@GreivousKhan I'm also deadly serious about it too. I've gone out of my way, every single run of Dark Souls, to save Solaire's life. He's the best character in the series because he's always there for you when you need him the most.

Solaire is a better waifu than anyone else, and I dare anyone to try to prove me wrong.

I can say I have defeated some of the generic minions and first few bosses with great effort. I beat the opening level easily and thought it wasn't as bad as it seemed...
