Chris hopped up on the table and laid down. "No they all suffer from some variation of schizophrenia. You were alone and in some ways you still are. I guess if you think of the real you being in the tube then you will always be alone until someone lets her out. Sorry I guess that's a depressing thought huh? I wouldnt know I had to remove my own chip to stay out of sight while Dorothy Tried to make Jason after the AI stopped him from leaving the mission."

As you started to get things going your head felt like a migraine as more thoughts of the past rushed to the front of your mind in a jumble of tests and experiments on the rats. terminals with jumbled screens but you remember what they were for without actually remembering what they were showing at the time. your medical teaching flooded into your mind in great detail. The genomes and DNA sequencing manipulating the embryos to tailor your needs. The compound that could unlock the vast human potential. You ensured your survival by using the last of it on your newest clone. Yourself. you remember being shot at by Jason from the ceiling ventilation only to watch the cells start to clot a wound that would normally require sutures. Your samples showed your white blood count to be double what it should have been. now you theorize the healing was not limited to the physical but also the neural pathways not degenerating like the Jason clones. As you thought more more knowledge came flooding forward to the science and equations that felt correct in your mind.

Chris slapped you. "Doc you alright? You zoned out I thought it might be a break." He raised an Eyebrow in concern. "Well anyway as I was saying we ere here for the initial test phase of the station and the AI we would set it all up and the others would come after the five year test was completed. The station was put in the hands of the AI in part and the comms were shut off to add stress. After Five years the comm would be turned on. Then the determination would be made to see if the section heads could be trusted or would the stress and isolation be too munch. Seems that Dorothy didn't do to well. Now we just got to survive the Jason's and hold out for four more years. We got here a year prior to operations so we actually have two years on station."

"...I-I'm fine." Dorothy spoke sharply after being smacked, blinking her eyes tightly several times as she pulled herself from the memories that flooded her mind. "I.. Sorry. More of Prime's memories came to me. But, hey, um, at least I know how to work this thing now?" She let out a small nervous chuckle as she brought up the interface, allowing the memories to guide her as she began to heal Chris.

"God.. She was nuts. If I start to go like she did, stop me, ok?" She flicked her eyes up to the man's face nervously, the unnerving effects of the memory flood apparent on hers. "Um... So I think that I'm pretty not likely to go on the Jason path, though. Crazy McGee was improving her cloning skills, from what I can tell? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure. I'm gonna test something after I'm done..." She made idle chitchat as she worked, grimacing at the data showing up on screen. "...But that aside, thanks for filling me in." She let out a small sigh, pushing her hair back once more. "But, I.. I have to disagree. I'm as real as you; I mean, I'm messing with things physically, I'm pretty sure I bleed... I'm not..." She paused, looking up as if to grasp at a word. "I'm not my maker. If I could think of a good name for myself, I'd change my name. " She shuttered, making a face. "Oogh, it sounds so weird to say it like that. I hope you know what I mean?"

"Removing your own chip..." She looked to the X-rays as the machinery around her finished the job. "That sounds awful. At least you ended up ok, though. I feel bad enough about what she did." Her eyes turned to the holes around the room, furrowing her brows. "...I assume, these came from something involving the jasons?" She pointed to several, glancing back to the man. "...God. I'm slightly regretting warning them about the outer rings... They're really scary. How do you think we can deal with them?" She sighed and moved away from the terminal as the machines finished and went back to their places, looking around for something sharp.

"...Ok, I have to satisfy my curiosity here for a moment," She muttered, finding a sharp tool and looking at it closely for a moment. With a deep breath, she slit the palm of her hand, just enough to bleed, and watched it heal. "...Well then. This isn't unnerving at all." She put the tool back as she spoke sarcastically, biting her lip thoughtfully.

"You heal me and that's make you real enough in my book but.." He stopped and shook his head. "I'll just leave that part of the conversation for smarter people then me." What was awful was being hunted down by your, um her Jason clones now at least I have a fair chance." He followed your gaze and as you asked he answered. "Wasn't me This thing doesn't do laser burns looks like a modified laser suture. I could do it but then why would I carry this non lethal system."

Chris pulled the stun rifle closer to him. He watched with a fearful look on his face as you cut yourself. Then a look of disbelief as the wound scabbed over. "Yea, well am I gonna live doc?"

