"It's been what... Decades? Thirty years since the last big scare like this?" The figure on the right of the screen spoke to her partner, her sparkling blue eyes focused on the man beside her.

"That's right, Jen. Thirty-some years since the tragedy at the Choice One Safehouse. Ever since then, all of these powered people were ordered to drop the masks and fade into society." Jen's partner sighed. It was really a rough number of years for the world after the massacre of people at the Choice One Bank Safe deposit at the hands of Alpha, one of the violent villains ever to grace the face of the earth. With the amounts of money he stole, he erased himself from the world and started anew. He watched in the shadows as people turned their backs on the men and women who were tasked with saving them. Fights, riots, violence tore through every street as people insisted for there to be no more powered people. Eventually, they won, and the powered people hung their masks and capes and became every day people. They didn't use their powers, and started new lives, or continued the ones that they already had as a civilian.

Now, days after another scare involving powered people, the son of Alpha, dubbed Meta, made his debut appearance. This caused Broadsword, the nemesis to Alpha, to come out of hiding. He, along with his family, stopped Meta from causing another massacre.

The media exploded. Aledged sightings of Powered People all over the place actively using their powers, some even dawning masks old and new.

With all of the new heroes abound, there were also villains who started making their marks on the world.

"And what's the government have to say about all of this? Surely they can't keep quiet for long, Hal." Jen asked somewhat rhetorically. She knew what the Government had to say, but it was new broadcasting, and such questions were necessary.

Hal sighed once more, his eyes glancing down to his oxford shoes. "The Government stated that they are already on top of the situation, and will be lifting the laws associated with Powered People. There's even a rumor that some G-men are going around and picking up Powered People for a team of sorts to avert any more crises like the Alpha and Meta ones. Protect Pantheon, I think they said in a very brief interview.

We'll be seeing a lot more of them soon."

@AkayaofthemoonYeah, after Pathfinder advertised his own RP, I got a few ideas. It eventually spiraled into something taking elements from X-men, Incredibles, and the Avengers.

Probably XD I mean Spinel made it seem really bad but from far way it would look as such.

Reggie agreeing to go on Bloodstones ship looks bad enough without Eve being Gemnapped

Sodalite being on the ship would scare and upset her.

The only bad thing is that, from what I have seen. You have to know exactly where you are going to wrap there. Like you would have had to been there before or at least that is what it looks like to me. Unless something thinks different and wants Aqua to be able to go than she might not be able too do anything

@Akayaofthemoon Looking back at it Spinel wouldn't have actually seen him put her in the bag, but she should have seen Reggie with Eve in a bag and Sodalite trying to grab her back from him. Spinel knows that Sodalite is one of Evenkite's more well-liked members of the group and they don't really know Reggie. She also knows that Evenkite isn't trusting of new people to begin with and probably wouldn't have willingly been brought on Bloodstone's ship.

When Reggie goes to say hi at the temple one of these days, he's gonna get freakin' mirdered cause everyone will be like "YOu kidnapped Eve!", and he'll be like "No I didn't!" and so on and so forth. Could be funny, could be tense, depends on how we roll with it and if Aquafina get's involved. If she does, Reggie's screwed.

Eve furiously defending Reggie and threatening to hurt anyone who even lays a hand on him.

This is assuming Eve actually joins the Crystal Gems. This who experience is going to mess with Eve's thoughts on Bloodstone AND Aquamarine equally if how events have played out so far are any indication, and Eve could go a very, very long time without choosing alliances at this point. And I'm sorry to say, but after this event she might actually be more inclined to join Bloodstone than Aquamarine, assuming he goes easy on Sodalite. If not Bloodstone's going back to square one in Eve's eyes.

Reggie: You almost harpooned me!What did I do? I thought you said you wouldn't glare at me like that anymore...

Aqua: That was before you stole Eve and went on Bloodstone's ship with her which also put not only her in danger but Sodalite! Now. Get. Out. Before. I. Make. You.

Reggie: I didn't steal her! She was about to pass out and needed rest so I put her in my bag! Is that a crime?

Aqua: If it involves Bloodstone's ship than maybe

Reggie: I just...WAIT NO MORE HARPOONS!

Naw but in all seriousness. Aqua wouldn't harm a human. She actually likes them but she might pick him up, place him on the other side of the front door and shut it

lol XD she would only scare him a bit. She would never harm him. It is not her way. Plus she might be so mad that harpoons might not be an option for her since her power like to not work well with anger.
