Hello there! As you can see from the title, I am in the mood to create some pirate fun. I love action, drama, clever characters, and interesting plots. So with your help, I would love to create an intriguing pirate story. Dark ideas and betrayals are not beyond me, and I am more than happy to do mature themes if it fits with the plot. Among those mature themes, violence and swearing are among obvious themes distinct to a pirate story. With that said, here is a bit of back story...
I am following the new series Black Sails, and I am actively playing Assassin's Creed IV (I am taking my time and enjoying the campaign), so you can probably see I have plenty of hearty pirate influence. I would adore it if we could take ideas from both the series and the game and form our own captivating plot. You don't HAVE to be familiar with either of the sources mentioned, but it would be helpful in explaining. My idea is very simple-
The pirates (our characters) of a town are tired of the threats of the British and Spanish taking over their port. (Think Nassau) Our characters specifically find a suitable island hidden away just enough to be elusive that would be the perfect sanctuary for 'free men' to build their lives. Our characters first have to steal this island from the current wealthy Spanish aristocrat living there, and then find a way to build upon the town that was started by the aristocrat. From this dream to create a sanctuary for free men on this island, our characters will have to find means of gaining enough money and riches to fortify the island, build their town port, and sustain trade...not to mention get others to move from 'Nassau' to this island without any unwanted visitors.
There is obviously much more to the plot than what I just said, but I figure this can all be discusses together. My ideas branch out further to have a group of Assassins, or have some characters belong to the Assassins, have some British Officers switch sides or pirates become traitors, and have relationships be tested through the rough sea life.
I am looking for someone who is willing to double up, and doesn't mind MxF. Depending upon the type of characters, I might also be open to a third pairing of a FxF nature, but it all depends upon plot. I also wish for the characters to have dimension and vary from pirates to men wanting freedoms to men proving themselves worthy of being officers in the Royal Navy to a whore wanting a better life to a stuffy old woman refusing to give up tradition. Fun, yes?