"Heh; Hey, as far as I know, you and I are the only lucid people on this ship," She waved her hand to reassure, pausing for a moment. "Well, you, me, and whoever wrote to me from terminal forty three when I saw Prime's logs. I assume that was you, though? Considering that the Jasons want to murder me, and all." She looked back to the screen, then to the man. "Talking is nice. Honestly, even if you had the conversational skills of my shoe, I'd still be glad to hear anything other than silence, or my own thoughts."

"...Well, according to this, You have a one hundred percent chance of dying..." She paused, looking back to him, deadpanning and drawing the whole thing out. "of old age, in a very, very, very long while." She chuckled after the pause, closing the window. "I'm playing around. I kind of needed a laugh- I've, er, been really close to panicking since I woke up naked in the halls and I needed a laugh; sorry about that. You're a-ok, I promise." She removed her glasses to rub them on her jumpsuit, cleaning off the light oily marks that her hair had left on them before putting them back. "The radiation should be cleared up- I'd like to check up later and make sure there's no permanent damage to your cells- but until then, you're good to go. Don't let yourself get so badly off, though, if you can help it. I recall that it can really do a number on your cells... and, that's one thing I'm not sure how to fix." Her eyes went back to the holes, then to the blood all around.

"...That...Doesn't make me feel any better. That meas a Jason has a weapon that can put holes in metal." She explained, bringing her arms close to her torso once more, occasionally glancing at her hand, where she'd cut it. "Prime was, in her last log, knocked out by someone- and now she's stripped in Cryo- so if you don't have anything like that, it means either a Jason does, or she hid it really, really well." She paused, ace pailing as she went over a memory from the flood. "...Oh, nope, actually.. Nope, it's confirmed that a Jason does indeed have the gun. I remember that I was shot by him- to specify, me, not prime- from the ventilation..." She looked up, nervously scanning it.

"...That reminds me, though...How're we going to get out of the lockout that Prime put on the AI?" She asked, moving a slight bit closer to Chris. "It's not a medical override anymore, but something she made- I don't know how to get out of it, but it's locking down the outer rings and cutting off all life support to them," She looked to him, eyes wide. "...If I remember correctly, the food and water are there..." She looked to the ground, falling silent for the moment.

"...God... What're we gonna do...? The jasons are in the safe zone, one has a gun, and we're all gonna dehydrate or starve if we can't get this figured out. " She looked to him once more, rubbing her upper arms softly to try to soothe herself. "I have so, so, so many more questions about everything, but nothing is going to matter if... If.." She trailed off, not wanting to finish her own sentence.

"Yea." He rubbed the back of his head with his hand. "That was me. I couldn't risk you getting too close but you seemed more rational."
"Don't sugar coat it." He smirked while sitting up at the table. "As for the Jason with a laser, well I don't care for that idea at all. I have to fix all this...Eventually."

Scratching his chin Chris thought about it. "I think you might know the answer to unlocking the AI. It would be something you would think of, unless you knew that and thought of something you wouldn't think of. Then you would have to think of something you wouldn't normally thought of. The other option is you used Jason's code. Regardless the AI cant harm you or destroy the station so as long as you don't interfere with the primary goal it should turn out ok." Chris looked up. His eyes are crossed. "Relax." A smile grew on his face.

"Look just focus on the AI once you get the system back up we can do more. Don't forget to set up a control lock out of everything you don't autherize. Afterward we can talk."

"Ah. Well, judging by the other clones around, I totally understand the caution... Do they ever play sane?" She arched a brow, forcing herself to look away from the blood and holes. "...I'm really, really...Reeeeeeally not liking what Prime did with the Jasons..." The idea to call the Jason clones Argonauts passed though her head, causing her to attempt- and fail- to hold in a snicker and smirk. "s-Sorry. A funny thought popped in my head and I'm not sure where from. I don't think, exactly, it's from prime."

"....I don't know if I do, though. I had to really look for the medical override code-" She paused, remembering that she had items in her pockets. "Oh, right!" She moved to the table and laid out her items- the two key cards, the tape, data stick, and biblical passage out on the table. "...Think any of these could be handy? I checked the pockets of the jumpsuits that were around me when I woke up." She spread them out, placing her clipboard near them as well. "Would entering what Prime put on the AI work to undo it?" She glanced from her items, back to Chris, then moved the data stick and tape back to her pockets. "It was...Delta...something... Red...Subprogram?... Dorothy lockout? Crap, I should have written it down.." She pushed her glasses to the top of her head, rubbing her face as a show of stress.

