Chromite

Chromite had arrived on the ship with Reggie and the warp pad below them began to deactivate, but not before Sodalite made a dash for it and arrived on the ship as well. "Crap, I didn't detect her!" Chromite watched as she ran down the hall, it looked like in the direction of the equipment room. "Well then Reggie the human, it looks like you're going to get to see more than you bargained for. Your tour is going to begin in our equipment room, as that looks like where our new friend ran off to. Follow me, if you'd please." Chromite produced her lance and opened the door to that room. The lights came on to reveal plenty of things that Sodalite could potentially be hiding behind, including the broken spiderbots she probably recognized from before.

Spinel

Spinel had been on Sodalite's tail for a good while, and had found herself a suitable place to hide which was positioned well above and away from most of the action. She sat behind a large rock with her crossbow ready, waiting for the moment when she would be needed. She witnessed Sodalite attempt to grab a bag which Eve had been shoved into and later run onto the warp pad and be transported onto the ship. There was nothing she could do to help them now, and the gem she didn't recognize who appeared to be aligned with Bloodstone was gone.

Of interest to her now was this new gem who appeared to have recently been born, she saw her run off, eventually followed by Bloodstone. Bloodstone was the only person left who was a threat to her or her friends, so she kept her distance, went invisible and trailed him. She ended up seeing Bloodstone, Aquamarine, and the new gem having a conversation in another part of the Kindergarten. She found another suitable rock to hide behind and did, crossbow at the ready in case she needed it.

Sodalite cradled Evenkite in her arms, holding the small gem carefully as she entered the dark equipment room. There was little to no light, but she was able to find a good hiding spot behind a rack of spiderbots. Had she not been on the run, she would have taken this time to look at the things around her, and maybe even take a few to examine later.

Looking at Eve, Sodalite managed to make just one of her gauntlets disappear. She poked the small gem's face, hoping to get her to wake up or more at the very least. "Evenkite. Evenkite." She repeted briefly before the lights turned on. She was cornered now. With a soft sigh, she set Evenkite down on the ground and summoned her other gauntlet. A fight seemed like the only way out now. Her eyes moved to Evenkite once more. She wasn't just going to reveal herself. She'd wait for Chromite to find her.

Gilles raised both of his palms into the air and shook his head.

"I know you meant cigarettes, it's called a...Um..."
Mind blank. Perfect timing. One of the perks to being trilingual; when you can remember that is blague in French and grapje in Flemish, but you cannot remember what it is in English.

His voice lowered to a murmer that hardly anyone bit him could hear and his head and arms went to the ground. "Um...Blague...Bloog? Blog? No, joke."

"...Joke," he said more loudly, his head raised once more but his arms still at his sides, "It's a joke. Don't have to be such a grump. And I already told you, I don't have any."

"Then that is all you had too tell me youngin" Hogan patted his dress shirt looking around for his wallet finding it in his pants pocket,At time he could be quite forgetful and would have to remind himself of what he needs for the task he set for the day."Im not grumpy...Well sometimes i am but only when i need my cigarettes.." Hogan said fixing his spenders.

What he didn't see was a his Julienite gem necklace that fell on the ground,What one of the young men would notice it was quite bit and was in face the size of a fist that usually wasn't wore by humans.

Zircon relaxed her position and nodded to Aquamarine before she departed in a rush for the other gems. Zircon planned to follow the request as ordered with nothing added and nothing altered. Zircon did worry about the other gems in potential danger but she decided to just focus at the task given at hand. The task: find the trigger to the staircase. Zircon stood up from the grass and stretched her neck before putting a hand on her right hip and the other scratching behind her head. Her eyes scanned around the area from where she stood, considering that the trigger could be hidden or maybe right in the open? Or something like that? Possibly? Hmm? "Trigger to the staircase..." she repeated to herself once in a mumble before softly clicking her tongue in thought. She dropped her arms loosely to her side as she looked to the remaining gems around her, "Aight guys, we have a trigger to find. If it's funny looking that's probably it. If not then it's either nothing or it's something that'll blow up in your face considering what we've run into before," Zircon started to slowly walk around looking, either expecting to be followed or if they decide to go some other direction she would most likely go follow them instead. Zircon would prefer sticking together for now even if it is just to find something, thinking-ahead wise at least.

