(If your character is not in MOHs town then this post doesn't apply to you,but feel free to read along)

Hours had passed since azurite decided to not touch the strange platform, he had came across a road and began to follow it, a little while later he spotted a sign"you are now entering MOHs town, what an odd name for location"he said as he began to head towards this MOHs town the sign mentioned.

Moments later he found that many people like him were calling this place home(there are more of, whatever I am?)

Aquamarine opened her mouth to reply to Spinel's question but closed it as she quickly remember that no matter what she said that is would be untranslatable for the clear gem. She frowned, wanting to shake her head but that would just scare the young gem because she couldn't explain that while yes, she couldn't heal herself didn't mean that there weren't other ways of healing. She did after all know where Rose Quartz sacred fountain was that flowed with her healing tears and it would do in a pinch. Luckily, Bloodstone managed to answer for her though she wasn't quite sure why he looked so awkward for a second afterwards which made her tilt her head in confusion and look towards the vial of sparkling water that he had removed from his hoodie. Her gaze moved from the vial to Bloodstone's face, trying to look into the other's eyes so she could read him but he was fidgeting too much and wouldn't really look at her.
What in stars is making him so awkward? What is in that vial exactly?
Her curiosity was peeked, that was for sure but she was also leery about the whole thing since Blood had said they were enemies. Why did he keep playing nice? What was he thinking? She was so confused when he was near. If he was just cruel to her or even stayed away from her than she could continue to be his perfect enemy but then he did this and it pulled up the past. She then remembered the horrible thing he said to her before she was in her gem for a thousand years and she blocked it away to listen to the now.

Aqua's eyes widened as he spoke of what was in the vial and suddenly understood why it was awkward. Blood was forced to carry a part of her with him always so that his side could heal. He had made her old room on the ship into a healing fountain...she didn't know how to feel about that. Actually, she was surprised that he even kept her old room....wouldn't it be better to get rid of everything that had to do with her? She pushed that feeling aside, feeling so many conflicted questions that she couldn't say or ask.
He was right, she didn't trust him but at least he cared enough to heal her...no...he cared enough about the young gems not to harm them more than necessary by having no guidance and losing another person important to them. He placed a drop of the water on her gem before she had even a small chance to reject and felt her body instantly shift and heal itself back to her normal form. Once she had, Blood had made for the warp pad fast and was ready to leave but that last look behind him made it impossible not to speak up now that she could do so.

"Blood, wait!", Aquamarine called, moving over to the warp pad quickly and pushed back her other emotions. She had a straight face, being a leader this time in front of him instead of a mess and held out her hand towards Blood for a hand shake,"Thank you. This doesn't mean I trust you and we both know this doesn't change anything but you didn't have to come here and try to comfort the others. You didn't have to heal me either so I give you my thanks."

Blood was certain no one would even acknowledge what he had said. Zircon's nod gave him some hope but before he was about to turn around Aqua came up to him and thanked him. He was happy at first but then he realized she called him Blood. It was kind of hypocritical based off what she had said earlier.

"It's Aquamarine to you."

Something like that, it irritated him. "That's Bloodstone to you now." Blood stared at her for a second, looking at her reaction before losing his cool and laughing. "I'm kidding, but don't forget I killed that corrupted gem as well. I didn't have to do any of that. I did because I'm not a bad person but I am someone who will do anything for the people that by my side, even if it meant taking out my previous allies. I would never turn on them." He turned around and walked towards the warp pad. "But that's the past, these newborns are the future. I want a future that benefits them and our kind. If what benefits them is you then I have no choice but to keep you alive, at least until they learn the truth about everything. Now I can go and never come back or I can stay and teach these gems what you can't, how to properly use and strengthen their powers, so that they can be stronger. Besides if they do fight against me some day, I'd rather have a challenge than a massacre. The choice is yours." Blood held out his hand to her, offering the handshake that he unintentionally turned down.

"That's Bloodstone to you now."

