Sky Pirates and their Misadventures

In the old world, there was chaos and contention. Magic and monsters ran unchecked, the land become desolate and dangerous. The only thing people could do was escape to the clouds. Islands powered by magic now float in the sky providing a safe haven for those lucky enough to escape the terrors below. Despite the fact that most people have now escaped the land below and there are numerous colonies in the sky, there are just some things that you can't escape. One of the largest problems existing in the new sky society is Sky Pirates. Numerous as the clouds in the sky, the rob and pillage whoever they find.

Welcome everyone, to wonderful Sky world of Endalia. This RP does have many slice of life elements (as pirates of course) and it also has some serious times as well. This is a compilation of misadventures, as such there will be storyline and adventures, some being long, others being short. If you know anime then this might sound very similar to "one piece" (except were sky pirates) Which is true to a sense as people will have super human abilities. Not as ridiculous as "one piece", but I still allow crazy strong abilities. There will be magic as well involved so there are a lot of options for characters here.

The airships use machines to fly, powered by electricity gathered from storms. The particular airship the crew will be on is called the Stormsong, an airship with six-humongous fans 3 on each side. Aside from that, it looks like a typical pirate ship.

Mark me as interested. Though a question: would people still be able to practice magic? And are talking about like a plane-like vehicle or a giant balloon with a ship strapped underneath it?

Well, the ship we will be flying in is listed in the last paragraph of the first post. As for the usual ships we come across used by others, it depends on which nation they are from.

The tech level can be as advanced as steampunk, though that is pretty rare to see. Magic can be very destructive, meaning you could destroy a whole ship with a single spell, but there are also very strong protective spells which yo will see more often.

@Rin True that the One Piece craziness is fun, if it generates more interest, than i'll be fine with it. If there is interest in that sort of power, we could always replace devil fruit people with magic.

Name: Melody Storm
Age: 18
Gender: Female

Abilities: Magical Music (Bard), Excellent Sword Fighter, above average accuracy with guns

Personality: Easy-going, rough, occasionally serious. Loves a good laugh.

Bio: Melody's parents abandoned her when she was young. Forced to live on the street and fight for her food, she eventually learned how to defend herself. One day, as she was on her own (about 8) she was found by a traveling bard who took her in as his own. The bard quickly discovered that Melody had an incredible knack for music so began to teach her right away. Even though Melody became well-versed in the use of most instruments, her forte by far was her singing which seemed to have a strange effect on people who listened to her singing. Working together, the two traveled the land performing wherever they went, that was; until a group of pirates enjoyed Melody's singing so much that they took her away, and possibly killed the bard who was trying to protect her. Living on the pirate's ship for almost a decade, Melody became very accustomed with sky sailing/flying and eventually took over the captain's position after he and most of his crew were captured by the military. She alone escaped and was barely able to get the ship safely docked at a neutral port in the sky.

Name: Milly "Minnie" Nobel
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: "Heheheee~ Don't go back that way, it's-"*BOOM*"-... Right on time! :D"
Abilities: Milly is, in spite of her young age, an explosives expert with an in-depth knowledge of how to brew just about anything you might need for demolition. She knows how to make small explosives, big explosives, explosives that will stick to a surface, explosives that will just flash without actually causing damage, if you need something blown up, Milly is the one to ask. She's also rather capable of laying traps, provided they involve explosives. She is also adept at predicting when an explosion will occur, and as she is familiar with the scent of gunpowder she can detect it by smell very easily. Due to her small size, Milly is also decent at infiltration, provided she gets to blow something up at the end.
Personality: Milly is rather friendly and enthusiastic, and eager to talk. Well, eager to talk about one specific thing. Explosives. Milly loves to talk about explosives. This may be because of her near-obsession with them and her tendency to use them for just about any purpose no matter what it is. Distractions, breaking through a lock, fighting, Milly uses explosives to do just about anything they could possibly be used for. She adores explosions to the point of almost lusting for a fiery blast of destruction, which likely drives her work to make more and more explosives. She is eager to help out the crew... by building explosives and explosive traps. However, she can also be rather temperamental and quick to anger. She is much more patient with constructing new bombs then she is with people in most cases. She dislikes her nickname of "Minnie" as she is self-conscious about her small size and underdeveloped appearance. However, she is confident she will grow out of it, insisting she is simply a late bloomer and in a year or two she will be even more mature in build then any of the other girls in the crew. Her payback towards those who anger her tends to vary, from planting flashbang traps in their room to putting small explosive traps under their bed, the former for friends and the latter for enemies.
Bio: Descended from a long line of explosives experts, Milly's purpose in life is derived from the success of her family in the field. To put it simply, Milly feels the need to display her explosives knowledge. Born to Eric and Danielle Nobel, Milly grew up learning about explosives. Indeed, from a young age, she grew more and more obsessed with them. Sadly, she suffered from illness early in life, which she insists explains her "late bloomer" status. She has long since recovered from her illness, and insisted in venturing out into the world to display her explosives knowledge. It became especially important to her after the accidental death of her father six years ago, which many people attributed to a mistake with his explosives. Adamant that her father would never make such a mistake, Milly left in order to prove the knowledge he passed to her was not the knowledge of someone who would have killed themselves with their own work. Admittedly she also left in order to blow up more things, but the original, chief purpose, the one closest to her heart, is to prove herself and prove her father did not make a mistake that cost him his life.

Seeing how they said it was okay for me to make a harpy, I am assuming so. Probably better if there's not too many non-humans, though, but that's just how I see it I guess. So another one wouldn't be too bad I guess.

I mean. So long as they can communicate via speaking, I think we will be fine. Also, a harpy looks somewhat similar to a human.

@RinSO will your harpy have human arms with wings, are wings for arms, or something different.
