"HEY! Wait!! Where are you going, Snivy? Stop that right now!" a voice came from inside Professor Oak's Lab. Oak chuckled as he watched the young Snivy race past him soon follow by a lab assistant.
"Need some help there, Ivan?" He asked, raising a brow as the duo raced past him in the other direction.
"N-No sir!" Ivan called.
"Sniiiiivy!" the small grass pokemon chirped as he raced by, clearly overjoyed at his antics. Another chuckle escaped Oak as he walked outside to leave the task to his assistant. He sighed as he walked outside the door, raising his head to watch the wispy clouds float by. A small smile formed on his face as he thought about Pharros. He was scheduled to visit them soon, he had to wonder how they were all getting along.
He let out a heavy sigh and walked back in. As he did the Snivy raced past him again, but this time he leaned down and snatched up the rambunctious pokemon with one hand. Ivan skidded to a halt in order to avoid crashing into the professor.
"Well, then. Why don't we get you some medicine, little one?" He asked the pokemon, smiling at it.
"Sniii..."
A loud, rather obnoxious yawn could be heard from the Alpha's nest as he woke from his slumber. His eyes slowly opened and closed and finally he pushed them open, only to see Akira's butt in his face. He blinked, a blank expression on his face, and sat himself up, lifting his head up.
Feeling the prickling of the nesting chips on his skin, he shook, hoping it wouldn't wake Akira. She needed her beauty sleep after all. And besides, the last time he'd messed with her while she was sleeping, which was pretty funny, they'd needed another new nest built. Satisfied that he'd gotten it all off and that he hadn't woken his mate, Luke slide his way out of their nest quietly, keeping his body low as usual. With narrowed eyes, he looked out over the other nests from his hill and blinked, trying to blink the sleepiness away from his eyes. He let his body plomp against the grassy hill as his head fell against it and he rolled, letting the wet dew that remained on the ground to grace his skin.
With a smile now on his face, he got back up and slide his way down to the village, wondering what was going on. It was nearly midday judging from the sun. It had been a while since he'd slept that long. He was still yawning as he entered the main part of the village.
Rin had been up since dawn and was currently running around the field, chasing the birds that flew by. However, he'd been doing this for quite some time and decided to take a quick break.
"Man! It's boring around here!" He shouted to himself, promptly rolling himself onto his stomach as he gazed up at the blue sky. His eyes suddenly gleamed with idea as he bounced up just as quick as he'd gotten down and ran over towards the nearest rock. It was about 5 feet high and Rin stood on it like he owned the world.
Just watch me. I'll be the first flying Poochyena! He thought to himself as he took a running leap off of the rock. He felt the wind rush past his fur as he flew threw the air a few feet and then tumbled to the ground in a rolling heap of black and gray fur. He continued to roll down the hill, quite enjoying himself. He could have stopped himself from rolling but it was fun to roll too!
