Vanessa nodded and smiled. "Thanks" she whispered as he told her nothing was around. Or at least nothing but humans. When Xaven said he was going for the swing and kisses her, she kissed him back and laughed. "Show off!" She called out as he climbed up to the bank and walking into the forest. She giggled and saw how every other young women was looking at the swing.

Lesley giggled and let Drake catch her. She held on to him and looked in his eyes. "Don't worry, I won't make you dress up in something pink" she said and actually without hesitation she kissed him on his lips. It wasn't a small kiss like that afternoon but more a kiss to tell him that she wanted him to be hers. Lesley stopped the kiss as she heard Xaven call out and saw how he jumped from the swing into the water. "Yep, show off" she said and then smiled at Drake again.

Ralph would laugh as Vanessa called him a show off. "we all knew that, but really he does it so well.. and you got to admit, there isn't that many people around that can swing as good as he can" he said, looking around as people watched from the party up the ways, but mainly it was women turning to watch, oh if one of them came over it would not be pretty.. unless they came over for him, then it could be.

Drake caught her, smiling as he pulled her back as she spun around in his arms, and she looked into his eyes. "not worried about that, but if you wanted it, i would problem let me dress me up in Pink" he admitted, before she was kissing him, and certainly not some peck on the cheek either. his hand slid across her lower back as a low growl built up deep in his chest as he kissed her back. before laughing when she broke the kiss to see Xaven come barreling off the swing, and then he was airborne, doing his same old show off thing before he crashed into the water. "yea pretty much" Drake agreed with Lesley, holding her close as Xaven, under the water even knew where his female was and swam toward her, his hand sliding along her thigh as he swam around her, before he came up in front of her. "swing still works" he smiled

Vanessa followed Ralph's look at the crowd and kinda narrowed her eyes seeing most women had turned around to watch Xaven. "They better stay where they are" she whispered and it didn't sound very nice. When she felt Xaven his hand on her tight she tensed up a little at first but directly she knew it was him and she relaxed when he came from under the surface. "Yeah, I saw that. Show off" she said and giggled.

Lesley looked at him. "Oh I am sure that if I want to, I can make you wear a pink shirt or blouse" she said and giggled softly. Vanessa looked at Lesley and Drake. "I know for sure you can, only need to promise him another kiss like the one you gave him a minute ago" she said and saw Drake look at her. "Watch out Drake, I have leverage " she said as a joke and winked while laying a hand on Xaven his chest. Of course she meant that his alpha was hers so he wouldn't be able to do anything. Lesley shook her head and hugged Drake, laying her head on his bare chest "Wrap those strong arms around me again please" she whispered and smiled.

Ralph, hearing the whisper that came from Vanessa. "you keep eyeballing them like that, and they wont come over here at all" Ralph said, smirking as he swam around, sighing as he turned onto his back. Xaven wrapped his arms around Vanessa. "well its only fair, you were showing off in the bedroom so i had to show off here" he teased.

nodding Drake agreed. "probably, but go with yellow, pink takes away from my natural handsomeness" before he looked up at Vanessa, narrowing his eyes, before he watched her pat on Xaven's chest, who chuckled, grinning. "thats not fair" Drake said. "like, seriously" pulling the Alpha card out like that. but then Lesley drew his attention as he heard her request and his arms went around her tightly. "you got it" holding her. "i might throw up with all this lovey dove stuff, seriously" Ralph said. "be back im going to go sneak me like twenty hot dogs from the party down the beach" he was hungry so he waded out of the water, back up onto the bank, he walked off back down to the other party, they could cough up some food for sure. though Ralph stopped halfway, when the wind shifted and brought the scent to him that sent his hairs rising on the back of his neck, and instinctively made him growl as he turned. leaping out of a Black 4x4, two men, well built, muscular and with that air around them, but the driver of the Truck climbed out. he was short, about Ralph's height, but he held the air around him that Xaven had, which meant one thing.. Alpha. all of them had short black hair, and piercing eyes. Ralph pushed through people before he stood in front of them. the two growled a threat, pulling their lips up. "try it" Ralph said, growling back. "this is our land, get the hell off it" the Alpha just smirked, sniffing the air. "mm, thats what im smelling, weaklings" Ralph's eyes changed as he growled. "Weak, you want weak, how about i kick your ass"

Xaven came up, placing a hand on Ralph's shoulder. "easy, easy" Xaven said. "why dont you go back with the girls and Drake, i got this" Xaven said, turning his gaze now to the intruding Alpha, who couldnt help but shiver at just how Xaven controlled himself, the air around him. the Alpha took a step back, just one but it sent his two lackeys off and they came around, growling. "humans around" Xaven said. "the rules" Ralph moved back, before he turned around and crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for things to happen.. good or bad he was on guard.

