Lets assume that all who were at the inn know about what's going on? Or not- it's up to everyone. Either way, it will have to be explained to Durin, Kayleth and The Red at least. But it would be as simple as Robert explaining that he got a tip from somewhere that the key to ending the war is up in the mountains, and there are dragons in the way.

On an ooc note, the goal of this quest is to retrieve an artifact, one of powerful, magic properties. The artifact had been discussed by the Co gm (who has disappeared) and i. I'd like to continue on that path, should he return, but if need be, I will tweet it a little. So if anyone wants to know a bit more about the artifact, or thinks their character would know -anything- about it, pm me. It would help in the long run if at least one person heard of it somewhere in the past.

I find it exceptionally amusing that a halfling, who are notorious for being unafraid, is interacting with The Red. There's just something humorous about how his natural reaction is essentially useless on her - she's obviously unafraid as it is.

Admittedly it was unintended - certainly chaotic on every front, evil slightly for the subsequent handling, but it wasn't murder for murder's sake, destruction for destruction's sake, and so on.

Absolutely not good in any sense, but more pure chaos than anything.
