Evans was standing looking out the window. She had accessed an Asgard core before, she had been to other planets. Though she was on a spaceship, in space. A spaceship. Not a shuttle a real life spaceship. This was amazing, she wasn't encumbered by a suit, or having to worry about oxygen or gravity she was just standing looking out her bedrooms window at planet Earth. How astronauts in the International Space Station could live in space knowing what was going on she didn't know! It must be torture. Maybe they got some compensation down the line? It seemed plausible at least. She turned and hit the door activation button, almost walking into someone who was passing the hatch. She murmured an apology as she walked out of the room.
The ship had really come to life since she had boarded the IOA requesting she have priority clearance. Which she had winced at, the General didn't like people getting special treatment. Something that had been incorporated into the very design of the vessel. From the C&C to the quarters, the lack of the second mess was just good for morale. Something they had learned with the members aboard Destiny who all lived together, she felt bad for comparing herself to them. She was here by choice, they were still stranded after all this time. Though who knew what Ida held! Perhaps they'd find a way too dial Destiny or at least a planet capable off it. She smiled to herself as she walked the halls, deciding to pay a visit down to the research labs before they went off on their mission... which sounded important and dangerous. Though there'd probably be a lot of that. However, for now she could go see if any o their alien friends were aboard yet, and check they were comfortable.