Vanessa laughed about what Xaven said and shook her head amused. ''I didn't show off, I showed how much I love you'' she said. When Ralph left for to get himself something to eat, it felt for Vanessa like something new to her status of Alpha Female opened up. She could feel that Ralph loved to see his friends so happy but actually felt a little lonely.

Five minutes after Ralph had left, Xaven left Vanessa's side and Vanessa didn't know what to do for a second. Drake nodded his head towards the beach. "I'm getting a little cold.. Let's go back'' she said and together with Lesley and Drake, she got out of the water. Lesley dried herself and so did Drake but Vanessa only wrapped the towel around herself and then walked to where Xaven was standing. She smelled the sent and actually used two fingers to close her nose. ''Eeeww.. What is that smell?'' she asked and got the attention of the other Alpha. ''Sweet lord, why did he sent you?'' he asked. ''The lord didn't sent me.. My man needs me'' Vanessa says as she lays her hand on Xaven his arm. She then took a better look at the Alpha. ''I know you..'' she said and right at that moment her unasked question is being answered. ''Johney! Geez why are you here?!'' Cassandra asked. ''My favorite cousin! Also a blessing to see you again'' he said. ''See! I knew that face.. Honey, he is nothing to worry about'' Vanessa said to Xaven. ''He is her cousin, spoiled like f*ck just like his cousin'' Vanessa said and got in front of Xaven so he had to look at her.

''Hey Vanessa, I know a very good doctor for that scar'' Cassandra said, a bit bitchy. ''No thank you, I keep my body the way nature gave it to me and with everything I get during my life'' Vanessa said. ''Vanessa, why do you smell like you are claimed?'' Johney asked, in a whisper that only the wolves would be able to hear. ''Because I am'' Vanessa whispered. ''Let's go home Xaven.. Please?'' Vanessa asked.

Xaven smirked at her from the water. "oh i think we did a lot of that in the bedroom and the shower.. oh and the counter top in the bathroom" he winked and looked up, watching Ralph go, and he knew his friend was both happy and lonely, there were women for Ralph, nothing as serious as Drake had been, but none of them were anything more then one nighters, and not from his part, the women were the ones that only wanted the one night thing.. everytime afterwards, Xaven had to watch as they sent his calls to voicemail or said they didnt want anything but what they got.

Drake nodded. "yea, lets" he said, as Ralph came back and stood there, on end as Drake's eyes never left the group. "come on sweetness" picking Lesley up one armed and carrying her out of the water as if she weighted nothing. Xaven stood his ground, but when the other Alpha spoke about his mate, he growled and not quietly as he took a step closer, but Vanessa's touch stopped him as he put his arm around her protectively, holding her close. Drake sat Lesley down and moved her behind him, protectively, glaring as one of Johnny's Beta's eyed her. "keep eyeing her" Drake dared, his hackles raised and his posture tense. "see if i dont rip them from their sockets and hand them to you" Xaven relaxed slightly. "yea, i remember now" he said, holding Vanessa tightly to him. "and she is mine" Xaven growled out, the sound vibrating through him and into Vanessa.

Xaven looked at her when she got in front of him, before he nodded. "of course" he said, bringing a hand up and stroking her cheek. "lets go home.. Drake, Ralph get the cooler and things" Drake glared. "yea, alright" Xaven reached a hand back. "Lesley, may i escort you back to the jeep?" Drake and Ralph collecting everything from their spot, and hurrying back over. Xaven looked to Johnny one last time.