Emerald listened to what Zircon said before standing up and beginning to look around. A temple isn't a place of fighting, right? Why would there be something that blows up? "Well, this is a temple, right? Not some kind of building from the war that the older Gems keep talking about? So it shouldn't be trapped or hard to find, hopefully." He noticed that Zircon was moving away and then rushed up so he wouldn't be left behind. "Hey, wait up!" Everyone leaves, He thought. Off to go to some dangerous place, leaving the rest of us to do nothing, alone, in a strange new place we know nothing about. Zircon's mention of possible explosions isn't helping, either. These thoughts were...unsettling, to say the least. That wasn't the only way he could've put it, but either way they were true. That just was what he first thought of. Abandonment. Right after we get attacked by spiders, laser eyes, and finally get to rest, we get left here by the only one of us who knows what they're doing, not to mention half of everyone else. With all these thoughts in his head, Emerald almost missed it. Some odd thing sticking out of the wall. "Hey..." Said Emerald, pointing at the thing, "What's that?"

Aquamarine tried to blink back her tears as Melanite started to grin at her and soon after she felt the others hand grabbing her own. She felt comfort from that single motion and squeezed her hand slightly in return as a warm smile made its way onto her features as the young Gem wiped away her tears."I promise to do my best to show you."Aqua replied softly before giving Melanite a quick gentle hug."The others are going to be so happy to meet you. First, let's find the three missing Gems so we can regroup. The others in our group are in the safest place they could be but I hate being away from them too long after all that has happened today.I am grateful you missed it."

Melanite hugged her in return, and smiled a happy and gleeful smile, and nodded in confirmation at what Aqua had said, she REALLY wanted to see these things she was promised. when she hear about others that made her cheeks turn a shade of color that would represent her blushing, she was incredibly shy at the thought of that. She nodded once more at the end of Aqua's sentence, she was willing to see them and make new friends!

As Reggie recovered from warp sickness, he barely had time to register his surroundings when out of nowhere, the blue slasher came up and snatched his bag away, only to be quickly pursued Joan of Arc, who called for him to join the chase. Instead of running after them, however, he simply got up with a sigh, shaking his head at the blue one's stupidity. She must've beem close enough to hear Reggie's condition, right? Eve would've been able to get off whenever she wanted to, but know, the little Imp could wind up getting caught in a fight between the two.

Actually, considering the difference in skill, size, and training, it'd be more of a one-sided slaughter. I know they were only just born, but come on. Fucking Smurfette can't think through her situation, and now she's likely to get iced by Joan of Arc and Captain Kirk. I'm way too young to be dealing with crap like this! After a sigh, Reggie quickly jogs down the hall, taking in some of the weird designs and gadgets all over the place.

"Snazzy place you two got here, Joan," Reggie said as he caught up the armored gem, his eye stuck nervously on the big metal stick she now possessed. He didn't show any nervousness on his face or stance, however, and continued to speak ib a pleasant tone. "If you'd also be kind enough to please put the weapon away, that'd be great. There is an easy, non-violent solution to this. All the little Smurfette wants is to grab the Imp and skedadle with her, so can't you just let her take the small gem, me take my bag, and fire up the warp pad to send them back to Earth. It'd be easier, they'd be out of your hair, and nobody has to get hurt."

Reggie wasn't sure his plan was going to work, but he had to at least pose the option, just in case. Then again, Joan didn't look like the gal to go with that option either, but maybe that was just the armor.

Bloodstone watched as Sodalite burst into his ship, grabbed Eve, and took off. Naturally he'd be pissed, but seeing how Chromite was handling it, he figured it would be good for her. She always tries so hard for everything, maybe this goofy encounter will lighten her up. Blood went back to his computer and noticed that the temple in the area was being activated. Hmmmm, at least now I don't have to look for them. He got up and followed everyone to the equipment room. Reggie seemed to be handling things very well, maybe the human could be an excellent diplomat.. with some training of course. I'll just sit back and see what happens.

Spinel

Now that Bloodstone was gone, Spinel felt safe revealing herself. She became visible and approached Aquamarine and Melanite. "Well, you've found me." she said sheepishly. She felt a little awkward butting into this moment, but she also didn't want to waste time. "I've been trying to keep an eye on you and the others. I have some bad news, Evenkite appears to have been abducted by the human we saw with Bloodstone before, and now they are both on his ship. Sodalite attempted to follow them and is there as well."

