@LoonyI'm sure that she'll scoff at the idea of being Evenkite again, even going so far as to demand that people stop calling her that because she still believes that she's fordite.

A thought occurred to me. With all of these fusions, and Garnet explicitly stating that the gems would not be themselves while fused, it could be very easy for all of our gems to go insane with so many different personalities and essentially people inside their heads all at once.

It is probably why they said it is all about trust because you have to believe in each other and support each other or even personalities clash too much then all else falls apart. If they don't see eye to eye then everything collapses. This is probably the reason why it is tempting to get lost in the fusion because it is a positive experience. It would be torture otherwise, hence why the clusters are in pain. They are probably all clashing with each others and confused thus a bit insane sometimes like attacking

Exactly my point. It is a struggle when it is a forced like struggle and it causes insanity and pain.

The cluster are in pain because they are all clashing with no choice or hope of escape

Malachite has hope of splitting and so they are in a constant straining fight with one having to stay stronger. Lapis chose to lose herself in Malachite so that her emotions wouldn't get in the way to distract her. She chose to do that for Steven but even then we don't know what that truly did...

A good fusion is having everything in harmony (Stevonnie, Garnet) but even a good fusion if everything isn't in completely harmony it shows (Alexandrite, Opal, Sugilite) by the extra limbs and too many eyes. Rebacca stated that the oddities are because of instability. The more oddities the more unstable they are.

@Akayaofthemoon I do as well (apparently even in my sleep) but with surgery I felt my throat was bleh but now it's better. My mother doesn't speak a word of French so it's a challenge but at least she agrees this is the best version of the song, though we also like the German one quite a bit.

On that note, I've been thinking about gem-human fusions and how Reggieve would look like...Would gem-human fusions differ appearance-wise from normal gem-gem fusions? Would they still have junk because I find the idea of Evenkite explaining how it feels to fuse with a human and bringing up that without knowing exactly what it is hilarious because I'm immature as hell.

@Loony Well, from what we can tell with Stevonnie, Gem-Human fusions would look a lot more human as to be expected. But Reggie and Eve could never fuse as Greg sadly had to learn the hard way.
