Hopefully tomorrow. I'm dealing with some issues with my other RP that are hitting me rather hard. This RP will start, however. Though, I'd prefer if we could at least get one more RPer in with a sheet. I've had bad experiences with RPs with only 3 RPers.
This looks really interesting, but before I start I have a question. I'm gonna be out of town for four days (Thursday-Sunday) and Thursday and Friday I won't have any internet access while Saturday and Sunday I'll have limited. Is that gonna be a problem if you're starting it soon? Or could my character like meet up with them later potentially?
@DisguisedDemon There's a possibility your character could arrive at a later date. However, they will be 'an outsider' meaning that it could be fairly hard for them to enter into the group. As long as you understand that. Feel free to throw up a CS.
Edit: There are still quite a few mistakes in there. ^-^;
Just a few pointers...
Women is the plural form. Woman is the singular form.
There are some instances where commas are good for the sentence. Most of the time commas are used to separate different clauses or ideas. When the idea is the same on both sides of the comma or the idea isn't complete, a comma isn't necessary. If you want to insinuate a pause use ellipses. Ellipses are just three dots and they usually signify a break or pause.
"I'm uh... not sure we should even go there, Jack. Leave it alone."
When a word ends in the suffix '-ful,' it only needs one 'l.'
Wonderful Bountiful Beautiful Useful
Appreciate is spelled like that... I'd recommend a spell check of some kind. If a word looks kind of funny or you don't know how to spell it or even if you don't really know the meaning, look it up. Google it. I do it fairly often when I use a word that I'm not sure how to spell or it's specific meaning.
Hullo everyone! I posted in the Interest Check but figured I'd make it known here that I'll be interested in joining this little group. Working on a character as we speak :)
<Outfit:/> Edward's typical attire consists of a black Hummel Atlantic zip-up jacket over a plain t-shirt with jeans and black/gray running shoes. He carries a slightly beat up backpack carrying supplies and opts the use of a balaclava over the lower-half of his face at times.
<Skills:/>
Incredibly fast and athletic
Highly skilled at parkour and freerunning
Rather capable at fist fighting, with an affinity towards knives during combat
Adept, though inexperienced skill with firearms (preferably handguns)
A quick thinker with keen observation skills and a resourceful mind
Fluent in French
An adept singer and guitar player
<Personality:/> Edward comes across as a generally carefree, though apathetic individual, prone towards speaking bluntly or matter-of-factly about sensitive topics. He often displays a bored or unenthusiastic expression, with a calm, collected "cool" demeanor that grants him an ample amount of focus even in the most dangerous or life-threatening scenarios. As a result, he can quickly adjust to most situations with relative ease, keeping clear judgement. Despite this stoic demeanor, Edward does have an emotional side that can and will show itself if he's pushed far enough. During these times he has a tendency of speaking rapidly or making frantic, borderline frenzied hand movements, as well as displaying a shorter temper and higher amount of aggression. However, Edward does his best to keep this more passionate side of him under control, and thus it rarely shows itself.
Edward's devil-may-care attitude makes him seem oblivious to the zombie apocalypse at times, and he can more often than not be found daydreaming or reading somewhere, lost in his own thoughts. This can make him occasionally insufferable to deal with, though Edward knows when to be serious and will quickly shift gears when that time comes.
Edward shows a great fondness for animals, namely dogs, displaying a great amount of empathy and compassion towards them. Because of this, he will form a close emotional bond with almost any dog he finds, even risking his own safety to protect them. As a result, anytime the animal perishes, Edward will go into a period of great emotional distress and sadness.
Edward has a slightly flirty and perverted side to him, not above the occasional ungentlemanly glance or lewd remark every so often, though these advances are half-hearted and rarely mean anything. Edward has a large sense of humor, believing that a good joke or story helps keep group morale up; something he holds in incredibly high regard.
In spite of his general demeanor, Edward does have a more pensive, secretive side to him, and has lost much since the beginning of the apocalypse. He displays traits befitting a loner at times, sitting by himself to think or contemplate whenever the group setting becomes too much for him. He has a tendency of asking very deep, serious, even existential questions at times, and loves debating philosophies with other members of the group.
<Background:/> Edward speaks little of his life before the Outbreak, due in part to his seemingly uncaring and evasive attitude. However, he makes references to multiple incidents during his life before on occasion, mentioning having a French background, a younger sister, and previous work as a bartender amongst other tidbits. While Edward has never been opposed to personal questions on his behalf, he always appears to be possessed by a certain level of fear upon being asked.
<Family/Relationships:/>
Hunter Monroe - "What are you asking? My impression on Hunter? He's nice enough, I guess, kinda rough around the edges. Troubled childhood makes him suspicious and defensive sometimes, but perception is reality - can't hate him for doing all he knows.
Dabriah Sauagius - "An interesting girl, very easy on the eyes - blame the French in me. Her brutal honesty makes her solid and trustworthy, though even I know how to be subtle sometimes. She's observant and thoughtful. Very attractive traits if I do say so, myself."
Lacy Carter - "A sweet girl, really - comes from a country background. She's young...too young to be in this situation, but she's adjusting fine, I think...even with her brute of a brother watching the rest of us like a hawk. She reminds me of my own sister.....almost."
Jack Carter - "What to say about Jack...He's distant, to me at least. Works in the group but doesn't integrate too well, thinks his sister is a frail bird to be watched and protected at all times. I can't hate his devotion, but it's in my experience that coddling never works in the long run."
Edward Richter - "I'm Edward Richter. Things I like and things I hate? I don't feel like going into that. My dreams for the future? Never really thought about it. And my hobbies? Well, I have a lot of hobbies."