Aquamarine was a little taken back and stunned for a second, letting her hand drop down limp by her side as she brows furrowed in confusion. She hadn't realized the slip up for a second, that she had called him Blood and not Bloodstone as she promised she would since the moment she had told the other a month ago not to call her Aqua. Her words ringing in her head suddenly caused her to blush and pout as Blood laughed at her expense, losing the cool he had been keeping as a mask and probably one he just put up to mess with her. She felt a wave of sadness as he spoke of the corrupted gem, remembering Howlite's terrified eye peering between her gray fingers right before she shattered. That image would continue to haunt her for a long time but at least Bloodstone had saved the other gems from having to fight but that small warmth she felt as he spoke suddenly stalled as he spoke his last words.

The churn of anger boiled slowly at what he had just implied, knowing or not, that he had yet again stated in some way that he would never turn on them but implied that she would. Aqua quickly shook it off, trying to stay positive and not cause a scene since it could be nothing after all. She watched him turn around, continuing his walk towards the warp pad as he had planned earlier and figured that he wanted to leave as soon as possible. She was a little surprised that Blood continued to speak with her and talking about how these newborns were the future. She wanted a future that benefited them as well but what would do that is letting them live their own lives as they choose.

Aquamarine felt as if someone had stabbed her as he spoke his next words, her arms subconsciously crossing to hug where the white ribbon on her body was. Now she knew why he had let her live more than once and why he had been nice to her on more than one occasion so far. The young newborns wanted her and until they wanted him, she had a purpose for being alive and once he taught them what they needed to know or what he thought was everything they needed to know then she would be disposable. She should have known that, they were enemies after all but it hurt none the least to hear him say it. If that had been the worse of it than she probably would have been fine but each word he spoke did more harm to her fragile emotional state than he could realize. She understood that he would know a good deal she didn't information wise but the second it switched to strength that is when the pain and anger increase by the second making her emotional state worse. Use their powers? Strengthen their powers? That is what he meant by teach them things you can't? Not knowledge like she thought but insulting her! If she taught them their power then she would make them weak is what he was saying. That she would make them easy to destroy in any future battle. She had shaded her eyes long before he offered his hand out to her, now offering for the hand shake he all but refused earlier.

It started out as a giggle and before she could control herself, she was full on laughing as tears streaked down her faces and still holding herself with her head tilted down. Aqua's head popped up but her eyes were a dark glare with a stream of tears and her held back always in check anger flared as she spoke sarcastically,"I am glad to see not everything changes." Ice sharply snapped around her with every word, subconsciously keeping it away from the newborns in the room. "You still don't think I am strong. You still see me as nothing but pathetic, needing you to be stronger cause I am that much weaker... Well, I am not weak...They are not weak. I believe in them and I know that I can teach the their powers. Besides, I wouldn't want to bring you down again as you so elegantly put it before slicing me in two." she said harshly, her words cold and her eyes full of fury at the insults she had suffered about not being good enough.
Why am I never good enough for you?...

Blood listened to Aqua complained about him insulting her, he never meant any insults at all. Then she went on to threaten him with her ice powers. He was done. "You fucking idiot!" Bloodstone's rage increased as Aqua got on his case, which only cleared his mind and made him focus better on the situation. "Don't you know by now that I ramble on and say stupid stuff when I'm trying to be nice! I never said that you were weak, I think you are very strong. I knew that you never needed me, sorry if I hoped you wanted me...." Bloodstone stopped and thought about what he just said and decided to ignore it and get his thoughts back on track, "These newborns, on the otherhand, are not strong at least not yet. Personally, I think that you are much better than me when it comes to weapons, I can't even fuse weapons when I fuse with gems, but I am much better in powers and you know it. For these gems to be strong enough to make it in whatever world they choose, which we both want, they need to know how to do both. If we both train them then it's likely they'll surpass us at some point." Blood stepped forward, his footsteps crackling with electricity, and got right in Aqua's face. "And if you think that your little ice crystals scare me then you don't know me at ALL!" The word 'all' left his lips, thundering forward and knocking back anybody who wasn't prepared for it. Blood regained his composure and stood up straight. "Sorry, my anger got the better of me."
Why is everyone always so much better than me to you? ...

