By the way, although I describe my character as Torm, you may have gathered they are anatomically very similar to humans. The only differences aren't really visible to the naked eye.

Also this anonymous character intro posting is fun, trying to guess what people are capable of. Your character reminds me a lot of Tablurath Khan, with the mask and the swords, I wonder if he's his mentor or something.

Holy shit.

I read part way through and realized you also had a bunker. But now I notice the week thing as well. Good thing I didn't go for trying to save my dying planet or we'd be facing sum copy right issues. XD

And ya I assumed her was humanoid. All that can be gleaned is he's humanoid for the moment. Along with the color of his aura.

Also fun-fact. The experiment that gave my character his supernatural eyesight is based on the remains of a dreamer. Edbon is one of the only known Dreamer Hunters the Empire have successfully made.

What does aura colour mean in your character's lore, out of curiosity? I might be able to provide you with what colour Metz would have if its linked to character traits or their power.

I'm pretty sure your PC is brand new concept though. Only his pistol kind of reminds me of Clockman. Though the lost/dying world part reminds me of Fury.

One of Ghoukas's followers, i.e. the people the Dreamers fear.

This reminds me of my other character who has a sword that's possessed by a being extremely similar to Ghouka now that I think about it.

Not much aside from flavor really. I imagine a red aura coming from a fire user or someone with a hot temper, blue for a calm collected individual, etc.

Though high concentrations of energy/mana/chi usually either reveals a magic user or someone who manipulates energy. (or has untapped potential to do so)

Skallagrim and the rest of the Dreamers would look like walking well-pools of Amethyst.

Yep, pretty much the only cross-over Metz and Felenr have is with my race called the Ramor, whose planet is getting weird wormholes opening up all over the place due to their proximity to the Nexus and general instability.

Well, assuming the colour is based on the personality and the intensity is based on power, Metz would probably have a very washed out and faint aura. Can't decide on a colour though, it might be a grayish/white-ish nodescript sort of colour.

If nobody requests a specific character for my second npc I'll have no choice but to go with Glory the Samurai Alpaca. If you defeat him you can ride him into battle. XD

I completely agree. Having read the posts so far I'm going to have to step it up and actually do some cool intro stuff for my character.

Edit:

I personally would like to come to understand more about Dreamers and now knowing the sheer narrative skill of some of you, am far more willing to find ways to integrate my characters into the story of the NoW verse.

I didn't have time to read much while at work, but I'll be catching up in a bit and get my own worked up. I may take longer than normal due to upping my quality of writing, or at least trying to. But first I must decide on my second NPC.

You don't need them. Also, not having any would be a good thing in that would increase character to character interactions.

I just want mine for plot purposes as well as a means to help flesh out my PC.