Riley Vega - "A manly...well, woman. She's a hunter, outdoors-woman, you name it. Kind-of acts like a drill sergeant at first, which might come in handy when we're trying to organise ourselves. But I can tell there's something else there, if only slight. People tend to guard themselves during desperate times, and this is no exception."
<Other:/> Edward is a movie-buff, and is fond of quoting various pieces of dialogue from movies and TV shows he has seen, as well as making parallels between cinema and real life. Edward is also an enthusiastic music lover, and enjoys discussing the subject with his teammates during downtime.
@Ghost Shadow I have to say, that is an incredible CS and puts my own to shame. I have no problems with it what-so-ever. :)
As it's going, I may just accept those that have posted CS soon and get us started. But I'm going to give it until tonight or tomorrow to let others put CSs in as well. Tomorrow, of the CSs posted, I will choose which will join us. (All of them posted so far are pretty good though, so ye. :P)
*Salutes@HylianRose* Yes ma'am expect mine to be up at around 2PM EST 3PM EST at the latest. I would do mine right now but I have no energy to write anything since I've been up at 5AM.

That's fine. Sorry for the uhh.. commanding 'tone' there. I've had a few say they were making CSs but never put one up so I'm a bit... anxious to get things rolling. Please, rest up before posting anything. :)
Quick note: I might clean up Edward's backstory tonight. Make it flow a bit nicer, stuff like that :P
EDIT: Ok, so after thinking it through and looking over the CS, I've decided to revamp Edward's backstory so to speak. I had a difficult time summarizing it into a background section, so I'm gonna have it revealed in bits and pieces + flashbacks in game ;)
Really sorry for the long wait everyone heres my character. :)
Name: Riley Vega
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Height: 5'6
Weight: 135lbs
Skills: Skilled cook. Some medical treatment. Fire Arms, mainly hunting rifles. Wilderness survival. Shelter building. Fishing. Small and big game hunting.
Personality: Riley usually at first looks to be a real hard ass but she is the complete opposite, she is actually a very caring person and very friendly once you get to know her. Growing up she was very close to her father who always enjoyed hunting, which was what she actually enjoys doing. Riley likes to be in the outdoors and feels more at peace when she is out in the woods.
Riley also learned how to cook from her mother though not nearly as close as she was with her father, Riley overall was on very good terms with her family and those who she considered friends as well. She also always likes to try and see the best in people. But when you end up losing her trust or she suspects that someone is lying to her Riley will always try and avoid the person as much as possible.
Background: Riley was originally born and raised in a small town up in Pennsylvania, her parents were named Michael, and Sarah the two of them met each other while they were in college. Riley's father worked at warehouse while her mother was working as a nurse at a hospital, as Riley got older and she was old enough her father decided to take her out on her first hunting trip where he taught her how to make a bow and arrow, as well as how to build a campsite and how to set up traps for small animals and how to use a hunting rifle.
Throughout high school Riley grew up to be more of a tomboy, she was usually picked on by the more popular girls, but she didn't let that get to her and always ended up getting very good grades. When she finished high school Riley decided to go to a culinary school but wanted to do it out of state so Georgia College in Milledgeville, though she lived off campus she so she could go out and hunt on her own. When the outbreak finally happened Riley was out already when things happened Riley was in the woods when an infected suddenly jumped her. Doing the only thing she could do and defended herself and used her hunting knife and killed the walker.
When Riley finally made her way into town once more she saw that everything had gotten very bad and eventually she found a group of survivors and since then she has stuck with the group.
Relationships:
Hunter Monroe: "I cant believe the first time I met him, he had a gun pointed right at me I did disarm him that day, and gave him a good smack across the head with his own shotgun. But since then I forgave him. I even patched up his foot while we were walking through an unfinished house when he stepped over a nail that was sticking out. Other then his talkative side which gets annoying and after getting over his paranoia hes a really cool guy I guess."
Dabriah Sauagius: "Dabdriah? She is very much the blunt and brutally honest of the whole group, would I trust her to have my back? Not at the moment. But I try and get to know her better she seems to try and see the worse in people and rarely sees the good in them. But she is very skilled at free running and she seems really good at spotting things, maybe I could ask her for some pointers?"
Lacy Carter: "What can I say about Lacy? Shes like the little sister I never had, being the only child was boring and its nice to talk to someone closer to my age. I taught her how to cook, which I think she has gotten the hang of, and actually likes it I also taught her some of my outdoors stuff though it's tougher setting up camp with those things out there. Though I feel bad that she gets yelled at for some things by her brother but I know he means well, and I cant tell that the two of them are very close I comfort her after most of the time."
Jack Carter: "Jack Carter? He seems really nice I guess, though it seems like he has a lot on his mind I get the sense that he was forced into the leader role of the group. I sometimes see the way he looks at me, and cant help that he has a crush on me, though he is pretty damn cute. He is very close to his little sister Lacy which I think is sweet. I usually help out with getting things for him like hunting for food and setting up camp for everyone, which I think he appreciates."
Edward Richter: "Eddie? He seems like a really nice guy, from what I could get him to spill the beans over his personal life. I usually call him Eddie because I know he hates it, and usually laughs it off, he keeps a lot of his personal life before all this shit happened to himself. But I wont push him to much, I don't want to pry to much of his personal life of his, but i'm there for him if he ever wants to chat about it."
Riley Vega: "What about me? Well lets see, I guess I am pretty much the groups de facto chef of this whole bunch. Growing up my father taught me how to hunt, make a proper campsite, fishing and all that sort of outdoorsy kind of stuff which has been my passion, did I mention I also like cooking? Was getting my degree for Culinary Arts when this shit went down, guess I wont get that diploma and open my restaurant huh?. Everyone thinks I look like a hard ass, but i'm really not hell maybe some of them are scared of me. But once I got to know everyone I think they all like me, and I get along well with everyone.