It was an interesting revelation, for sure. Sodalite wanted to rush back into her room to research the behavior between Bloodstone and Aquamarine, but she felt like she needed to be there a little longer. With her notepad out, Sodalite wrote down the interactions between the two. She already had a few diagnose, diagnoses? Diagnosises? She was unsure of the correct way to pluralize the word, but that mattered little. Slowly, she began to wander back to her room, hoping to learn what was going on between the two.

Before Candice could even react, Mars had darted off towards the orange gem, and she gasped loudly as he suddenly attacked. She was glad that the building that had gone down was one that was still in repair and had no one inside, but still, she couldn't let him continue this! With this attack, not only were people being placed in danger again, but the gems in that temple may not be willing to talk to them and she would lose her chance for reconnaissance!

After a familiar green gem (from her surveillance a month ago), Emerald, appeared and stood in front of Mars, she called out as she sprinted towards the two gems "MARS!" She managed to get in between the two gems and she turned her back on Emerald to face Mars, with her arms outstretched protectively. She attempted to convince him to stop, "Mars! Stop! That was one of the gems you wanted to talk to and ask questions!" She hoped that he could see why he needed to stop, otherwise she would have to try and fight him in order to protect the town. If she did have to fight him...well, thankfully she knew where to strike and she has years of combat expertise under her belt as well.

Spinel smiled at Zircon in appreciation, it looked like she'd wanted to help. "If we don't have any other takers, I'd would like to take Bloodstone up on his offer." Spinel said. "I think I have a good grip on using my bow, and I'm not bad at using my invisibility, but if he thinks he can show me more he's welcome to try."

Gilles Laurent

A grin spread across Gilles's face, seeing that his words had somewhat cheered up the little green gem.

"No problem, kidd-"

Screaming. The manchild's voice cut off immediately. Screaming?

"Don't follow me, I think they're mad!"

But how could he not follow him, especially after he was told not to? He looked around the forest floor and picked up a decently sized and broad stick, something that could pass for a makeshift bat if one could properly carve a handle into it. Picking it up and dropping his carrier (he couldn't have that slow him down), he dashed after Emerald, his grin wider than before, "Don't follow you? Think they're mad? No one's more mad than me, Emerald! I'm sorry, but I'm following you!"

While he continued to run, he breathed in the strange smell of smoke. Not cigar smoke, smoke that one would smell from burning coal and wood, and some weird medicinal smell he couldn't recognise but definitely didn't like.

"Besides," he continued, his voice casual to the point of being scary, "I think the forest might kind of sort of be on fire."

Welp, there goes your footage. Too late to go back now.