Chromite

"If I were truly serious about this I'd have my shield out as well. I don't have any desire for this to end violently, but that is no longer up to me. I was given no instructions regarding you and the one in the bag, besides to show you the ship, so you are both free to go as you please. The blue one came here unauthorized however, and now I must take her to Commander Bloodstone to see what he wants me to do with her." Chromite spoke in a deadpan tone, her initial surprise at having someone dash onto the warp pad before (or rather, after) she could do anything was now gone. Chromite looked around, examining every bit of the room slowly until a small, unconcealed bit of cloth caught her eye. She unceremoniously pushed the broken robot aside and attempted to grab Sodalite by the arm. "Whether or not this situation goes violently is now in the hands of you and the Commander"

Reggie sighed as joan continued to be a stubborn stick in the mud, playing it by the book like that. He was about to say something(or attempt to hold her back so that the other two could escape, when he heard footsteps down the hall, looking out side, he happened to see a familiar face coming down to see what all the commotion was about. Kirk was here, but unless Smurfette didn't try to shank the shit out of Joan, they could have a problem.

"Speak of the devil, Joan, 'cause the good Captain has arrived. Smurfette, I suggest you don't make any sudden moves, okay? I was able to convince them to let the Imp go down if she wished, so chances are you can go to. Jsut cooperate for now, and you could be back at your little temple before you know it. Also, if you would be so kind as to give me back my bag, cause I kinda live in there right now." Reggie was understandable nervous that, if shit got crazy, his back would get torn to shreds in the conflict, possible by a pissed off Eve and her psychokinetic powers. hell, she might do it anyway because he brought her on Bloodstone's ship, one of her 3 most disliked people right now, right next to Crazy and Aquafina.

If Sodalite had a heart, it would have been pounding at this very second. She was well aware of that fact that Chromite would only have to look so hard to find her. She flinched as the spiderbot she was hiding behind was pushed over, and momentarily made no movements to escape. Her gauntlet-covered arm was grabbed by the Knight, and Bloodstone was not too far away from her. Hopefully neither of them had seen her set Evenkite down, or were even aware that she was there.

When Reggie spoke, Sodalite could make no sense of it. Who was Smurfette? Who was Joan? She didn't understand these things, and her heart desired to know more. Despite this, it was no time for learning, she had to escape. Reggie had told her to give in and cooperate, but that was one of the last things she was ever going to do.

With a forceful jerk of her captured arm, and a violent swing with her other, Sodalite escaped Chromite's clutches once again, and the blue gem made a mad dash towards the room with the Warp pad on it. Hopefully she would be able to Escape Bloodstone, and even if she somehow managed to do so, the Warp pad might not even be there. Chromite could summon it at will, so maybe she could dispel it as well. Either way, she had to try, and hopefully Evenkite would wake up and find a way to escape during the ruckus she was causing.

Zircon walked a little slower, as if she wasn't walking slow as it is, as she looked over her shoulder to look at Emerald to let him catch up. Even if she is with the group, she still planned to stay extremely local to the area. Well in other words it could just be simply be said that Zircon wasn't leaving like Aquamarine said not to. Zircon looked back forward and still kept walking a little slow, processing what Emerald said in response to what she said and thought about it. Despite the pause Zircon soon spoke her response while keeping an eye out for the trigger, "Well...I'm not really saying there actually will be anything that blows up...let alone whether it will be hard to find or not. So I guess it's kind of wrong of me to say that. On the blowing up part at least. I kind of...wasn't being serious on that one," she paused for a second, realizing how her last statement either sounded awkward or wrong in some way. She wanted to make an awkward kind of laugh, but she felt like that would make herself sound more awkward. Well, it would have been an awkward laugh so why wouldn't it. "I was more-or-so trying to be..." Zircon paused for another quick couple of seconds to think of the right word, "...'Witty'...I guess. So uh...my bad..." Zircon scratched the back of her head. She did feel a little wrong for saying there's a possibility of explosions, especially if she wasn't serious about it. In a way she might have been presuming. In a way. Maybe. It was real soon when Emerald spotted something and pointed to it; Zircon swiftly aimed her gaze towards it. She stared at it from whatever distance they were from it before starting to walk close up to it, "Only one way to find out," she spoke in a determined but very much mostly a curious tone. As she approached the odd thing in the wall she gently traced her hand around it, just feeling it and making sure she doesn't move it. At least not yet if they actually were to move it or anything later. Zircon took her hand off and then looked to Emerald, "You think this is it?"

"After what I just saw, you clearly need to take a break, and you can murder me with your mind powers later. Now fucking rest, cause apparently you need it."