"I'll... I can focus on trying to remember more," She moved a finger to peek at Chris, or rather, the blob of Chris-colours. "I don't know if it can help, though. So far, I think the memories are hit and miss? It's really, really surreal." She took a deep breath and removed her hands, lowering her glasses carefully back over her eyes. The thought of their safety made its way back to the front of her mind, causing her to think about how Chris said that she'd zoned out when she had her memory flood.

"Ok. I'm going to try? i-It can't hurt, right?" She flashed a nervous half smile to him, shrugging slightly. "If, um, something happens, though, and I'm spacing out, try to get me to snap out of it, please? But if you're in immediate danger- like if it's the jasons- just go. I think, so long as I snap out of it quickly and it's not the one with the gun, I'll be ok." Her gaze shifted to the wound on her hand, moving it around to find that she didn't feel any pain from it. With one final deep breath, she moved from the table, shut her eyes, and put forth significant effort to remembering anything of use.

Chris shook his head. "Sometimes. But the rational moments are shattered whenever they try to think of past events. They grow violent unable to recall what they think they know. What the real Jason would know." Thinking the snicker might be a imperfection in the cloning process he readjusts his grip on the stun rifle. "It's ok." He slide off the table slowly. His face is blank.

"The passage is too short, maybe for the cryo tube." He looked at the other things. "Whats on the data stick?" As you told him he grew pale. He remained silent as he listened to the parts of the code. "Well would you be the type to use the opposite words in the unlock protocol? Just please try. Go to the command center...Wait didn't you call all the Jason's to go there? Damn it must be covered in them." He hit the medical bed. Snapping his fingers he looked at you. "There is the main access terminal in the AI core but I would have to get you in there. The AI will treat any other attempt as a hostile action and suck the air from the room until you died. Looks like we're off on another adventure."

"...I feel bad for them. It must be hell." She sighed, finding herself distracted by the conversation too much to try and bring up any memories. "But, really... I really feel uncomfortable with you refering to the original... Er, DNA-donors as the "real" copies. I mean, we're all real, just.. not them. Can you.. Well, I guess, around me, try not to do that?" Dorothy's brows furrowed as she spoke. "...It feels like you mean we- er, clones, I mean- aren't people, and that doesn't sit well with me." Carefully she looked to his stun gun, noting how he held it. "...Don't worry. I don't think I want to know yet just how much I don't like seeing people get hurt; so violence is out of the question on my part. To be honest, I'm more likely to cry than lash out. " She tried to flash Chris a reassuring smile, gently shrugging.

"...It's some of Prime's old logs," Dorothy explained, bringing the rest of the items to her pockets. "It also has a profile of my DNA on it- genetic mutations and all." She blinked a few time, thinking about how he had admitted to putting a hole through Prime's terminal. "..Don't worry, I'm only keeping it for clues. There's no way I'd bring another clone of me into this." She shook her head quickly, thinking back to what she'd found on it. "I know a bit about what she did... I'm sorry she used you. I feel bad about it, but I didn't even do it..." She moved from the table to look, from a slightly less large distance, at the AI terminal in the room. "If she admitted that on something that could be accessed, I don't think I want to know what she wouldn't admit to. I'm still worried about remembering what she'd did to Jason- or, well any of her clones." She shuttered softly as her imagination ran for a moment after. "Is... That a bad thing? You look like you saw a ghost."

"...Another...Adventure?" She blinked dumbly, looking back to him. "...I don't think, technically, the first one ended. But ok." She let out a small laugh, genuinely smiling at the man for a moment, as if she found him to be silly. "I could try to call them all to another room... but..." She brought her hand to her face, holding her lower jaw and lip thoughtfully.

"Is there any place we could trap them? The shuttle is gone now- thanks, prime," She interrupted herself with her sarcastic comment, "so we couldn't move the dead Jason from there and attempt to trap them there. Cryo couldn't hold that many people and Prime... And, I don't think any of the lab facilities, even the office, could contain them. The one I saw looked pretty strong." She tensed her jaw as she tried to come up with any ideas. "Whatever we do, I don't want anyone to die unless there's no other option." She fell silent for a few moments, eyes tracing the pattern of the floor in thought. "Maybe if the loader bots and heavy lifters can be controlled, and we have enough materials, we can so something with them to trap the Jasons? Like, build a heavy metal cage, or... Hm, maybe have the bots restrain them? I don't know if they follow the AI's rule of not interfering with the crew."

