It was anticlimactic, but oh well. My next post likely would've been the end of that battle anyways to be honest. That is unless he could survive over 1000 degrees of heat directly around his body.

I wonder what his end battle fatality would have looked like.

Very intrigued what it would be.

Woah. Ruchette can resist things that are the temperature of plasma? How is that mid-tier? I'm not going to start a huge tiff about it, but...what??

She can resist heat up to 3550 degrees Celsius before burning, but could still suffer from heat stroke eventually.

Does this apply to the inside of her body too? Can she breath air that hot? Also, how can she suffer from heat stroke if she's that resistant to heat??

Well, that's quite a significant fire resistance there.

You're telling me. I'm looking at the other CSes and it makes Raelis feel underpowered lol.

Imagine how I feel, I put all these stipulations on my powers and people are rocking out a cool superhuman build on top of having none-restrictive powers. At least you can still fly around and slice things.

Your character could kill me with one hit from his fire spell.

Yeah, if he was standing around like an idiot, seems unlikely considering he has wings though.

Of course, your character would also have had to ignore Metz downing a bottle of Mana, and then ignored the red circle that appeared beneath his feet after a second of Metz fervently chanting and casting his spell.

A second is a long time in Arena terms.

Fair point.

You can move at the speed of sound.
Your sword can cut through almost anything. It can also resist/nullify any magical attack once it has made enough contact with it. You also have nanomachines to increase the available range of your attacks.

How many points for a win here, Skally? Still a hunna?

I have plans on 'restarting' the points on the first of the year, if possible.

If I can't get Mahz to implement that, then I'll probably just have the points beneath the avatars be the 'global' points and the list on the front page be the 'seasonal' points.

I have training weights so I cant. Also don't you fly at those speeds without consequences?
I wish that were true. Also only useful against magic.
Nano machines are useful though but can't be used offensively in of themselves.

My characters main advantage is his intelligence.

Iarg smurt you allz!

Actually, Raelis can dive at that speed. Meaning, fly up very high and dive bomb. Which is almost solely useful for airborne opponents.

I admit to missing the weights though.

Yes "only magic," is a very limited field, I know.

Nonetheless, whomever I get matched with I'll probably figure out something. The only thing I find unreasonable is the sheer level of heat resistance from Ruchette. I'm wondering why it's that high. Her diamond melts at 1292 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about 700 degrees celsius. So the diamond sure isn't giving her the ability to resist the heat of something like plasma.

Maelstrom's enchantment is the magnetically linked bit, which is reinforced by the light of Devene. Your swords can't do much to that even if they touch the material aside from cutting through it.

The wind bit is achieved via nanobots and the armor pulling in and trapping air via its ventilation system.

I also realized that given Raelis' overall strength and the size of his wings, it's likely he can fly without Maelstrom, just he'd be a bit less maneuverable and fast. However, considering his cruise speed is between 80 and 200 mph I'd say being somewhat slower than 200 mph is pretty manageable.

One day fights shall evolve to 'Looking at the CS and deciding the winner', similar to one of the gym leaders in Pokemon. The time will be spent analyzing the sheets, for any mistakes, three page explanations on why they lead with the left foot and not the right foot, and why they breathe from the mouth and not the nose.

Lol Rilla. Problem with that is a weaker individual can win against a stronger individual with enough planning/tactics.

Probably, it's like the difference between people who play Pokemon for fun and competitive play, the difference in what people get from the game is so huge depending on if the competition becomes more important than enjoying the ride.

I'm getting a bit burned out already, I'll probably quit after this tournament.