Vanessa felt the vibration from Xaven his claim and smiled. "Feels good to hear that" she said and when Drake and Ralph where gone to grab the cooler, she took Lesley her hand and eyes down the beta's from Johnny. "Keep your dogs with you Johnny, I promise it won't be fun if you don't " she said and then let Xaven bring her and Lesley to the Jeep.

Johnny looked at them. "I will Vanessa, but only for you my dear" he said and Vanessa grabbed Xaven his arm. "He is trying to get under your skin Xav.. Don't listen to him" she said and when back at the Jeep she looked at Drake and Ralph.

"Ralph, you are driving.. I will sit next to you.. See it as a little present because you protected us" she said and Ralph grinned some. Vanessa smiled at Xaven and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Lesley sat down behind Ralph and Drake sat in the middle.

Once back home, Vanessa walked towards the house and unlocked it. She smiled and then helped Lesley carry the towels while the guys took the cooler. "Okay, I'm thinking about a movie and maybe pizza?" Vanessa said as it was close to 9 pm. Suddenly a car came up the road toward the house and Xaven would see his parents inside it. "Oh gosh.." Vanessa whispered as his parents were not knowing that he was living here already for three months or so.

Xaven held her. "damn right better" Xaven said. before he lead the women toward the jeep, hearing that comment he growled, and couldnt help it or keep it back, he let it out as he went to spin around and go after him, but Vanessa caught and stopped him as he took a deep breath, he calmed himself as he stared at Johnny. "you only get one, that was it" Xaven threatened, before he made it to the keep as Drake and Ralph came up, carrying things and sitting them in the jeep. Ralph looked at her.. "okay" he said, before he smirked. "dont sound so suprised, of course i'd protect you" climbing into the driver seat.

Xaven sat in the back, smiling back at Vanessa after the kiss. Drake sat in the middle, his hand resting possessively on Lesley's leg. "the son of a bitch is lucky, he looked at you any longer and i'd have tore his eyes out and shoved them up his own puckered ass" he growled out, annoyed as he glared daggers at the backs of the mutts that ran with Johnny. "Easy" Xaven said as Ralph pulled them out and headed them home. once back, Drake took over the cooler as Xaven stood at the door. "pizza works" Ralph said. "the local shop knows our order by heart" meaning they ordered there a lot, and the way they ate, they probably ordered a lot of pizza. Xaven turned around hearing a car coming up, and he walked out slowly, as he saw who it was. "mhm" Xaven said, sighing as he waited for them to come to a stop and the car to shut off before the doors opened and his father and mother stepped out. "Mom, Dad" he smiled at them. "how's life going?" though they didnt know he had been in town, he was calling them regularly.

"Xaven?!" His mother said in surprise. His father looked at his son and even though he had not the ability to turn, he did feel that his son was a alpha. "How long have you been back?" He asked and Vanessa looked at George. "He has been taking care of my house" she said. "You knew he was back?" Daisy, his mother, asked. "Recently" Vanessa said and patted on his shoulder.

Lesley walked inside with Drake and Ralph. "Drake.. You are acting a little weird" she said and walked up to him. "Is there something you need to tell me?" She asked. Vanessa turned her head and looked at the house. "George.. Daisy... Please Come inside" she said. His parents nodded and together they all walked inside. Vanessa whispered to Xaven: "Do your parents know from... the wolf thing?" She asked. "Because Lesley is thinking that Drake isn't telling her something" she then whispered and walked to the open kitchen. "Ralph, My dear... Can you order the pizzas please?" She asked and Ralph got up right away to make the call. Lesley looked at Xaven his parents and smiled. "Nice to meet you, I am Lesley.. Friend of Vanessa" she said.

Daisy smiled brightly. "Good to see you finally made a decent girl friend my dear" she said and Vanessa laughed. Lesley looked at Vanessa and she grinned. "Daisy is a little like my second mom.. Just as George is a little like my second dad.. and well, my parents and sister where Xaven his second family.. Daisy always though I would end up becoming a short-hair cutted overworked more male than female person because I always hang around with Xaven and his friends more than with other girls" she said and Daisy laughed some.

"Xaven, don't you need to tell us something?" George said, his eyes had a special glimmer, one from pure amusement knowing how his wife would react after their son told about his new girlfriend. He himself knew this already by the way they had looked at each other. He himself was not a Wolf but both his parents had been so he had experienced the alpha Wolf connection from close by.