No way Eve was going to argue with that. Having been put in Reggie's bag and told to rest, embarrassing and demeaning as it was, was far more ideal than being unconscious out in the open at Bloodstone's feet, and though her now hurt pride would probably never allow her to admit it, she was secretly grateful. No complaints were uttered and though the pain still very much present and possibly worse than before, little gem blacked out nearly immediately, too exhausted to even be kept conscious by it.

Once awoken some time later, the first thing Eve noticed was that the burning sensation she felt earlier was no longer present. Which was good. After her eyes opened and adjusted to the lighting, the second thing she noticed was that her vision had returned to normal. Which was also good. Then, having said vision returned to her, the third thing she notice was that she had absolutely no fucking idea where she was. Which wasn't so good.

Indeed, no longer was she stuck in Reggie's bag, but in...Somewhere. Her surroundings were unlike anything she had seen before, and even as she tried to recall the various places Talc had described to her, nothing seemed to match up. All around her were strange pieces of machinery, some she recognized -some spider bots from earlier and a few broken down injectors, not unlike those that dotted the Kindergarten- but most of which she did not, and could only imagine their purpose. Eve instinctively shrunk away from the spider bots, taking great care to not touch any of the equipment in case she triggered one on by mistake or made a sound that could alert someone of her location or presence. Assuming she wasn't alone, of course, but given the sound of footsteps, it was a pretty safe assumption. Keeping cover within the equipment, she eventually settled by the broken injectors, carefully hiding herself within the wreckage so that only a single yellow-green eye peeking out of a hole was visible.

"Well, at least you tried Reggie. Let them go. Chromite, help them out."

Reggie? Reggie was here, too? Why was she out, then? That was Bloodstone's voice. Had Bloodstone done this? Who was them referring to? Was Melanite also on the ship? Sodalite? Someone else entirely? A dozen or so similar questions rushed through her mind, and with it a great sense of confusion and slight worry began to well up within her as well. A large part of her wanted to make herself visible, as visible as possible. Hell, she'd fly right up into Bloodstone's face regardless of what setbacks followed and yell out everything on her mind without filter, respect for the commander be damned.

But you know what, Eve? Let it be. Don't question it. You heard me, don't even question it. Skies knows that no matter what you ask you never get an answer that you like, or even an answer at all, so just keep it quiet. Stay out of trouble, like you told Talc you would.

And then it hit her. Of course. Bloodstone was in charge of the Kindergarten. The broken injectors were from Kindergarten. They were not in Kindergarten. The spider bots? The warp pad? Bloodstone's ship.

She was on Bloodstone's ship.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL. WHY. HOW.

The realisation of this fact hit Eve as hard as how hard she would've hit her head against the wreckage above her while trying to bolt up, had she not remembered that it was there, and that doing so would make quite the racket.

Had Reggie put her here willingly? 'At least you tried'. Words of encouragement? Sounded like it. She didn't want to believe it, but she had to admit, it sounded like it. Perhaps they were in cahoots all along.

By thunder, Eve, you're an idiot. Why the hell did you just trust the guy?

"You can murder me with your mind powers later."

Well, he did give you permission.

Scratch that...He seemed concerned. Genuinely concerned. So why would he be in cahoots? Wh-you know what, let's go with not questioning things a little longer. Your head hurt a lot less when you did that.

Eve remained silent and still as possible, though the assortment of feelings running through her -panic, anger (both at Reggie and herself), hurt, and most of all, confusion- made it harder to contain herself. Hands that seemed far too big for her body were now curled into fists, nails digging into palms.

She would wait. Yes, she would wait, wait until Bloodstone had gone into the other room with Reggie. She would wait for them to leave and explore in her own accord-No. No, they probably knew she was on the ship, and probably where as well. It wasn't like she couldn't just ended up there by herself. Hell, this guy could see what was happening in the Kindergarten from his own ship, no doubt he could tell what was happening in the room she was in. Screw secrecy, they knew she was here, they were just ignoring her.

Just like he must've ignored you when you had emerged.

Are you that insignificant?

Would she try to leave? No, not without Reggie. As suspicious as his actions seemed to be, she had trouble believing he was ill-meaning, and more trouble believing that Bloodstone wouldn't harm him, considering how he greeted the other newborns when they had emmerged, and considering how she found him when they had first met. Though Reggie had presumably gotten her into this mess, it didn't feel right to leave him there.