When he had caught up, he found quite the sight. Amber crashed through a building, Emerald apparently having formed a wall of rock and threatening one of the many gems he hadn't seen before, this one having a color scheme right out of character design hell, another gem he didn't know, this one purple and quite confused, and the last one he didn't recognise a gray one, something right out of a stereotypical fantasy RPG in Gilles's mind. Lastly, there was the human he didn't recognise, and Johnny and Chuck thrown into the equation. He had no idea what was going on, but figured asking wouldn't do him much good. So he, eyes wide with excitement, joined Emerald's side, his stick held firmly. He knew that he wouldn't stand a chance, but that didn't stop him. Besides, perhaps this gem was a newborn, which explained why no one seemed to recognise him, and would back away from all the confrontation.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Evenkite
"Neither of you," she breathed, a puff of smoke escaping her mouth as she spoke in that dead, dead voice of hers, "Are helping."
Eve let out a sigh, the smoke from her mouth now joining that of the steadily rising smoke which dance at her fingertips. Too done with everything to even feel shock at the sudden reveal of another power. She expected things to most likely go badly upon her return, doubted that anyone would take her presence kindly, but she didn't expect it to end up like this. On her heels once more with her arms hanging limply by her sides, she spoke:
"We came here to make amends. We've only made things worse. Chromite, I apologize for Reggie's behavoir. Reggie, I apologize for Amber's behavior. Amber, I apologize for my behavior. I want to stay here and try to sort things out, I don't in any way want to leave, but like the mature and responsible gem I've failed to be this past month, I am going to isolate myself from this situation, because I acknowledge that it's beyond my capabilities and that I should stop before I make things any worse both for and between you three than need be. I hope you all can do the same until we've all come to the realisation that throwing our anger and frustration at one another will not do us any good. I'm going to find the temple, and I ask that neither of you follow me."
There was so much more she wanted to say, but she dared not speak of them. Enough had already been said and enough harm had come out of speaking. Without another word or even a glance backwards, she turned away, the wind blowing the fumes towards the forest, and she, their producer, following them, the sickening combination of witch hazel and burning coal beginning to fade away as she left.
As she began to walk, slowly but surely, away, she came to a stop.
Screaming.
Not your problem.
She continued on, kicked at a stone with her left heel as she passed by, as if tempting fate, even if just slightly, with her gemstone. Then she stopped again.
Crashing.
Still not your problem.
The smoke was beginning to die down now as her sense of emotions rose once more. None of them pleasant, but they were there. And all because of one voice she was hoping she wouldn't have to hear from in a long, long time.
...Emerald?
Can't deny that one.
Another huff, this one as smokeless as the air now surrounding her, and Eve continued her way back. Her slow and dragging pace was now replaced by her usual one, only much, much more frantic and quick, nearly tripping over once or twice as she ran much quicker than one with such short legs should be able to. She could hardly believe her eyes. Amber had been knocked into a building, a gem whom she had never met (another newborn?) seemed to be ready to attack Emerald and some human, the latter of which was wielding...A stick. If it weren't for her haste and worry she'd probably facepalm at the sight. What an idiot. No matter which way she looked at it, the situation was bad, and though she was sure the others would probably be fine handling it themselves, there was no way she could leave Amber like that. Besides, if she was wrong, she'd have abandoned them once again.
If someone died again, she wouldn't have been there to even try and stop it.
Now once again with the others, Eve joined Emerald and Gille's side in front of Amber, though unlike the two boys she held no weapon, tried in no way to harm him, her eyes unglowing and her unclenched hands by her sides. She suppressed the urge to fling him into the air and take her frustrations out on him, yelling and scorning him, threatening him for even having layed a finger on Amber, and then drop him once she was done. There was no way she was repeating that mistake unless absolutely necessary, no way she was going to faint here when Amber needed her. Besides, that would only further provoke him. And so with her voice calm and cool, with no hint of anger, aggression, or hostility, she spoke once more, her hands now in front of Emerald and Gilles, as if telling them to hold back:
"Newborn, you most likely will not understand what I am about to say or why I am telling you this, but you must stop this at once. There are humans here. A fight between you two -a fight which shouldn't be taking place nonetheless- could result in casualties, or worse. Please. I am only going to give you one chance. Stop and apologize now, before we both do something we regret. Before this becomes anymore violent.
...Before someone else ends up dying."