Xaven smiled to his mom and dad. "a while" he admitted, before he looked at his father, nodding. "me, Drake and Ralph showed up when they were building it, and well we helped out with the remodeling and such and then we just stuck around" before shaking his head. "no mom, she didnt know til she arrived earlier today" he admitted

Drake looked to Lesley. "uh.." Ralph took over. "he cant really say, until Xaven says its okay, its not cause he doesnt want to, just Xaven is the boss.. so to speak" thinking. "but Vanessa could tell you" Drake nodded. before hearing people coming.. Xaven shook his head. "no" he whispered back. "and i heard that, but you can tell her" he added. Ralph smiled. "hey Mr and Mrs. Vendal, and pizza coming up" he went into the kitchen to do that. Drake stood to the side. "Mr. Vendal sir, Ma'am" nodding to them. Xaven smirked. "they were too, they adored and spoiled me" he smirked, then laughed before he looked to his father. "huh?" he asked, putting his arm around Vanessa. "she's mine"

Lesley frowned and then shook her head. "It will have to wait.. until layer today, we have to make sure his parents won't know" Drake whispered to Lesley.

Vanessa laughed when Xaven wrapped his arm around her andaughter told his parents that she was his. Daisy started to smile bright and George shook her head with a grin. "That is what he meant honey.. He wanted you to tell them that we are official together" she said and giggled. "Silly boy of mine" Daisy said and wrapped them both in a hug. "It took him way too long to find you again Vanessa.. Please never leave" she said. "Oh I won't, this is my house" Vanessa said with a grin. "I want to welcome you officially in the family Nessie" George said and gave Vanessa a hug, he then whispered: "I am sorry that he left for so long.. If I had been able too, I would have helped them myself.. But let's not say anything as long as Daisy is around" He knew that now he said this, Xaven and the others knew that he knew their secret but he didn't mind. His wife didn't know about this special feature of the family and he liked it that way.

Vanessa nodded and smiled, she let go of George and the looked at Xaven. "Ralph! Did you order extra pizza? We have guests tonight" she said. Ralph who was still on the phone and ordered another ten pizzas and then hung up. "Done so!" Ralph said as he returned ton the others.

George nodded. "yes" he smirked. "thats what we wanted" as Xaven nodded. "oh, well now you know i guess" holding her to his side as she giggled, before Xaven wrapped his arms around his mother's one side, holding her. "normally i was coming up with a remark for that comment, but your right mom, it did take way to long for me to find her" then hearing the never leave and Vanessa saying it was her house, he laughed. "well she's not wrong there, it is her house" Xaven kissed his mother's cheek, before hearing his father.. well Drake and Xaven's head snapped to George real quick, hearing that whisper, and about not telling his mother, Xaven was all good about that.

with Ralph and the pizza done, he came back in, having heard as well, and he smirked to George, nodding at him. "Unc was here earlier, but like usual or well, not really usual, since i'd never seen it happen.. he met a woman.. uhh.. hiking in the woods" looking at his dad intently. "and he went and showed her to the next town, she was a wild one" meaning she stayed wolf most often but uncle had taken her to the next town and hadnt been seen since

George looked a bit surprised about the story about his brother with a woman. "Maybe he finally loses his wild hair" he said and shook his head. "Oh let's not speak about that person, he is on top of my dislike list" Vanessa said. She looked at Ralph and Drake and nodded towards the garden and then she looked at Lesley. Drake nodded and walked to Lesley, he was not going to wait to tell her. "Lesley, do you wanna go for a walk?" He asked. Lesley nodded. "Don't forget the leash" Vanessa said and giggled. Lesley smiled a bit and then walked with Drake into the garden and a little away from the house. Ralph left trough a different store to stay close and ensure that Lesley wouldn't run back and scream and such.

Vanessa smiled and walked to the open kitchen and started to make coffee. "They are gonna get wood for the fireplace.." Vanessa said when Daisy looked a little puzzled. Daisy nodded. "You are not afraid anymore?" Daisy aseed. "I have my moments.. But Xaven is a great help" she said. "It was worse when I was at college" she said and shook her head. "How is your scar?" Daisy suddenly asked. "Still there.. But I'm not gonna use my parents money for plastic surgery.. It is a part of me" She said and looked at Xaven with a smile.