Because ultimately, it was your own fault. You're the one who let Reggie tag along, and you're the one who tried to go after Melanite. Whatever followed suit was not his fault, it's yours.

Accept that fact.

With a loud huff, Evenkite pushed the wreckage that was meant to conceal her away, creating ungodly loud clangs as they hit the floor. No, she wasn't playing the safe game anymore, and she wasn't playing the pretend games, either. She was going to approach this just as she had approached Bloodstone. Which granted, could've gotten her decapitated. But at this point, Eve was sick with emotion and sick with unanswered questions, and thus this didn't matter. Most of all though, she was at sixes and sevens, and her judgement was as muddled as when she had overused her powers.

Using a voice that dwarfed that of the wreckage before her, she bellowed, "REGGIE, BLOODSTONE, SIR."

Filters be damned. Restraint be damned. She was going to let them know how she felt. She was going to let all her questions fly free.
"YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO."

And rest assured, if anything else went wrong today, questions won't be the only things flying.

"I believe Commander Bloodstone clearly instructed me to show you and your friend off of the ship, small loud one. I think it would be best if you were to come with me without trying to cause any trouble." Chromite started for the control room and began to activate the warp pad again.

Sodalite was thoroughly surprised at how Bloodstone allowed her and Evenkite to leave. She had taken several steps out of the room before slowing down and turning back around. The sound of Evenkite also alerted her, and she made even more of an effort to get back to the room. "Evenkite?" She spoke as she reentered. "Let's go." She said nothing about how Reggie took her onto the ship. While she believed that Reggie was taking Eve onto the ship in an attempt to kidnap her, she didn't know for a fact that it was what happened.

She had little else to say, but it was obvious that she wanted to learn as much as she could, but also get off the ship as soon as humanly possible.

Reggie

Reggie could only sigh as he saw the blue gem make her way down the hallway, not knowing where she thought she was going. There seemed to be only one way on or off this ship and the only people who had the key were Bloodstone and Chromite. He gave a nod to Bloodstone, but instead of following him, made his way over to his bag and where Eve was. He didn't want her to wake up all by her-

"REGGIE, BLOODSTONE, SIR."

Oh look, she's up. I should be happy about that, but with all of the easily liftable metal stuff around, I'm a hell of a lot more nervous than happy. At least she isn't trying to squish me on sight and is willing to let me explain. Reggie pulled at his color a little bit as he cleared his throat. Thinking over the order of events and so on, before turning to face the little imp. "Okay, so as you must know, we're on Kirk's ship here, and before you go all Carrie on me, please know that to me the choice was either bring you up on the ship with me, or leave you unconscious on the ground in the Kinder Garten. I, of course, got Kirk's promise that he'd let you go to the surface if you wanted to, and he agreed to those conditions so you can leave with your blue friend that just ran down the hall, who he's also letting go. I'm going to be staying up here for a bit, because the whole reason I even approached the guy in the first place was to see some cool alien tech which I now can. I might come back down to earth after I've satisfied my curiosity . . . I might not."

Reggie hoped that the little gem wouldn't stay mad at him for what he did, or that he'd be staying up here, but this was the chance of a lifetime here. Picking up his bag and gesturing to Chromite, he continued his little explanation. "You can go with your friend back down to Earth anytime you please, but you could also stay up here as well. You don't have too, but I'd appreciate someone up here that wasn't older than most of humanity were up here." He chuckled a little and tried to keep it sounding light, but it was clear that even if he wanted to be up here, he didn't want to be left alone with Blood and Chrome. Not because he didn't like them, but because he didn't feel like he could really talk to them, given how he's only lived a fraction of their lives.

Johnny took Gilles rejection smoothly, beer wasn't for everybody. Listening to Gilles talk for a bit, Johnny gave a small frown at the put down he gave to himself. "Born loser?", he thought to himself. It was one thing for Johnny to be sad but for someone to put themselves down for his benefit, that just didn't sit right for him. He was about to speak up when another voice joined in, asking for a light. He wasn't going to burn anothe one for awhile, why not? Taking one out of the small box, Johnny handed it over to the man, "Knock yourself out man."

His attention back on Gilles, Johnny stretched before continuing with his train of though from earlier. "Gilles was it? I appreciate the talk but don't put yourself down on my account, I just had recollect you know? It isn't everyday you almost die you know? Anyway, I have to go and meet up with some friends...see if they got through this ok. I'll see you around Gilles, I think I'll be staying around here longer than I thought I would."
