Hart didn't have very much time to react when she heard a giant crunch. The jet began to plummet and she was thrown into the back wall. She watched as Krait began to mess with the controls, screaming at it. The next thing she knew was a large scaly arm wrapped around her waist and Krait's. There was a rush of air and a crash as Jacque jumped out of the plane. Her scream was cut short by the rush of air across her face. With a thunk and a crack they'd landed on the asphalt. "You two okay?" She remained silent as she held her stomach, feeling sick. Looking around she spotted Hellhound as the others attacked him. She took of running toward him, taking her gloves off as she dodged objects and fire pockets. Nic was preparing to tackle him, that was her one chance to absorb him. She kept running.

Hellhound threw out flames, melting Roxy's Knives as quickly as she could throw them when suddenly he found himself 5 feet off the ground from the wave of energy created by Steampunk, He began to orient himself vertically but silver and white flashed before his eyes as Nic grappled him and threw him to the ground, pinning him under the mechanized suit "Sparkplug, Absorb his power!" He yelled, hoping she would reach him before the villain became unstunned, his armor was resilient to heat but he could probably be cooked alive inside of it.

Feeling Leather hides arm wrap around her waist, Krait started to panic, holding from the control pad. "Wait! Wait, wait, I can handle this!" she screamed, but she was already pulled along others through the windshield, a loud snap hearing when the pad was torn apart from console. It only took one second to realize they were already outside, and another second to gasp air, as the impact on the pavement made her slightly dizzy. Apart from minor bruises on her, she was fine... physically.

"Thanks...." Krait muttered, as she heard the jet crashing on the street behind them. She curled her hands into fists, using all her force to just throw the control pad against the ground, giving out a slight girlish roar of frustration. Seeing Sparkplug already going for the target, she looked up. "And if you can also get me back on my feet and let go, that would be nice too." she added, still hanging from her waist around his arm. She might be strong, but she wasn't going to get anywhere from Leather hides hold without him letting her go.

John fell to his knees, weakened by the blast he'd sent at Hellhound. But he needed help. He could tell Nic wasn't going to be able to hold him for much longer if Hellhound came to his senses. He stood back up, a look of defiance in his face. He turned his hands towards Hellhound and forced him down. If he woke up he'd be held there. At least for a little while. But John could feel his powers draining. Sparkplug needed to absorb Hellhound. And fast.

Roxy was pissed. No one destroyed her knives! Angrily she tossed her trench coat to the ground. She place all of her knives on the coat as quickly as she could. Then Roxy stormed over to Hellhound. She would probably be burned, but right now she simply didn't care. She began kicking the downed villain in the face.

Hikari didn't move much, but she noticed John's fall. He was weakening, and it looked like he couldn't hold Hellhound forever. Thankfully, Roxy was kicking him in a the face, so Hikari didn't have to do anything at the moment. So she relaxed and waited to see what would happen. Maybe Sparkplug would make it, maybe not. Right now she would just be backup, in case something more happened. Hikari relaxed, breathing a sigh of relief that the fight was mostly over now.

After he'd landed Leather Hide had remembered to release Sparkplug immediately so that she could go after Hellhound, Krait on the other hand he'd taken a bit longer to, something she seemed less than pleased about if her somewhat snippy request for freedom was any indicator. "Sorry." The gator man rumbled as he placed his team mate on her feet. As the others crowded around Hellhound to pin him, Leather Hide gave a mighty roar and lurched forward with surprising speed, his massive legs launching him forward with each step. The others might have been able to pin the villain temporarily, but they couldn't keep it up forever, Jacque was a different story though, as far as he was concerned there wasn't another sentient being alive that could match his power, something that Hellhound was about to learn the hard way.

She watched as Nic tried to hold Hellhound and Leather Hide made his way over to help. She'd have to find an opening soon or the whole team would get beat. She searched, finally coming within range enough to absorb him but not finding a good place to with Nic flailing everywhere. "Somebody hold him! I gotta have him be still for just a second." She yelled looking around the group. Things were kind of crazy at the moment between dodging flames and soundwaves and all sorts of things. Yet she knew if she could just get to him she could end this, the team believed in her.

John heard Hart's cries as his powers weakened. He put all his strength into holding Hellhound and forced him down, eliminating his mobility, at least for a time.

Hikari, irritated at John, helped hold down Hellhound. Her held down his arms, adding her own weight to the strength she used. Why would he foolishly use more energy? That left him open for attack and probably stopped him from moving. He was better off trying to use a little energy while keeping an eye out for anyone else that might have helped Hellhound. "You'd better hurry up, Sparkplug, or we'll get thrown clear," she snapped, putting as much effort as she could spare into trying to keep him still. Besides, this was awkward and not a very good choice for putting someone into a decent hold. If Nic would just stop thrashing and move she could probably help him better if they weren't positioned over this guy's helmets.