Xaven smirked. "yes, Uncle doesnt have a friend in Vanessa right now" he smiled. Drake and Ralph looked at her. Xaven turned. "carefully" Xaven said, before Drake and Lesley went off with Drake. Ralph moved off to follow but to keep his distance.. Xaven nodded to his mother, smiling when he was called he was a great help. then moving into the kitchen, George leading his wife inside, and sitting down at the table. "i can imagine it would be" George said. Xaven looked over. "mom, thats a little personal dont you think" smirking.

Drake walked through the garden. "geez, i dont know how Xaven did this" he said, taking a deep breath, before looking to Lesley. "so first thing is i wont hurt you, i'd never do that" licking his lips as they were far enough. "uh.. well.. like a bandaid, just rip it off he said, stopping and looking at her. "im a Werewolf" he just said it. "i was born into it.. uh its not like in the books, passed on by a bite, you have to be born with it.. i looked back in my family line and figured out my great great great grandfather was one, and he met his wife so, thats how it got there, but it awoke in me, same with Ralph and Xaven, who is like our Alpha" he said.

"It actually isn't honey-pie" Vanessa said with a giggle. "Your parents where there a lot for me after the last summer camp" she said and once the coffee and tea for herself was made she walked up with it on a tray to the table. She sat down and smiled. "Your mom gave me my first top with a open back after the accident.. kinda like she also gave me my first bikini" she said and smiled.

Lesley listened to Drake and shook her head. "Werewolf? " She asked and folded her arms. "Right.. and I'm a mermaid and my father is a vampire" she said and looked at him with disbelief in her eyes. "If you changed your mind and don't want to date with me, then just say so.. don't put up something stupid like this" she said and turned around. She started to walk away when she heard behind her the sound of a zipper and clothes being put on the ground. "Did you just strip? " She asked and didn't turn around.

Xaven looked up. "i didnt know that" not that he was exactly in the right mind at the time to know that. "but naturally they would be" he smiled, caffeine worked a little to well on a werewolf, they refrained from drinking it. but George took a cup, drinking his black. "why am i not suprised about that mom" Xaven said, hearing about the shirt. "i remember the bikini's thing" cause well that day, when they'd left to go to the lake, they'd stopped and he'd removed that and they'd had sex in the jeep, along side the road.

Drake nodded. "yes" watching her, smelling her annoyance as he sighed. "your not a mermaid, nor is your dad a vampire" he said, seeing the disbelief in her eyes. "im being serious, i didnt change my mind at all, i want nothing more then to date you, but i had to tell you the truth, and its not stupid" she turned her back on him, the only thing left, he removed his clothes. "i did, cause i need to change back into them afterwards" he said, standing there. "turn around and see for yourself" he stood, waiting for her. "i promise you im not lying Lesley, if you just turn around, i will show you, but just.. please keep an open mind" waiting for her to turn around and once she did, he was standing there as human, til suddenly, he wasnt and in his place, was a wolf, larger then normal wolves, but a wolf as he shook himself out, settling his fur.

''I know why you remember that so good'' Vanessa said with a grin and shook her head. ''You really are a bad guy'' she said joking and gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek. She had made a cup of tea for herself and drank from it a little. She looked at Daisy and saw how she looked at her son and smiled. ''He is save Daisy, don't worry'' she said and Daisy nodded. ''I know honey, that's not it. You changed Xaven.. When you left you were still a boy.. Now you lost that.. You really have grown while on that journey with Marcus'' Daisy said. Vanessa smiled. ''He still has his moments'' she said. ''Oh I hope so yes'' Daisy said. Vanessa looked at Daisy with a smile, she knew how worried the women had been when Xaven had gone on the road trip with his uncle. ''Come girls, let's keep it light here'' George said with a smile and Vanessa giggled softly.