With that, she moved to the doors, pausing as she thought, and waited for the AI-controlled robots to open the door. "...Do they attack you?" She turned her head to look back at Chris, thoughtful expression lit up by curiocity. "Do you think that changing the way I look would help to at least delay their recognition of me, or do they end up attacking everyone they see, regardless?"

"Sorry I don't mean to offend. I have just been running for my life and trying to make sure none of the Jason's did any serious damage to the station." He tried to give a look of reassurance but he was just too tired from being on edge. he listened to the description of the data stick and without thinking put his foot in his mouth. "Why not destroy that thing? It would be better if you weren't tempted by Pandora's box. You didn't do it but your carrying a weapon just like me."

Chris thought for a moment and tapped his finger against the trigger guard of the stun gun. "Without reweilding the door shut I don't think there really is a humane way to handle the Jason's. You would still have to feed them and give them hygiene facilities. They might not attack you if you changed your appearance but I'm no expert in psychotic behavior. I think leaving them in command and going to the AI core would be less of a risk." He caught himself biting his nails on his free hand in nervous tension. "They have attacked me. I don't even know why they never seem to want to talk. I captured one once and all he could do was struggle and tell me how munch he wanted to kill me. I even got him drunk and all the Jason would do was pine over you. Talking about how the tears made him mad and how it was your fault and how he wanted to kill me."

Chris walked to the door and turned to you. He checked the stun gun and looked up with a concerned face. "Shall we?"

"...It's fine. I can understand where you're coming from; I mean, you had to deal with them for longer than I have been alive- if that's even the term? Sentient, maybe? English is hard." She shook her head softly as she accepted what he said.

"It could hold a clue though," She arched a brow at Chris, folding her arms gently. "Something that could be important later. Plus, I'm honestly curious about if the genetic mutations I have did anything else to me other than the weird healing-factor thing, and being able to look at them would really help. I don't even know how to clone, and I really don't feel ok in the Cryo room- Prime's in there, anyways. So, I hope you can believe me when I say that there's no temptation here."

"I don't know. Something to hold them until we can get the outer rings opened? We're on the same timer, to be honest." Dorothy rubbed her eyes, sighing as she tried to decide the most ethical choice. "Maybe having the bots hold them would be ok? Or otherwise finding a way to tie them up. It's not like we'd be withholding anything they need from them- we don't really have anything to begin with." With a shrug she moved back to grab her clipboard- After forgetting most of the lockout code Prime had used, she was determined to write other important things down.
"Wait, what do you mean by "pine"?" Dorothy's brows turned slightly as she found herself puzzled. "As far as I know, it means to long or yearn for someone, but those words... they feel like they have a romantic connotation to me." She brought her free hand to her forehead as she thought. "Is it a love-murder situation?god, Prime did a number on them..." She shook her head, glancing at her hair as it fell into view, then to the sharp tool she'd used to cut herself with earlier.

"Y'know what," She changed the topic as she waited for the doors to be unbarred. "How about we do some science, till the robots fix the door. My curiosity is getting the best of me again, and I don't think I'll be able to drop it unless I address it." She picked up the sharp tool, and grabbed a small lock of her hair. "If I knew where scissors were, I'd use those, but, hey, I guess, while we wait for the robots to unblock the door, this'll do." She took a breath and forced the tool to cut her hair, tightening her jaw at the unpleasant feeling. She let the newly cut hair fall onto a table, grabbing another piece from the same side, the newly shortened piece curling up next to her eye with a lack of weight. "I want to see, if I'm spotted, if a change in my hair would do anything." as she worked to shorten one side of her hair, she thought carefully, paying no mind to how even it was. " I mean, it's possible that they decide their homicidal intent based on colours- it could totally explain why they want to kill you, to- I'm pretty sure we have the same hair colour. I can't tell in the emergency lighting, but I'm pretty sure. But I guess, one variable at a time, right?" She flashed a reassuring smile at Chris a she worked, bringing one half of her hair much shorter and closer to her skull, the curly nature of her hair causing some pieces to stick out every now and then.

"So, how do you going about getting a jason drunk? Do they even accept food or water presented to them when in captivity?" She decided to try small talk as she worked on altering her hair, to help keep the silence at bay. "Do you know what the one jason meant by "tears"?"

