I still get distracted by the fact it's Kate Mulgrew doing her voice, in the same way Claudia Black draws my ear with Morrigan, Matriarch Aethyta and Admiral Daro'Xen.

Fun fact, she gives zero fucks in her play through, I swear. Straight up murders Isolde to save Connor.

I liked DA 2 as well, people only don't like it as it strayed so far from the original gameplay and story structure wise. You can say it.... *pause for dramatic effect* didn't stick to its Origins

@Saarebas I liked DA 2 a lot because you were not some generic hero, you were just someone trying to get away from a war and start a new life, to me that was cooler than the blight, the map had a nice home feeling after a while, so yeah, I like the Roman Esque Kirkwall.

What hindered Kirkwall was the lack of different dungeons and the fact that it strayed so much from origins making people hate it.

@CAS1006 Agreed, I felt far more connected with my Hawk than I did with my Warden. It was a much more intimate game about someone who wasn't looking for glory, but more stumbled upon it.

@vancexentan Yeah its repetitiveness was a major issue with the game. The game wasn't ground breaking, but then again Origins wasn't either, but both had their own charm that I fell in love with

Dude, Fredrick as a warden was ridiculous. Once I got the ball rolling he just sort of...murdered everything. I wonder if he even knew mages were supposed to be powerful and dangerous, cuz whenever all his allies were killed Fred would just calmly jog forward and murder everything in sight.

@Adorabadass I don't remember every set up, but Human Mage, Stealing skill at the circle when you start? Just nab everyone and you nearly have the best equipment before the intro is concluded.

Then get Arcane Warrior with high dexterity. You won't only be just evasive, but you'll do high damage, and with all the Arcane Skills, you can just phase through most attacks to where you can solo everything.

Like, I forget her name, but Orgen's wife Branka I think? My party died, but my Warden Apocolyptus soloed eveything there and won.

And in Awakening? When I got Battlemage, me pretty much became Lavos mixed with Giygas. The Mother Stood no chance at all.