Amber gritted his teeth at the humans response, this guy had the audacity walk up to him, call him a coward, but then go slink his way behind others and laugh at him. Amber had never thought about hurting a human, but at the moment he was considering punting this guy into the next town over. The giant Gem resisted the urge to stomp his foot again, he didn't want to cause another crater in the road, and was about to walk off when the other Gem that accompanied the human spoke up. Amber stared down the other Gem that had just threatened him, at the moment he was far too gone into his emotions to care to find out who she was. "Listen here lass. I 'ave no ill will towards yo', but if yo' come at me I'll 'ave no problem sealing yo' inside of that little tin can of yer's." He said, pointing his large finger down at the other Gem. He listened to what Eve had to say and like her was about to walk off when all of a sudden something, or rather someone, appeared in front of him and the next thing the Gem knew he found himself sailing backwards and crashing into a building. "What the bloody hell..." Amber mumbled as the dust and debris of the half repaired building. He laid there for a few moments as he tried to gather his thoughts and figure out what exactly just happened to him. He heard some rustling and murmurs of others outside of the hole he just created in the wall. A few of the voices were familiar, he recognized Emerald's immediately but the other one he wasn't sure about, was that a human? The other voice he recognized was Eve's he half believed he must of gone crazy because he doubted she would come back for him. Then it dawned on him, he had just been hit... He had just been hit! The thought boomed in his head as his anger began to come to a boil. With a near deafening yell Amber exploded from the wreckage that had piled on top of him. He paid almost no mind to the sight and the people in front of him, save for the one Gem that was rushing towards him, that had to be the one that hit him. Amber outstretched his massive hand and caught the Gem that knocked him through the wall moments ago by the neck, stopping him dead in his tracks. "YO' STUPID SOD FOR BRAINS!" He shouted at the gem, his grip tightening. The steam and heat around him grew to dangerously high levels to the point that the ground under his feet started to scorch. Everything in Amber told him to lay into this idiot, bash his face and then break him in half. The only thing that held him back were the others around him, he couldn't risk them getting hurt. His already unimaginably tight grip around the Gem's neck tightened even more for a moment before Amber sneered and released the Gem, causing him to fall to the ground in front Amber and the others. "Get the hell away from here now." Amber said in a literally growl through gritted teeth as he leered at the Gem before him.
Chromite rushed over and put herself between Amber and Mars and thrust her arms out, forcing them away from each other. She turned to Mars and said "That was an awfully cheap shot just now, and it seems like you could have made much better use of it if you'd actually intended to hurt him. Shall I assume you're new at this? Either way, while nothing either of you do is really my concern, you're about to start a destructive conflict just near a fragile gem and a human I'm sworn to protect, and said gem wanted to have a word with the one you just tried to kill.
Chuck was panicking. He didn't want for all of these gems to weak havoc in his town, and he would not stand for it. He knew it was a dangerous game to get in their way, but it was for the town. Quickly, the man took several steps forward. "Gems, gems! Please, no fighting! If it's unavoidable, please fight outside the town. I can't stress it enough that the town will grow to dislike you if you damage their homes." He tried his best to calm them down.
The Mayor looked at Amber, who was seething with rage at the moment. "Amber, big guy. Please, this isn't the way to go about it."
Mars
Emerald's wall did nothing to stop Mars' from charging, itmactually egged him on, but when Candice stepped in front of him, he skidded to a halt, taking a moment to look around at thise present and listen to what they were saying. The glow in his eyes died down as his sense of reason came back to him, a pondering, somewhat confused look on his face
" . . . . Is what I'm doing like touching your chest, something shouldn't d-" Before he coukd finish, Amber came in with a roar, grabbing him by the neck and giving him a none to friendly look. The orange gem's hostility would be met by passive indifference, though it woukd turn into discomfort and irritation as he found the grip on his neck to be rather unpleasant. When Amber threw him down, Mars simply got back up and dusted himself off, ignoring Chromite's and interruption as he looked over the various people's in attendance.
"No, I don't think I'll be going anywhere, though it'd be interestung to see you try and make me. I'm sure we would've had more fun if people hadn't gotten in the way, but oh well." Mars shrugged, ignoring Chromite entirely as he walked over to Emerald, poking at the stone hand he made with his ability. So this must be one of those special powers Candice talked about . . .cool.
Mars attention then turned to Eve, who caused his to widen slightly as he took in her appearance. He crouched down next to her, obviously bothered by how differently sized they were. He gotten that beings could be smaller . . . but nit this much smaller.