Listening to the Idea of gathering the Jason's with the heavy loaders was not the greatest of ideas. "That would be bad, the heavy loaders were not made to be delicate they firmly hold them they would probably break some bones or worse. The arm design was for lifting and handling crates with significant weight. The hydroponics started at a dead lift/ grip of one hundred and twenty pounds of direct pressure to hold a crate. The human body only can withstand fifteen pounds of direct pressure to the largest bone before breaking." It was part of the safety training he took seriously after they showed the slides of mishaps.

He recalled the Jason and how even as a clone he still loved her. "He told me some personal things about the "Prime" and how she made him feel but the betrayal was deep and he had to kill you to stop the spread of clones. He does love you when not confronted with the sight of you." He folded his arms across his chest. He knew that was not easy to hear. Maybe this clone could process it better. She did seem more together then the real one. Maybe.

"To get him drunk took a funnel and a bottle of good scotch. These clones don't do to well on the stuff. I've never seen alcohol hit someone so fast. Not even five minutes he was drunk, really drunk. The things he rambled about incoherent and a jumble but when the sentence made sense it was about the two of you."

"Ill go rout the control to a terminal in your lab from the AI core. There you can try codes until you find one that works." He left not wanting to know if the science would bring about a break sending her on a path of destruction or force her to make another clone. He just wanted to get away from the room. Chris saw the look she had as Dorothy spoke about the lab and the tests. He saw it in other faces on the station....

"..Huh. Damn. There goes an idea. What about barring the Jasons in a space with a barricade of them?" She spoke quietly as she cut her hair, finishing with one side, shaking her head to feel the difference. "Like, we direct them to a corner, and just circle them- maybe put something heavy over the top so they couldn't climb out? That might have potential- depending on how many bots there are. Maybe move anything surplus we have around to fill gaps?" She would have shrugged, if what she was doing wasn't precise work.

"...That's.. Heavy." Dorothy sighed, looking down to the hair that was starting to pile up as she shortened the other side- longer than the other, coming no higher than her jaw. "I wonder... if that explains why I vaguely remember busting out of cryo.. then trying to chase after a Jason who was running away." She felt her face drop, taking the news guiltily. "If I can ever get one lucid, I hope I can apologize to him-one- er, a Jason. God, they need code names, or something; the whole cloning situation has me so confused." Her voice remained melancholy; she could only feel bad about everything Prime had done that hurt everyone else. "...Prime messed them up so badly.I can only hope I can figure out a way to ease the damage."

"Wait, though, she's... She's not dead. She's in hibernation, in cryo." She turned, briefly, to look at him, a quarter of her hair untouched. "Do they..Think she's dead?" She shook her head, turning back to her work at cutting her hair. "...I wonder how it would effect me...? I suppose I'll have to find out when this crisis is over." She thought aloud, growing impatient with her hair cut.

Recklessly, she took the last chunk, pulled it away from her head for tension, and slid the tool through it as quickly as it would go. It resulted in a quicker cut, but she had knocked her glasses to the floor in the process. Swearing mildly and quietly, she crouched to look for them, patting around until they were located. Careful to make sure they were clean and free of extra hair, she put them back on.

"w-Wait, Chris!" She turned to look at where he had been, only to find him missing. "Chris?" She moved from her spot, her newly shortened bangs curling on top of her glasses, the frames keeping them from bothering her vision. "...Dammit."She breathed, finding herself alone once more. Disheartened, she kept her tool with her, in case she ran into a Jason that she couldn't out run or hide from and her experiment failed, moving away from the pile of hair she left behind. and closer to the door. Finding that the robots had unblocked it, she opened them and entered the halls, sticking close to the walls as she made her way to her lab, assuming that Chris would figure out if there was an extra terminal there, or not, that she could work from in there.

She tread lightly as her anxieties and fear from earlier seeped back into her core. To ease her nerves, she fiddled with the ends of her sleeves, and tried to think about what she could do to end the scary situation she was in. The back of her neck and tips of her ears felt cold, now, due to the lack of hair covering them.

Chris left with more questions now that he finally met Dorothy clone. She was interesting and he was glad she was more rational then the Jason clones. It had been a while since he had someone to talk to other then the terminal where he wrote a personal log. It was odd how she seemed drawn to that spot. How exactly was she able to find all those items the real one left behind? How did she not know about the clones? Or her experiments? He just hoped this Dorothy would be able to undo the lock out. He needed the rest of the station. the pod wouldn't be complete if he couldn't work on the outer rings water purifier. What would he do if he landed in the ocean? He needed those parts.