"Johns not going to be able to hold him. If you can rearrange yourselves differently I can add my weigh." Roxy suggested

Symbols flashed in front of Nic's eyes, the suits synaptic core, reacting at the speed of his thought "Initiating overdrive mode" his suit chimed as its servos began to whir at five times the speed of before, as the battery began to drain quickly, The power of the suit skyrocketed, his fingers now carving deep grooves into the pavement "I have initiated the overdrive in my suit, it will drain in approximately 10 minutes" Nic said hoping the others would understand his sense of urgency.

Krait was about to open her mouth again for very specific, yet vulgar words when Leather hide had already made his charge to the battle, leaving her alone. Taking a deep sigh and letting herself calm down for a few seconds, he then started to run as well, though there was enough rubble on the streets that she didn't dare to charge in with speed only to be tripped over and crush her spine on the pavement. Seeing around the streets, there were only few people taking their hurried exit from the scene. Somewhere in the distance, alarm of a firetruck could be heard. Krait shivered in the mere thought what the faith of them would of been if Hellhound would of ambushed those people instead of her and the others.

Finally getting sight of the scenery that was happening, Krait quickly noticed it was forming to be one hell of a struggling pile, and she would only get in way if starting to interrupt the process of getting Hellhound down. She just stood in her little distance, checking the surroundings once more as she didn't really know how to approach this situation. If Sparkplug would manage to deal with him, the situation would cool down hopefully enough for them to finish their task. Then everyone had contributed properly in either saving lives or taking the bad guy down... except her.

There was a slight tremor in the ground as Leather hide drew near to the others piled around Hellhound, the gator man skidded to a halt just in time to avoid plowing into Roxy. This would likely be the only attempt that he made at avoiding a comrade in his way. "OUT OF MY WAY!", Was the only warning that the others received before Leather Hide swung a massive forearm in their direction with intent to send them sprawling off of the villain. There was no hesitation in his actions, as far as Leather Hide was concerned, the others were in his way, and anything that stood between him and his goals was to be removed by any means necessary.

Roxy moved with a shrugged. They couldn't say that she hadn't offered her help. With Hellhound no longer requiring her attention, Roxy began looking around. Had Hellhound acted alone?

Hikari really didn't even have time to look up before being flung away from Hellhound. She'd been so focused on keeping the guy's arms down that she'd missed the whole warning. Needless to say, she was pretty upset when she had to try and slow down her acceleration. She stuck a hand out and flipped over it, trying to use that energy to land on her feet. With difficulty, she managed to land back on her feet. Unfortunately her left hand was torn up and bleeding now. She had to be careful, it was a minor wound, but she could lose too much blood if she used her powers. For now, she had to be clever. "Nice going Gator Boy…"

She had finally reached the man. She watched as Hikari was flung away and Roxy left. Lunging she clamped both hands on Hellhound's arm, immediately feeling the sensation of his powers slowly draining into her. She also felt the shift as he realized what was happening and tried to fling her like a ragdoll. Yet he was already weakened and she held on tight. She squeezed her eyes shut as the migraine washed over her. Her vision swam. She didn't normally absorb this much. Hellhound picked up his efforts, shaking his arms and using his other arm to sock her right in the mouth. She sunk down but didn't let go. "Help me hold him." She said to Leather Hide.

Hellhound was far from the type that would give up. "You might get me, but this is not done! Your predecessors failed, and you will fail too!" he shouted, trying every last fiber of his strength to create fire with himself. The sparks of flames that flew from him were unstable and not aimed, him almost turning into a living firework that was launched towards the ground instead of the sky.

The flaming spikes coming off of him managed to hit on Nic and his armor, the overheating system already bringing his body on It's edges as he fell down on the ground, the edges of the armor smoking as Krait herself barely managed to duck to the ground to dodge one of the sparkles coming her way. "Knock the guy out for crying out loud!" Krait tried to shout from the rubble she had dropped herself into.

Jacque roared in fury as the flames licked at his thick scales. It may not have caused a massive injury to him as it would to someone with regular skin, but it was still plenty enough to cause pain, which as a result, caused rage. The gator man grabbed Hellhound by the back of his head and lifted him up, "Weak." he hissed contemptuously before driving the villain face first back into the concrete as hard as he could. Jacque's eyes glinted with bloodlust, he was far from done with Hellhound, a fact that he made apparent when he repeated his action once, then another, soon he was slamming Hellhound's face into the ground nonstop, completely unaware of the others around him, and the slowly spreading pool of blood where hellhound's face had impacted with the ground.

Roxy gave the situation some thought. Sparks was trying to drain him, but that didn't seem to be doing much but pissing Hellhound off. She had kicked the dude in the head several times with no result. What did the leave? Then Jacque seemed to find the perfect solution. He began pounding Hellhound's head into the pavement.
