I thought it was established that they didn't know each other in DGO? o3o the only people who know who Azga is are her parents and her brother. (parents were weirded out by the fact she had a male avatar)

Despite how her Avatar Abilities are named, she’s a Duelist, not a BAHSAKA. XD

I’d imagine that, instead of working together in a team or whatever, it’d be more like…they occasionally use DGO as a place to hang out in. Yuuki sorta just herpderps around in there, and spends more time exploring and chatting and seeing things than actually grinding for EXP. All things considered, I imagine that they’d slowly drift apart as Erika plays DGO more.
