't freak her out, while he knew she wouldn't reply, he hoped it would provide her comfort. He could feel and hear her breathing stop, and it concerned him, so he did what he could.

He held her gently, refusing to leave her side. The blasts of cold has shivers running down his spine, but he pushed it from his mind and refused to let it biter him. She needed him near her, so he needed to get over his aversion to cold. He felt the rapid shifts, loosening his hold more so, allowing her to move freely while still keeping her from falling. He felt the casing begin to form, and with hesitation, pulled away, willing to allow it to form before he took his place again. Before it completely did, he allowed his rough tongue to run over her hand, compelled to do so in some form of comfort. @Arista

Enna shivered and her power fizzled out, her body ceasing it's shifting and a long, slow whine escapes her lips. The ice encasing her body finished and she lay still, her fingers twitching slightly as she relaxed at the warmth and the feel of a rough tongue licking her hand.

The storm continued outside, Jason shivered and raised his head, his ears twitching as a thought filled his mind.

You can shift back Adrian. Just focus on something that helps you keep you calm and something you'd protect. Focus and you'll be you again. No matter how much anger you have, if someone is able to help you then it's easier don't you think? James arched a brow and shook his head, allowing his body to shift and he laid down beside his brother, a yawn causing his jaw to crack.

He watched her finish cover herself in her power, resting his head down on the bed next to her. He then gently jumped back up onto the bed, fitting himself between the wall and her. He rested his head down on his paws, gazing at her. He just had to wait, and be there for her during this. He leaned slightly up against her, but careful not to do so too hard. He listened to the soft pelting of the snow against the glass, ears perked.

He frowned slightly as James voice entered his head, ears twitching slightly in reaction as if expecting to hear something. He considered his words, frowning still. He had never attempted to try anything like this before, mostly due to not having anything in the first place. He then replied to James, I'll try it. His mind drifted to Enna as something he could protect and care for, she also being the thing that calms him down the fastest. It sounded easy, so there was no harm in trying. He closed his eyes, what would be his eyebrows drawing together as he concentrated, struggling to block out the other thoughts that invaded his brain. After a struggle, he managed to break past the barrier in his mind, the barrier that is what prevents him from shifting back into his human form. He took a deep breath then allowed himself to shift, grunting slightly at the rush of energy where his body reformed itself into the shape of a human. He let out a pant, resting his head down, the typical feeling of exhaustion taking over his body. He laid still for a little before letting out a slow breath, lifting up his head again. He sent a second though to James, I managed to get it to work.

Enna's body twitched slightly as a faint burning sensation filtered across her skin, something seemed off but she couldn't do anything to prevent it now.

She hoped Adrian was okay and safe.

Two days later

Topaz eyes scanned the grounds as the storm continues, he could feel it calming before rising again as minutes passed. His lips twitched in a smile and he made his way towards the front entrance, his hands shoved deep into his pockets, his head tilting slightly as he took a sniff of the air. A purr filling his throat at the smell of someone immobile, weak filtered into the air, his eyes flashing crimson as he gathered his power and vanished, the passing males never seeing him as he enters the school.

He had someone he needed to visit, the girl who's scent filled his nose. @SomeoneSomewere

Two days later, and the storm showed no sign of weakening, much to his frustration. A few hours ago he had allowed sleep to succumb him, and he was laying on his side, and arm wrapped around the shell covered Enna. Soft gentle snores escaped his mouth, his arm tightening slightly around her. His body heat allowed him to keep in contact with her, despite any cold that came from her.

He stirred slightly, feeling something off. His eyes cracked open, a yawn causing his mouth to crack open. He shook his head softly, rubbing his eyes. He lifted his head and looked around, releasing Enna. He listened and smelled the air, nose flared, wondering what had caused him to awaken. @Arista

Grinning as he made his way towards the upper level his nose twitched when he could the scent again, the odd flame of heat coming from the to had his eyes narrowing. He could almost taste it, her scent bathed the air as if she'd spent days here, moving forward he made his way down the hall, now guided purely by the scent of the girl.

The case cracked along Enna's head, the storm stilling once more and staying still, her fingers twitched as she took a deep, slow breath, her eyes straining to open as a shiver ran down her spine.

"Ad...dri...an?" She managed to whisper, her gaze seeking his as the familiar scent filtered into the now slowly continuous cracks of the encasing, her head attempting to turn to one side to check, a wince was her reward.

He frowned still, wondering what it was. He was unnerved, and he doubted that he would be capable of falling back asleep anytime soon. He slowly lowered his head back down to the pillow, letting out a soft sigh. He watched the door carefully, frowning still, wondering how James and Jason were doing.

Then her voice sounded next to him, sounding tired and worn from no use, as well as the crack of the casing around her head. He pushed himself up, moving into her line of sight. A smile formed on his face and he spoke softly," Hey Enna, I'm here." He sat himself up more, disappearing from her view briefly before reappearing, now in a more comfortable position. He then said to her," I think the twins are outside of the room still, haven't heard too much from them." @Arista

"Something isn't-they need to..." She trailed off as the ice cracked and fell away, a whine escaping her lips when she tried to move her head and couldn't, she could feel it faintly, someone or something was coming this way. She licking her dry lips and whistling once, the sound of twin slams against the door had her relaxing slightly, her fingers twitching in her slowly growing panic. "Both of you...go find a Custos...we have company...." She managed before falling into a coughing fit, the soft purrs answered as they both ran down the stairs. Enna glanced at Adrian and felt her eyes droop slightly, she was tired but she wouldn't -couldn't- sleep now, she clenched her teeth before voicing her question. "Can you fight?"

The male paused when two panthers ran past him, their tails and ears worming as they head back down the stairs, his eyes blink when the girl's scent changes and he catches a smell of cat mixed in. He feels his claws extend and can feel his human form fading as he moves once more, his darkness leaving him as he nears the room, he couldn't wait to meet her. @SomeoneSomewere

He softly stroked her cheek at the whine, wishing that he was capable of removing any pain that she was having at this point in time. He wanted to be able to do something. A small frown was on his face as she struggled to speak, turning his head to the door as she managed to get out her message. His frown deepened as she mentioned company, as well as the need for a custos. They weren't necessary if something bad was going to happen, he knew something was wrong.

His head swiveled back to her, nodding at her question," I can always fight." He allowed himself to shift, this shift much easier and less painful then the one several days prior. He shook his large head, his tongue flicking out to wet his nose to help with the picking up of scents. He gently brushed his head against her, before carefully jumping down to the floor. He padded over to the door, directly between the door and Enna, just far enough from the door for it to miss him when it opened. He lowered his body into a low crouch, the muscles in him bunching to preparing for any attack. His right ear was pointed directly at the door, his left swiveling slightly to pick up other noises. He smelt the air almost constantly, prepared to attack, hoping for the element of surprise. @Arista