Lesley turned around but didn't look at him, or at least focused on his face. She waited but when he changed she was shocked. ''How ?!'' she asked and did a few steps back. ''Like he said.. His great great great grandfather was one.. It can not be given to you when you are bit'' Ralph said as he came from his hiding place. ''Vanessa knows this?'' Lesley asked. ''Yes, she is our Alpha female'' Ralph said. ''Already was since she was introduced to us by Xaven on our first summer camp together.. Not any other girl was allowed in our group'' Ralph said. ''Walk up to him, he won't bite.. If he does, he has trouble with Vanessa and Xaven.. And I don't know who is more scary'' Ralph said.

Lesley did a few steps toward Drake and when she was close enough, she reached her hand out to him. He moved closer and they touched. Lesley looked at him. ''You really are a dog'' she said and sighed. ''Now I am really gonna buy you a pink outfit... Or at least a pink blouse'' she said and then wrapped her arms around his neck. ''And still.. I am a mermaid, for Vanessa at least.. I really do have a tail'' she said

Xaven smiled at her wickedly when she said she knew why he remembered it so good, what guy wouldnt remember it. "im not bad, im portrayed that way" he said, looking to his mother, and well they wernt before, thats for sure.. those hours upstairs before they went swimming, there was no safety, before hearing his mother. "i dont know if i was a boy mom, but that time with he who wont be named, it was a life changing thing, but im still me, just a more wiser me i guess you can say" reaching and squeezing her hand, before laughing. "more moments then i should" he admitted. and then his dad chimed in and he was greatful as Xaven held Vanessa on his lap, arm around her waist.

Drake stood there, staring at her, he didnt move, didnt so much as breath heavy, he knew the guilt that Xaven felt for what happened to Vanessa cause of him, he didnt want that burden of accidentally biting Lesley or anything like that. and he watched her as Ralph explained and when she came closer to him, Drake leaned his head into her touch, giving a soft growl of approval, before he opened his eyes, looking up at her, and he then rolled his eyes, before he let his tongue fall out the side of his mouth, as his tail wagged teasingly, showing he had one too, that worked.

the doorbell rang. "pizza is here" Xaven said, having heard the car coming up the drive, looking toward the back, where Drake, Lesley and Ralph had went. "i got it" standing he moved toward the front door, opening it up, not knowing how many Ralph ordered. "how much do i owe you?"

Vanessa giggled and shook her head. She let go of Xaven when he got up to get the door. "Pizza today means tomorrow vegetables! " She said and giggled, she knew very well how muche he hates green food. But he needed it.

Lesley looked at his wagging tail and shook her head. "Geez, easy with the tail D... Don't want you to get hurt" she said and giggled at his eye rolling for the pink blouse. "My tail is purple with blue, with a very cute bikini top... which might be a little to small at this moment" she said and grinned. Oh how she loved to tease him. She tickled behind his ear and then stood straight again. "Drake, time to change back... Pizza is here" Ralph said, he had heard the car too and smiled.

The pizza-girl smiled at Xaven and blushed. "30 dollars" she said. She was the only deliver that knew how to drive trough this forest and always brought them the pizza's. She kinda liked it and to her Ralph was very cute. Vanessa heard the female voice and grabbed her purse, she walkedid toward's the door and gave the girl 40 dollar. "Keep the change" she said and kinda glared the girl away who gave the pizzas to Xaven fast and then walked back to her car. Vanessa rolled her eyes and looked at Xaven, seeing his little smile as she just had acted as the overly jealous girlfriend. "Don't you dare to say anything... She was almost drooling over you and I am the only one allowed to do that" she said and then walked back inside

"im not a rabbit" Xaven complained, though he didnt mind greens, he loved salads actually, of all kinds so it wasnt that bad, but he smiled when she giggled, so it was worth it to let her tease him.

Drake looked at her, and he pressed his head against her hand, before his eyes snapped open as she teased him about her mermaid tail and how the top was to small. "wait" Ralph said. "how would it be to small, did you grow in bust size or something" Drake growled at Ralph at that question. "hey, im just curious" Ralph said, laughing as Drake groaned as she scratched behind his ear and his back leg jerked, before he nodded, and he backed up, and changed back, grabbing his clothes, and he began pulling them on. "so why is the top smaller exactly, and i think you might need a second opinion on that" as he pulled his clothes on. Ralph coming around from the back now, seeing.