Chris felt bad about lying to her but after what she did to this project he had enough dislike for both of them. They were just suppose to set things up. None of this was suppose to happen. She definitely went off the reservation conducting experiments and Jason that jock fell right into her trap. The cells he took from the core would ensure Chris had energy to send out a distress signal for a few years and use the others to boost the signal. It would irradiate him but when he was found they could fix that.

Chris stood in front of the door and entered his personal code. The door slid open. And the red lighting was unnerving but he stepped inside and the door automatically shut behind him. The room was one large data bank and the electronic eye across the room watched everything. Chris knew it had no self preservation but it did have the priority to mission completion. It couldn't kill directly but He had seen one Jason floating toward earth after attempting to short out the AI from a sub panel in an access junction. Cold logic of the action not resulting in his death but the lack of air.

"Welcome Christopher. All my systems are functioning at peak efficiency."

"Hello. Doctor Cartwell wants to talk to you in the bio lab one via terminal. She is aware of the sensor being damaged." He kept his tone mono. The AI could analyze the tone and used it to identify a lie.

"Would it not be better to repair the sensor? I am interested in the experiment she was conducting. With my sensor repaired I could see her progress and offer my assistance. I am detecting a slight elevation in your heart rate. Are you felling well?"

Damn he knew. He did have the manifest log that included equipment and parts. "I left the repair manual in my room. Doctor Cartwell needs to give you the override code so I can retrieve the pad from my room." Chris continued rerouting the auxilery from command to the bio lab.

"....Why does Doctor Cartwell not issue the command from the bridge?"

"She had work to conduct in the bio lab and the clones of the commander are violent and in the command center."

"One of the commanders is heading to the bio lab one. I cant warn her because of the command lock out and the sensor is damage."

"Damn!" Chris knew he couldn't leave with a open panel in the Core. It was a stupid security feature. His hands moved faster. "I want you to use the terminal when I finish the reroute."

"I'm sorry. I am unable to comply with the lock out in place."

"Damn!" Chris finished the terminal connection and typed a short line of code to make the monitor in the bio lab flash on and off with a single word in bold. "RUN"

The silence felt like needles to Dorothy as she walked, the soft noises of her steps and breathing feeling as if they could echo sound in the cold, empty halls of the station. The only good part about the lockdown was that, in the dim emergency lighting, she wasn't as likely to catch her reflection in the windows she passed by and could see outside the station, to the stars and planets outside. She'd gotten caught up wondering what would happen to her if she made it for the four years Chris had told her about, and what she'd do, if it was even possible for her, if she'd get to leave the station. Catching her moment of spacing out, She continued on her way, quietly arriving in her lab, finding the temperature to have barely changed.

The dim lighting made the rooms feel eerie, and Dorothy didn't dare look into Cryo. Not sure if the lockout allowed Cryo to warm up, Dorothy didn't want to take any chances. Straining herself, she attempted to drag a fallen locker in front of the Cryo door- which still had her broomstick in it- failing miserably, landing flat on her bottom. A disappointed sigh followed as she got up, dusting herself off- some hair that she hadn't caught from earlier falling from her jumpsuit- before she looked around for the screen and terminal Chris had mentioned. It had been hidden with papers and other lab gear, only to be found as the bright word began to flash on it, catching Dorothy's eye.

Her heart dropped as she read the word, the feelings she'd had when she first woken upcoming back to her full force. Deciding that she didn't want to take any chances, she heeded the advice, holding her sharp tool in hand, pointed away from her so, in the event of a fall, she wouldn't hurt herself, took off, finding the nearest air duct to hide in to take advantage of. She needed the lab, and there were jasons about- from the one she'd seen earlier, she assumed that they wouldn't fit in the small, cramped ducts. So, figuring that, if she hid far enough back in the duct, and stayed as quiet as she could, she'd be safe, and be able to wait until the Jason left the area.

As the air rushed past you in the small tunnel you watched the door open and Jason walk into the room. He was armed with a metal pipe and a jumpsuit. He wore no shoes and looked around. This Jason had a overdeveloped thyroid. He was 6'5 and had to cut off the sleeves to let his large arms to move freely. His face looked more cro-magnon The way he moved and examined stuff confirmed the higher functions of this clone to be under developed. Jason sniffed the air and slowly left the room. As he entered the hall he turned right and the doors closed.

