I wonder whether being elf-blooded will have any impact for Kieran in later games, presuming either the Hero of Ferelden or Alistair was his father?

@McHaggis Agreed, I still love Asunder the best though XD

@SimplyJohn As much as I love the idea of that they can't really make him cannon in general because there are those few people that didn't get wild with that witch to make him a thing... like me

@SimplyJohn Kinda like where BioWare does not do Anatomy correctly with the Player Character after Origins.
"Extremely buff mages. Because why be unique when we can use generic bases?"

Or like "Why would we be creative with race design? Or armors?"

Edit: I might sound like I'm bashing BioWare, but take it with a grain of salt. I acctully love BioWare, but they are pretty lazy about some things. Like, I know Sarrebas talked about the design things too, but even then it really shouldn't have been so hard for them.

That being said, BioWare makes Tolken acctully more interesting.

In truth, I kinda bash every dev in one way or another. (Don't get me started on my thoughts on Ed Boon. XD)

@CAS1006 Hey don't worry about it dude, Bioware is a great dev company but I now they are also lazy bastards XD I would love to have had body modification options in the game and more appearance options in general, but they did deliver on their story end of the game so that does help with the sting of never being a skinny Qunari with long hair and four horns

@SaarebasLike I was trying to make a character like me when I rented on ps3 back in November before I got my ps4 as a graduation gift. And I make my guy a mage. "Nice face." And then I see the body.

"What the fuck... Did you really just pull this on me BioWare...?" And I just swapped to a Female Warrior.
She looked like Milla Maxwell from Tales of Xillia. (Which is like my third favorite game. The other two being Witcher 3 and Dragon Age as a collective whole. Mass Effect in fourth place. ME was good, but I don't get how it was revolutionary. It made a dialog wheel I didn't even like that was stuck to every BioWare game.)

The Warrior was fun and felt it took less risk because of her broken ass counters. The Mage was not as fun. But I am challenging myself to make another Mage for for my current canon.

Also, another Reason I'm taking super long to get into Inquisition isn't because of Witcher, it is just Dragon Age is too immersive where I'd lose track of time and bitch about how much time I lost, it is why I'm afraid to jump right into it. XD

You don't have to do the rite with her for Kieran to be born, Morrigan is always pregnant in the Witch Hunt, having found some other way to get the job done without the Hero's help.

(I'm more interested in whether or not they bring Feynriel back. Though I guess that's not likely given you can make him Tranquil.)

Now there's a cure to Tranquility that may not be as much of a problem as you think.

@SimplyJohn Kinda like where BioWare does not do Anatomy correctly with the Player Character after Origins.

From what I've heard, from people who actually work in the industry, most of the 'generic-isation' of the DA games has been coming from EA, who want BioWare to produce games which can be cross-pollinated onto as many systems as possible. Since they have to now deal with potentially four different types of game engine to cope with this certain features have to be streamlined to allow for easy porting.

Already a third of the staff who were involved with the first game are no longer with the company, having not had their contracts renewed by EA after the 'merger', and so the creative focus has obviously changed with the influx of new, EA-friendlier faces.

Be careful of letting them get away with too much though, otherwise they might start to let narrative standards slip.

@McHaggis Umm.... Geralt is anything but Silent. He is like me where he is very blunt, cynical, snide/sarcastic lol.
Seriously, watch any video. He is far from generic. (Hell, no where near generic.) He is just versatile.

@SimplyJohn I never heard any mention of a kid from Morrigan on my "don't bang the witch" playthroughs XD

I like ME just because it does have some interesting lore and soo many species to study, also this...

@SaarebasGoing to sound like a dick... but the races were not that interesting in Dragon Age aside from the Quinari.
I say that because... They did just Tolken things for the most part and it wasn't the original to know what they were going to be like, however, they are charming in their own ways.

However, can we just gush about how awesome the Turians are?

@CAS1006 Yeah the ones that they present up front are pretty boring, the council races are pretty humdrum and those are pretty much all the ones we get to see. But the ones that don't always get the spot light are pretty cool in my opinion. Like the Elcor, how their society is described is awesome and I personally loved how they had to describe emotions, not to mention that in battle they are literally living tanks, I always wanted to see one in battle.

@McHaggis Yessss.
@Saarebas Like the Qunari are pretty much organized version of Shoa Kahn with a strong code and very worthy adversaries.

And they are the one race that has looked better through each game. Elves got hit with ugly sticks... a lot. Dwarves all look the same, and Humans get hit with a sack or rocks to ugly sticks or Divine chisels. (Karen, I'm looking at you.)

At least they gave us the Extended Ending in the end. And personally I think Citadel DLC makes up for the red-green-blue thing.

Citadel was a great addition to the third game, although when I played through the series as a xenophobic Shepard who refused to recruit Garrus in the first game, managed to kill off all the aliens on her team in the second game and wasted Ashley in the showdown in the third game the scene where everyone comes out with their guns blazing was a little undermanned. XD

Have to say though, it's worth romancing Ashley in the first game and then moving onto Tali in the second just so you can see how jealous the bitch gets towards the little spacehopper in the third. Same thing happens with Jack too. For someone who dumps you for working with Cerberus, that girl just don't know when to give it up. XD

@CAS1006Garrus, hot damn. Turians are the best.

What's the most difficult part about treating a Turian who's taken a rocket to the face?
Figuring out which side got hit.

Great straight man, throughout the series. Nice how he gets to end up with Tali (sort of) if they're both alive at the end of the trilogy.

Dwarves all look the same, and Humans get hit with a sack or rocks to ugly sticks or Divine chisels.

Dwarves got hit by a tonne of rocks too, it just didn't make any difference to how they already looked. XD

The first version of her, or the second?

I really loved her as the old hag/dragon but the vamped up battle-witch we meet later didn't feel as good for me. Wonder what she's upto with the Eluvian though..?
