The rules
Storyline
As the title might suggest, this RP does not have a storyline. Besides the other few rules, it only has a starting place and time, which gives the players the opportunity to make it develop into almost everything.
Starting place and time
The starting place and time is London in 2015.
The creatures available
Humans
Humans are like real humans, just that they can use telepathy.
Vampires
Vampires can use telepathy, can read minds, are 10 times as strong as an adult man, can turn into any animal that really exists, can influence people, animals and the weather, can climb up straight walls and have got very strong senses. They can only drink blood - if they eat or drink anything else, they have to puke - and can only die if they lose too much or do not drink enough of it (for an adult, at least three but max. four litres of blood are necessary; if they drink much more, they feel bad, like humans who eat too much). If they have babies, those babies are human-born. New-born vampires are usually the students of Count Dracula. To become a vampire, you need to either be bitten by one or to drink a vampire's blood and then to die.
Witches/wizards
Humans, werewolves and vampires can be witches/wizards. There is some type of magic for almost anything. Only two things they cannot do: For some reason, they cannot cure birth defects by magic, and they cannot bring people or animals back to life. And not all of them are able to use certain types of magic. Those types are seen as very strong magic, and only people who have a special gene for it can use it. Those types of magic are:
- spells that directly kill the victim (like 'Avada Kedavra' in 'Harry Potter')
- drain of energy (some would call this PSI vampirism)
- any type of magic that affects more than 100 people.
Novices, of course, are not able to use all the types of magic that their genes allow them to use (yet).
Werewolves
Werewolves are people that turn into wolves due to strong negative emotions. Their wolf form can be up to ten feet tall, and some werewolves live in clans of up to 20. But still, it is quite easy to defend them: You just need to injure them with anything made of silver.
Additional rules
Godmodding
To make the RP fair, godmodding is not allowed. That means that all your characters need weaknesses. Still there is no need to tell them right away; it can also be interesting if the other players have to find out about them first.
Language
The main language is English. If you write something in another language, please make sure to write the English translation in brackets behind it.
Character sheets
If you introduce new main characters to the RP, please make sure to write a short character sheet for each of them. This helps to make the RP more clear.
Notes
I introduced these roles to avoid godmodding, and to make it a bit easier to understand the RP (especially when it comes to foreign languages). But the RP is still fresh. If you do not like some of these rules, just tell me. Maybe we can change them.