The screen now flashed to a security input window. "Please input password for security lockout override." Chris was finished with the redirect for the password and was about to leave the AI core.

"Would you like to play a game of chess? I am an excellent player." The red eye continued to glow showing the sensor as operational.

"No. Thank you." Christopher left heading back to the bio lab one.

At first, Dorothy was only mildly off-put by the appearance ofthe Jason. Once she caught a glimpse of his pipe though, the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, and a chill shot down her spine. She, with absolute certainty, decided that she'd never, ever want to get caught by that jason- She even had qualms about helping him, if she could. Defensively, she slid herself further into the duct until he left, waiting several moments before sliding out, pausing in the process, checking roughly every 10 seconds to see if he was coming back.

Finding that he wasn't, she allowed herself completely out, still tying to be quiet as she moved back to the terminal that had been buried in the lab. Moving the papers and lab equipment away, she found the interface, leaning on the table with a sigh as she began to think.

What could the code be? Her mind raced as shetried to remember anything that could help, eyes turning from the screen to her clipboard, shutting softly as she focused more. Something in the back of her mind told her that nothing she had would work, and nervously, she began to try to unlock more memories, again. If that couldn't work, she'd try what she had written... And, if Chris could return, they could get her to comply, and if they could figure out how to restrain her, they would have to remove prime and force her to undo her lockout in the worst case scenario.

As Dorothy searched for things to jog her memory she looked over the partially erased equation on the board. She sat at her desk and tried to type on the keyboard attached to the shot computer. Nothing worked, even as She stared into the face of the other Dorothy the memories stayed locked. The room was eerie as the emergency lighting gave the room deep shadows. The lowered environmentals started to have an effect. The air was colder and the lowered oxygen levels made you feel out of breath. The terminal with the password screen was the brightest light in the room.

Pulling a chair from the office she sat at the terminal and started typing. Tying the code on the paper.
"Access denied."
date of birth.
"Access denied."
Favorite color with favorite number.
"Access denied."
Date she graduated from college.
"Access denied."
Personal measurements/ Numbers on the cryo tube/ Dates in reverse/ Personal SNS number/ Jasons personal SNS/ Jasons date of birth/ Jasons secrete access code...
"Access denied. Access denied. Access denied. Access denied. Access denied. Access denied. Access granted....."
"Security lock out disabled...."

Chris walked in still holding the stun rifle. "How goes the lock out?"

Dorothy had been starting to lose hope as she punched in the answers to the questions, fully ready to start with the items in her pockets before realising that the last code she'd put in succeeded. She blinked, standing up quickly, letting out a grin and a small, quiet squeal of celebration slip out as Chris entered back in.

"Yeah, actually! I think I just undid it?" She looked to him, happy to see him. "All I did was enter Jason's access code and-" She stopped, realising what she'd said, andwhat it meant, "...Oh. Oh goddamn." She sat back down as she mumbled, putting her elbows on the desk as she blinked, thinking hard about everything. "...Goddamnit, Prime's sittier than I thought." She put her head in her hands, brows furrowing. "First she does shit I can't remember with him, then she kills him, and then she fucks up cloning him at least three times- let alone began to clone him in the first place! And she has the balls to use his code as the password..." She found her tone to be angry, pausing to take a breath as she reigned it in. "...Sorry for the swearing. I'm finding myself more and more irritated with her and the situation she's created." She shook her head, leaning back in the seat, glancing to the locker that she'd tried to move earlier. "...I'm fine though, I swear. Though, I'm seriously considering finding a way to block off Cryo for good, so she can't escape, and nobody can let her out." Her eyes flicked back to the screen, her glasses reflecting the lights.

"Well, the screen says that the security lockout is disabled, but the lights aren't fixed, and the oxygen levels are pretty low. I don't know, exactly, how to fix that? I guess I could try going to an AI station and asking it to return everything to normal; but, with my luck, it'll end poorly." She looked up to a light, then to where Chris was.

"Also, I saw a Jason. I got your warning, though, and managed to hide before he came in- he looked like a caveman. I feel so bad for him..." She shook her head, looking once more at the shorter locks of hair that occasionally intruded in her sight. "Also, before you left, I was gonna ask if you think this is drastic enough a change," She pointed to her hair, shrugging slightly. "I can't find anything really to look at myself in with the lights so dark, so I'm not sure how different it is. It feels different, but d'you think it would be enough to get an extra moment of hesitation in the event of being caught by a Jason?"