"Is there something wrong with you? Why are you so tiny?"
Reggie
Reggie had been shocked by the series of events, his gundrawn and pointed st the new gem, but as he had calmed down, he ceased to actively target him, though he kept it at the ready in case he(or Amber) got violent again.
"I'm guessing he's new, huh?" Reggie asked his question directed at Candice, who seemed to know the new gem.
Emerald witnessed these events, watching them fold out and preparing to attack. And he would've, if Mars hadn't stopped fighting. With a sigh, he dropped the giant and heavy (for him) stone hand onto the floor, the hand crashing through a few feet of dirt as a result. He had watched Mars ask Eve something about why she was so tiny, and he decided to answer before Eve....or someone else. "I guess she just....is. We're just different heights. To us, you look abnormally tall. I could ask the same of you."
Candice was relieved that Mars had skidded to a stop when she stood in front of him, and she was about to answer his question (ignoring the fact that he mentioned that he touched her chest), when suddenly Amber grabbed him by the throat. Before she could even shout at the orange gem, he already threw Mars to the ground. She was glad that he just simply stood up, unfazed, but she still looked at Mars' neck in concern, trying to see if there was any noticeable mark there.
Everything seemed to be okay when he just simply poked at Emerald's stone hand before it fell off. She face palmed at Mars' question towards Eve. When Reggie spoke up, she looked to him and noticed his gun. She answered him wary of the weapon he held, memories of her previous missions bubbled to her mind, "Yes, he is. And he has a lot of questions. Can you please put away your gun?"
She then looked to the others that had gathered around them, including Mayor Coss, and she said to all of them sincerely, "I'm so sorry about that,"
She then looked to Amber and simply stated to him, before continuing, "It's my fault Mars struck you. Mars and I were honestly just on our way to the temple so we could talk to you and the other gems there. He has a lot of questions regarding Gems that I can't answer,"
She then looked to Mars and she said to him "We'll talk about the fighting later. Mars, how is your neck?"
Mars
"Hmmm, I guess you're right . . . what's your name? My name's Mars . . . well technically I think it's supposed to be Marra Mamba, but I prefer Mars." As he spoke, Mars couldn.t stop himself from petting Eve's hair, his eyes wide as he mouthed the words 'so soft', before his attention was drawn away from the amazingness that was Eve's hair by Candice. He rolled his shoulders a bit, flinching slightly from the pain the action brought him. The area was definitely sore, but nothing that Mars couldn't handle.
"Eh, I'm fine, but I don't get some of the things the Tiny gem was talking about. What did they mean by 'Casulties' and 'dying', and what does that have to do with the fun thing I was doing. You called it . . .fighting yes, that was felt really good, can I do it again? I want to finish fighting the big guy. Oh, and what is that thing in that human's hand?"
Reggie
"I can see," Reggie said in response to Candice's answer, before he decided to hokster his weapon. He didn't close theholster, however, incase something(or someone) else decided to go crazy again. "That's a gun, Mars, it's a type of weapon we humans use, and it's a pretty awesome one if I do say so myself."
Reggie spoke with a slight chuckle, Mars' antics lightening his mood a little. He took a seat somewhere in the area, taking advantage of the current light-hearted mood to calm himself down. He'd made quite the fool of himself, to be sure, but he knew when it was needed to cool one's head. He was still pissed off about Amber's cowardice and dramatic whining, but he tried to purge that from his mind for now so he didn't do something he might regret. Looking over at Chromite, he decided that some conversation on the new arrival would be a great way to take his mind of things.
"So Joan, wnat do yiu think about this new guy? Think he'll be neutral, a Crystal Gem, or join you guys. If he's goung up into the ship, than I pity the hell out of him, because I don't think he's one to respect authority."
Aquamarine's anger dwindled down a bit when Bloodstone spoke of her never needing him but hoping that she wanted him. Had he really thought she never wanted him? She wanted to speak up but she would be lying if she said she wasn't a bit stunned that he couldn't see how much she had wanted him by her side. She was going to ask him to leave with her, stay by her side because she had wanted to be with him even though she knew the chances were slim to impossible but he never gave her that chance. All it took was saying that she was planning to join Rose and the reasons she wanted too but he had thrown her away before she even got to ask if he would come with because his answer to her leaving had been clear. She didn't think about the fact he didn't want her by his side. Now that he had said the words contrary to what she had thought even in some fashion she wasn't quite sure how to respond.
She knew he was stronger in powers as she was stronger in weapons but she wasn't completely weak in the other either. Aqua couldn't let her feelings for Blood cloud her judgement. Yes, he could greatly make the younger gems stronger but when you train another you learn things about them. Where they lack and where their weak points are...
