Megan grumbled as she started to cross out the fatal choices off the list, which was practically everything with the few exceptions. Megan stared across the classroom, towards the window. "I wonder when we can go." She smirked to herself. She was used to fighting in the forest, well more of animals and she used to kill the animals she fought.

The teacher looked on the clock that hang in the back if the classroom. "It's time to go!" He said with a friendly smile on his face. "My class is giving the honor to go as first. So we need to get going. Ohh, don't for get your key and handbook and school pas. You will need your school pas to enter the arena." He walked towards the door and turned around. "By the way my name is Mark." and he opens the door and made a movement to say that they all need to follow him.

Cicile got up from her seat and put her key and school pas in a pocked that she found. She grabbed her hand book and walked over to the door and waited outside. As she passes Mark she greeds him friendly. Cicile was still thinking about her ability and her future. It sounded all so odd to her but her ability sounded not so bad. She has a second personalaty that is the opposite so why not a aability that goes with it.

Megan grabbed her key, passbook and handbook. She waited until everyone was out of the class before she left. She was still very wary of people walking behind her so she'd rather walk at the back of the class. At least for now. Megan watched all the other students carefully, especially Ena, as though trying to predict what they would do.

Lance gave a smile to the others. After gaining his room key and other such stuff he quickly headed off towards the areana. He wanted to see what it looked like. And also wanted to know if it would be big enough to hold some of his hunters. The larger ones especially. He was excited for this fight and couldn't wait. Of course he had a feeling that he might come out on top as he felt that this 'demon lord' didn't have nearly enough battle experience as him.

David stood up and picked up Pico's bag and said "Are you ready to go Pico? I want to duel someone." Davud was a execptional fighter. He had to be. Just to protect Pico. He wanted to be a good boyfriend so he can protect her. He smiles at her and for a rare occasion showed excitement. "IO hope I get to duel someone strong? I want to test my skills against someone. This is gonna be fun to be able to duel someone." David smiles at her and looked around the room, at all the other students that were either still here or leaving.

Pico gave a slightly pondering look as she rose from her seat to leave the classroom. He's really like some kind of puppy sometimes...I mean, he looks kind of serious and scary, but then...days like today... She didn't really hold an opinion on it, it was just something she still had to get used to, it seemed. It was odd how he seemed to be able to change like that, though. At least, that's what she thought he was doing. If there was a more straightforward connection to what it all meant, she decided that she would have to wait and figure it out.

In the meantime, he did have a point about getting on with the events. They couldn't start any sort of duel while they remained in the classroom, and they didn't want to be too slow about getting out there. They didn't need to be first and end up looking over-eager, but they couldn't seem reluctant, either. In the middle was safe. Not particularly impacting, but there wasn't a lot she really had the motivation to plan at the moment. No matter what, the two with the huge destinies would be taking the immediate spotlight, so she had to come from behind.

"So, pick someone, then. Once we get outside, anyone not paired up is fair game. I trust your judgement." Her shoes clicked against the floor as she exited with little more hesitation, resolved to keep the building anticipation hidden by the usual calm determination on her face.

"It's your job, isn't it? to be able to judge well?"

Ena walked along side Noel to the arena and looked around. It was quite strange, but then again she really wasn't out of her house much. Her eyes scanned her classmates to find out who she should fight. Maybe Megan, but that would just make for an awkward night of trying to destroy eachother later on. Pico seemed like a nice enough match, but Ena felt herself unworthy of such an experienced oppenant seeing as she had only recently discovered her gift. Hopefully these people will understand her late bloom as they themselves had once been novice to their gifts.

Ena looked up at Noel and smiled softly. "I'm pretty interested to watch your battle" she said sincerely. It would be intriguing to see how far those two have already developed and how intense their future battle will be. She wondered if maybe this generation of Dark Lord will try to deter from the path of evil doing. Maybe he will use his reputation and power in a good light rather than use it negatively. Maybe he'll turn into someone she would never recognize as the sweet boy who ran into her at the Ceremony. There were too many 'what if's in the equation for her to be sure.

Cicile looked around while they all were walking to the arena. The forest was really pritty. She looked at her classmates, they all where buzzy thinking and talking about the duals. She didn't care about who she has to battle, because she didn't even know what to do with her ability.

It didn't took long or they all stood in front of the arena.

"Oke we're there at the arena." Mark pauzed and quickly counted the students and that where all here. "So I know that you all are a little bit nervous about the duals but that's all oke. Noel and Lance are you two OK with starting the duals?" He stopped and looked at the two for them to give an answer.

Megan watched everyone, she walked at the very back of the group. She looked around as everyone entered the arena. "Wow..." She was really awestruck of all this. Megan looked towards Ena then approached her. "Hey! Mena!" And she purposefully missaid her name.

It was fairly impressive, the arena. It was in a naturally beautiful location, too. The use of the more natural-looking landscape seemed good for letting the students have full access to the elements around them if they so wished. Of course, being open to the air meant that they would have to watch the weather carefully if this place wasn't regulated by magic.

As Pico glanced around the area, however, she noticed some girl with an attitude approaching the candymaker. "Popular, aren't you? Was this your first choice all along, or are you just lucky, then?"