Chris let her rant. It was good to get that stuff out in the open. Heavens knows he did his fair share when all this crap started to hit the fan. Some days that's all he did while hiding from the clones. "I completely understand. I can't make munch sense of this Jason business myself. Why make more then one after the first died? Why try to change him in this way?" He looks down at the floor and shakes his head. Taking a deep breath Chris looks back at you shrugging his shoulders. "Sorry. It's easy to get caught up in that line of questioning. Just glad your here now."

Chris nodded about the AI station. "Yea come on there is one in the rooms across that still works." He snaps his fingers and pull out a PDA (personal digital assistant)from inside his jumpsuit. He starts typing and hands you the electric pad. "Here just go with these commands."

Commands....Commands....Your head started to hurt and the rooms lighting didn't help any. Chris was saying something but you couldn't focus. A memory returns. Sitting at the console typing a code to access a command file. Directive from command earth,
"From director central command,
Doctor Crawford You are hereby authorized to conduct phase one of the experiment and ordered to send all data collected back for analysis.
End."
Phase one was only suppose to be single cell alteration. Phase two was animal testing. Phase three was human cell testing. Phase four was DNA manipulation. Phase five was cloning. Phase five! Prime went from animal strait to phase five and she never even had the authorization to get past phase one! The memories merge and now the whole experiments come together.

The equations to the science and the single cell tests of phase one using the element found fought off most types of bacterial attacks they were immune to the rest. you remember the slides watching a a single white blood cell attacked and assimilated the infection. Test after test proved positive. Jumping to phase tow proved less then encouraging trying to get the dosage right of the compound to animal weight was wrong then you realized the dinosaurs took it as a environmental factor. It was inhaled! you took subject twenty three out and with a tube sent the powdered dust into his lungs. After only sixteen hours did the first changes occur with increased intelligence. The rat could learn simple commands and hand signals but after twenty four hours the animal developed a a sudden case of death. The dissection proved the augmentation to an original base mammal destroyed the original DNA making the changes permanent but the body unable to integrate the new tissue safely. The new tissue was like a cancer feeding off the healthy tissue. Different delivery systems different dosages all proved fatal. Out of animals you decided to go further in the name of science. It would have to be something that was present with the initial stages of the subjects development so the body could match the new growth. Something introduced at the DNA level. You threw stuff and broke beakers as you had depleted the small amount you had of the compound. You needed more.

You came to on the table. Chris looked at you still holding the stun gun. His face showed genuine concern. "Morning. You were out for a while. Do you remember anything?"

Dorothy groaned softly as she woke up, opening her eyes softly, finding that her glasses were off as nothing exactly came into focus. The throbbing in her head became dull, though she could still feel it, slightly. With quiet noises, she rubbed her eyes, sitting up slowly, as to not aggravate her headache. "..mm.. My head hurts," She mumbled, patting around, trying to look for her glasses. Unable to find them, she rubbed her eyes again, opening them a few more times as she tried to work without them.. "...I remember that.. I'd just fixed the lockout.. And then you were trying to show me commands? And then..." She shut her heavy eyelids, bringing a hand to gently rub her head. "Then I got more memories from prime. I don't like it; She was breaking stuff... Went from stage one to stage five... Ugh." She wiped her nose carefully with her sleeve, worried that she'd had a nosebleed like she did when she saw Prime's logs.

"It's like... All she cared about was her science. Definitely not a comforting thought." She grimaced, looking off to the floor. "Lots of death, too. Animals, but still... death. It's almost like a bad dream." She pulled her knees close, hugging them softly as she collected herself. "A really, really bad dream. " Her voice grew quiet as she tried to get over the fear and discomfort the memories brought. "...She scares me." She remained in her position for a few moments longer, before slowly getting off the table, resting a hand on it carefully.

"How long was I out for?" She asked softly, looking around the room. "And, um.. Where are my glasses? I can't see without them a-and," she shut her eyes, bringing her spare hand to her head, "I don't think that being without them is helping my headache, any. Eveything's as clear as the medbay doors." She sighed, shaking her head softly. With a yawn, she was reminded of how parched she was, finding her mouth drier than what she'd have liked. "...Did we fix the doors to the outer rings? I.. Um, I need water." She toyed with her sleeve as she spoke, pinching a part of the fabric between two fingers and rubbing it softly.