Blood stepped forward, pulling her out of her thoughts quickly as her protective instincts started kicking in and her determination had her stepping forward to meet him. Showing no fear as she got right back in his face. Thick walls of ice blocked the young gems in the room, fearing for their safety since Blood's sparks were already flying and she was braced for what Bloodstone might do where the others would not be. The ice curled around her feet, helping her brace as she slid a bit from the thundering. She had thought they were going to fight for a moment, a battle being the last thing she could handle right now...at least not a battle with him.
She sighed in relief that they would not be fighting before looking over at Spinel as she spoke before looking back at Blood. "I want the young gems to be stronger. You more than me have a great handle on your powers and have had more time to strengthen yourself...however, do you still plan to be our enemy? When you fight someone, when you teach someone, you find out where they are lacking and what weak points can make them foolish or what weak points to hit. If you plan to stand up and fight against all of us in the future than I have to decline your offer...no matter how much I want..." Aqua stopped herself from speaking the rest of her sentence, not feeling she had no right to state her emotions to him.
No matter how much I want the feeling of having you by my side again...
"I've trained alongside you, I've fought alongside you, and we've been side by side since our creation. Yet, you have never found any of my weakpoints; I think I'll be fine. And I don't intend to fight all of you in the future, just the ones that stand in my way. I know how to survive no matter the circumstances and I have a few tricks up my sleeve that you haven't seen yet. And since when do you care if I'm put at a disadvantage?"" Bloodstone walks over to Spinel and nods towards her before turning back to Aqua, "See, she gets it. Besides, what do you have to lose?" Bloodstone then walked back over and placed his hand on Aqua's shoulder before looking into her eyes with his usual smug look on his face, "And even though you are a much better weapons user, I can teach it even more so. But then again, you don't know about that yet, do you?" He then backed up and drew from his gem Aqua's harpoon, except the pole and chain were black and the blade a crimson red. Blood threw the harpoon into the wall, making sure to pick a direction where no one was standing. "I've made up for my weakness in weapons by learning how to use all of them. As long as I can see a gem's weapon I can summon it, sometimes with fusions too. Your weapon is so implanted in my brain that I just have to envision it. I could train the newborns by showing them how to use their weapons in general, instead of just in the middle of combat." Blood smirked and could see he had surprised Aqua, "The point is, if the gems decide to fight against me or you or the corrupted gems or Home-World or whatever they decide to fight against, they are going to need both of us to make them strong enough for that. You really have no choice if you want them to survive. So what do you say, temporary truce?"
It was literally taking all of Amber's will power to keep himself on pouncing on this Gem before him, and it may have been a losing battle if mayor Chuck didn't come up to him and talked to him. He was right, this was not the right thing to do, fighting this Gem here wouldn't get him anything but more people he didn't want hurt. Gritting his teeth Amber walked past the group that had gathered and started to head in the direction he was before all of this started. As he walked he left scorched foot prints in his wake, it seemed like he wasn't going to cool off anytime soon. Amber muttered under his breath as he moved further and further away from the group, most of the language he used was less than... "family appropriate". Eventually the mumbling stopped and turned into deep breaths and eventually one big huff that was consisted of a small burst of flames. Despite him literally breathing fire Amber continued walking, either he didn't notice the burst or he simply didn't care about it at the moment.
Spinel
Spinel smiled just a little at Bloodstone's acknowledgement of her. She may not have been able to feel much, but she felt something like pride in that moment. She felt a little more uncertain as he went on. "It's... unlikely that I'll ever take a job if that job involves trying to hurt Aquamarine. However, I would still be honored to train with you." Using the word 'honored' felt a little strange to Spinel. It wasn't that she was lying, exactly, but she had to real idea what honor was. It just seemed like the right thing to say.
Chromite
Chromite gave the Mayor a respectful nod. Clearly, she thought, this man was a cut above the other humans she'd met. "If he has any intention of joining us, I imagine he'll learn a thing or two about respect fairly quick. Commander Bloodstone and I have our ways like that. she said in response to Reggie. She approached Amber and gave him the most sympathetic look she could. "Would I be right in assuming this is the first time you've lost someone, then? Please don't listen to my companion here, you're handling it as well as you could be expected to, and there's nothing wrong with caring a great deal about your comrades. You may not be able to see it now, but this will make you stronger."
