I would like to talk about it a bit more because I'm still not sure what to do about it at the moment. At the very least I had an idea maybe on the way back from dinner one or both of the twins overhear a conversation between Kristoph and Emmerson, or maybe the ships doctor and a person he's getting supplies from just mentioning that they are setting sail first thing in the morning heading towards Hilarest to properly resupply or something like that.
I do like the idea of including the old pirate superstition of women supposedly being bad luck on ships. In fact that could be something that happens on Kristoph's ship as well. He has many seasoned pirates working for him, a few as old as his dad so they could believe the superstition without hesitation as well. It could cause a temporary rift between Kristoph and part of the crew, although they wouldn't jump to mutiny right away especially with the promise of the Gray Ghosts Treasure.