David followed Pico to the large arena, and said "Wow this place is beautiful huh Pico? I hope I get to challenge some reallt strong people here.." He said in amazement. David was beginning to feel more and more like Pico when ever he took her to buy candy. If people knew him well they probably wouldnt even recognize him because he was acting so cheery and exicted. He looked around and wondered who he could challenged. he then saw the girl(Ena) that Pico was talking to earlier. He put their bags down and said "Excuse me Pico." He went to Ena and asked "Excuse me...but would you like to have a match with me? You seem like a very strong person, and I love to have a match with someone here. I also saw that you met my girlfriend Pico earlier." David said smiling

Ena glared at Megan and said "what, Agnes?" She obviously had a problem with Ena and she didn't even care. Then Pico came up with her boyfriend and sighed. "Yeah, no. I don't want to battle her. She kind of hates me for no reason at all, so I'm not willing to risk my life with a spar for class." Then she looked up at David with a smile. They were a cute couple, Ena thought. She said "I think your girlfriend wishes to battle. I mean, I can always ask if I can fight both of you but I would want to be respectful enough to be at the top of my game when in a battle."

"Actually..." The short girl stepped back a little, sizing up the small group the four of them seemed to make. David's interest was oddly opportune, and the other girl...she had a strange feeling about her. Something interesting, in it's own way. Finally, she looked back at David, a decidedly satisfied smile on her face.

"I think you two should battle. I don't doubt either of your skills, honestly." If her companion had interest in the candy maker's power, then there would likely be no problem. And she would get to see if her more recent theories had been correct. "And you..." She turned to the last girl, the only one who's name she hadn't learned. "...You can fight me, or you can fight someone else for me. I don't know you, and I want to be certain that I will have no disappointments."

Megan glared at the other three, clearly she didn't like people calling her names. "First off, I hate everyone. Secondly, my name is MEGAN. And thirdly, I am more than willing to give anyone a good 3rd degree burn." She folded her arms, looking grumpy as hell. Of course with her personality, you would think that Megan did crawl out from the depths of a fiery pit...and then was immediately peed on by a dog.

Cicile hears a few students fight. She listens for a little but continued with looking around. The forest looks really huge but that could be an illustration. On an other path other classes came to the arena. Cicile looked back at her classmates, she still didn't know who she was going to Battle. A huge man walked to wards the class. Cicile turns to wards the huge man. "Hello sir."

"Aw, how uncouth we are~. Well, you'll have to give that burn to someone else, then. If you can't even take exactly what you dish out yourself, then you aren't yet worth my energy to battle. It was quite silly, wasn't it? Childish, even? To throw a tantrum over your own name being used incorrectly when, based on what I've learned in the past few hours alone, you haven't even managed to memorize anyone else's yet? I'm certain that you know that, though. You don't need me to remind you."

Pico held her head high and spoke confidently, not letting the difference in height keep her from trying to take control of the conversation.

"I'll forgive you, of course. It is only the first day, after all, so mistakes are inevitable. I'll gladly leave you for now to find an opponent of your own to start working your way up with, though. I don't think my skills are needed here at this time."

It was probably dangerous, to talk this big so soon. The seething girl had practically issued a challenge, however, no matter how subtle. Regardless of how it looked as she chided the much taller girl, she couldn't back down now. At this point, she had had to stake her position now if she wanted to make an example later. There was nothing for her if she couldn't stand her ground in the face of fire, be it literal flames or merely the sparking aggression of this...Megan, was it? She would have to remember her.

David smiled at Pico, that she was letting him battle this girl. He was so happy, hequickly hugged her and said "Thanks Pico!" He smiles at the girl he was going to be up against but then looked at the girl who snapped at them. "Instead of saying you burn us to a crisp. Why not put your money where your mouth is." He said with a smirk

Well, that certainly ruined the image. It was difficult to act all proud and authoritative with such a scary boyfriend acting so puppy-like in his affection again. The hug threw the twin-ponytailed girl off of her game for a moment as she tried to process exactly why she was receiving this display.

Needless to say, she probably didn't look quite so high and mighty at the moment. More confused and surprised by it all.

Not that it wasn't plenty cute. Just odd for her to respond to properly at the moment.

"R-right... And don't do anything too crazy; I don't want either of you pulverized at the moment."

There. That was something, at least. Voiced reminders for safety were appropriate, right? She'd have to revisit this later.
His answer to the other girl was enough to remind Pico of her existence however, and she shook her head a bit. "David, you'll have to ask the teachers if you want a second partner."

Megan took a deep breath, as though trying to either make herself appear bidder oooorrrr to make herself calm down before she tries to attack Pico from her sharp words. David did not help with her aggression either, but when he had hugged Pico, it did make Megan smile slightly. One thing that she was ok with and didn't find funny was puppy love, since that was the only form of love she knew for most of her life. "You two look adorable together." And with that, she turned and walked away.

"Wait, what? Hey, don't just--! H-hey!"
Pico watched the girl walk away with great confusion and maybe even a little unease. What was that so suddenly? Why would someone respond with such a thing? She had just...and... What did that even have to do with anything? Did she want to fight or didn't she? What was this?

"W-what is that even supposed to mean?"

It bothered her. It really did. But what could she do? This...whatever it was happened, and it seemed that she was once again in need of a partner.

Could she even fight with the aftershock in her mind like this? She wasn't sure, but she'd have to...wouldn't she?
