Gilles Laurent
A grin spread across Gilles's face, seeing that his words had somewhat cheered up the little green gem.
"No problem, kidd-"Screaming. The manchild's voice cut off immediately. Screaming?
"Don't follow me, I think they're mad!"But how could he
not follow him, especially after he was told not to? He looked around the forest floor and picked up a decently sized and broad stick, something that could pass for a makeshift bat if one could properly carve a handle into it. Picking it up and dropping his carrier (he couldn't have that slow him down), he dashed after Emerald, his grin wider than before,
"Don't follow you? Think they're mad? No one's more mad than me, Emerald! I'm sorry, but I'm following you!"While he continued to run, he breathed in the strange smell of smoke. Not cigar smoke, smoke that one would smell from burning coal and wood, and some weird medicinal smell he couldn't recognise but definitely didn't like.
"Besides," he continued, his voice casual to the point of being scary,
"I think the forest might kind of sort of be on fire."
Welp, there goes your footage. Too late to go back now. When he had caught up, he found quite the sight. Amber crashed through a building, Emerald apparently having formed a wall of rock and threatening one of the many gems he hadn't seen before, this one having a color scheme right out of character design hell, another gem he didn't know, this one purple and quite confused, and the last one he didn't recognise a gray one, something right out of a stereotypical fantasy RPG in Gilles's mind. Lastly, there was the human he didn't recognise, and Johnny and Chuck thrown into the equation. He had no idea what was going on, but figured asking wouldn't do him much good. So he, eyes wide with excitement, joined Emerald's side, his stick held firmly. He knew that he wouldn't stand a chance, but that didn't stop him. Besides, perhaps this gem was a newborn, which explained why no one seemed to recognise him, and would back away from all the confrontation.

Evenkite
"Neither of you," she breathed, a puff of smoke escaping her mouth as she spoke in that dead, dead voice of hers,
"Are helping."Eve let out a sigh, the smoke from her mouth now joining that of the steadily rising smoke which dance at her fingertips. Too done with everything to even feel shock at the sudden reveal of another power. She expected things to most likely go badly upon her return, doubted that anyone would take her presence kindly, but she didn't expect it to end up like this. On her heels once more with her arms hanging limply by her sides, she spoke:
"We came here to make amends. We've only made things worse. Chromite, I apologize for Reggie's behavoir. Reggie, I apologize for Amber's behavior. Amber, I apologize for my behavior. I want to stay here and try to sort things out, I don't in any way want to leave, but like the mature and responsible gem I've failed to be this past month, I am going to isolate myself from this situation, because I acknowledge that it's beyond my capabilities and that I should stop before I make things any worse both for and between you three than need be. I hope you all can do the same until we've all come to the realisation that throwing our anger and frustration at one another will not do us any good. I'm going to find the temple, and I ask that neither of you follow me."There was so much more she wanted to say, but she dared not speak of them. Enough had already been said and enough harm had come out of speaking. Without another word or even a glance backwards, she turned away, the wind blowing the fumes towards the forest, and she, their producer, following them, the sickening combination of witch hazel and burning coal beginning to fade away as she left.
As she began to walk, slowly but surely, away, she came to a stop.
Screaming.
Not your problem. She continued on, kicked at a stone with her left heel as she passed by, as if tempting fate, even if just slightly, with her gemstone. Then she stopped again.
Crashing.
Still not your problem. The smoke was beginning to die down now as her sense of emotions rose once more. None of them pleasant, but they were there. And all because of one voice she was hoping she wouldn't have to hear from in a long, long time.
...Emerald?
Can't deny that one.Another huff, this one as smokeless as the air now surrounding her, and Eve continued her way back. Her slow and dragging pace was now replaced by her usual one, only much, much more frantic and quick, nearly tripping over once or twice as she ran much quicker than one with such short legs should be able to. She could hardly believe her eyes. Amber had been knocked into a building, a gem whom she had never met (another newborn?) seemed to be ready to attack Emerald and some human, the latter of which was wielding...A stick. If it weren't for her haste and worry she'd probably facepalm at the sight.
What an idiot. No matter which way she looked at it, the situation was bad, and though she was sure the others would probably be fine handling it themselves, there was no way she could leave Amber like that. Besides, if she was wrong, she'd have abandoned them once again.
If someone died again, she wouldn't have been there to even try and stop it.
Now once again with the others, Eve joined Emerald and Gille's side in front of Amber, though unlike the two boys she held no weapon, tried in no way to harm him, her eyes unglowing and her unclenched hands by her sides. She suppressed the urge to fling him into the air and take her frustrations out on him, yelling and scorning him, threatening him for even having layed a finger on Amber, and then drop him once she was done. There was no way she was repeating that mistake unless absolutely necessary, no way she was going to faint here when Amber needed her. Besides, that would only further provoke him. And so with her voice calm and cool, with no hint of anger, aggression, or hostility, she spoke once more, her hands now in front of Emerald and Gilles, as if telling them to hold back:
"Newborn, you most likely will not understand what I am about to say or why I am telling you this, but you must stop this at once. There are humans here. A fight between you two -a fight which shouldn't be taking place nonetheless- could result in casualties, or worse. Please. I am only going to give you one chance. Stop and apologize now, before we both do something we regret. Before this becomes anymore violent.
...Before someone else ends up dying."
