Okay so basically she has to have some sort of physical contact with the person before hand. Whether its holding their hand or hugging them or even just brushing shoulders, but her body has to be introduced to theirs, basically. Once that happens, she can "channel" them. How far or close they can be to her for it to work depends on the amount of physical contact they have had. The more shes touching someone, the farther away they can be from her & it still work.
So for example, a hand shake with someone once, that's a pretty simple and weak connection, and they would have to be at least arm length for it to work.
Hugging a friend every once in awhile, that might give her 15-20ft
Of course, Aurora doesn't have this figured out, but yeah.

@ribcageroses Sort of like Rogue's ability in X-men? How long does it last? How well can she duplicate the other abilities?

A bit like Rogue, yet not for the whole person, just their supernatural ability. Thus, it wouldn't weaken or effect the person as heavily, when Aurora would channel them.
I'd say, the extent of the ability depends on how much the "owning" person knows. Whatever their body is aware they can do, she can do.
I imagine it a bit like "copy cat cells" that replicate those of the person she is touching & is stored in a dorment state until she tries to use them. But only one of these copy cat cell groups can work at a time.

My character just went to the cabins, I think that Solis and Zachary are in the woods but other than that I think that everyone else is at or close to the campfire but I can't be sure.

Im confused and need help. Solis took Zack (my character) into the woods to show him Heaven but then some other person comes up (phoebe)and starts talking to me and says she sits down next to me. I don't know what to do or who to acknowledge.

@SadCubone ummm.... I can see how that can be confusing. Im not sure what to tell you. As far as I know Phoebe has no way of going to heaven. Maybe she sat by you in the woods? Maybe Solis only took you mind or soul to heaven rather then your body. I would wait until one of them clears things up.@PhoebeCarlisle@Blackmist16
