Hello all,
I know that a post autosave feature has been requested many times and is on it's way, but would be hard to implement. So I would like to propose a feature that could be handy in the mean time, and possibly after the autosave feature has been implemented:
Pop up dialogues!
If you have begun typing in the reply box and hit refresh or click a link (which targets the current tab, not a blank one), a dialog should pop up - preventing you from reloading the page or loading the next page until you press confirm, or cancel the load. Additionally, there could be a dialog box that pops up when a user presses post, reminding them to copy it (their post) to the clipboard, or offering for it to do so.
Users could specify in their preferences if they'd like to disable one or both of the dialogs, then it is at their own risk.
