Psychological Record: Alice is a surprisingly carefree individual, considering the circumstances. She usually says and does whatever comes to her mind first, and with the drastical accelleration of her every thought process through augmentation, she can easily outpace people in casual conversations. She is prone to mood swings and quickly loses interest in things that don't run on a source code, traits representative of a brain working on multiple processors. While she usually spends increased effort focusing on the mission during deployment, she often jumps right into all sorts of predicaments. Alice is not exactly of a rebellious nature, but needs repeated reminders to
think first by someone of authority. She takes her dire situation with an unhealthy amount of humor and definitely lacks on the department of self-preservation.
History: Arisu was born into a normal family, living a normal life. She had no siblings and her parents spoiled her, loving her unconditionally. Despite that, she never really cared to fit in too well, into anything. She had no goals, no aspirations, nothing really interested her too much. The kid spent most of her time indoors on her own. Computers fascinated her more than people, and needless to say, she spent more time with them than with the kids in her region.
When
Lost Saturday happened, she was at home. The IEDs spared the house of her parents, though she felt the earth shaking. Her parents didn't come home that day and Arisu was later found to be depressingly indifferent. When she was recovered from her abandoned neighbourhood days later, MPS claimed the girl for their projects purely because she fit the profile. With all living relatives gone and evidently nobody else caring for her, she wouldn't be missed, she was young and appeared resistant to stress.
It was during the following months that she would liven up, discover her penchant for artificial intelligence, explore her gift and shed her birth-given name - for unspecified reasons, she wanted to be called
Alice. The MPS conducted various experiments and research in order to fathom the extend of her gift, supplying her with technology and expensive "toys" to see how far her extraordinary comprehension would reach. Alice was fourteen when an unfortunate accident during one of the experiments happened. A critically malfuntioning AI caused several explosions within the testing area. According to official data entries those detonations inflicted devastating damage to Alice's extremities. While the damage was not life-threatening after the first phase of surgery, it was decided to apply implants and augmentations to restore and enhance her motoric functions. Inofficially there are implications of data in the reports being altered, suggesting that the events leading to the surgery were less than accidental.
Subject Alice's response to the treatment was overwhelmingly positive. The Alchemist-Type enhancements greatly increased her operating speed, and soon she issued a request for an additional cluster of Gemini-Type neural catalysts. She eventually began tampering with her own augmentations, including the neural catalysts, and the MPS turned a blind eye - though secretly kept tabs on her modifications, even those violating official safety regulations.
Nowadays she is a highly specialised technician seeing deployment wherever interaction with AI of any kind is expected.
Gift: Binary UnderstandingAlice's "gift" is difficult to summarize in a short, compact term. She doesn't benefit from it
directly, it is more of an elementary foundation for several of her abilities.
She has a deeper understanding of computer language than most, without ever having taken coding lessons. It is a unique mixture of intuition, reading between the lines and outright
seeing things hidden beneath cascades of source code that enables her to do the things she does best. Practically, this manifests in two major "abilities" she frequently makes use of.
Advanced AI hacking enables her to reprogramm an AI in unreasonably short amounts of time after establishing a connection to the machine's processor. While the complexity of the AI in question still makes a minor difference, no amount of encryption or other protective measures can stop her from taking over any code-based AI. She can either rewrite one of her preset AI scripts to semi-permanently turn any machine against its masters, or divert more capacity of her neural cores to assume direct control over a single AI-based device at a time. This is entirely untested with
sentient AI.
Binary blind spotting is a unique, extremely advanced and straining practice, but essential for safely getting close enough to hack combat-machinery - it turns the user virtually invisible for all digitalized perception. By tapping into the binary flow of
-all- electronical devices around her, Alice can trace so called
binary blind spots in her environment. While the existence of these blind spots has not been scientifically proven yet, there is no "better" explanation available for this consistently reproducable effect. Taking advantage of the phenomenon, Alice can process a stream of data through all of her augments that practically shifts her entire body into one of those blind spots. While this has
no effect whatsoever on the natural eyesight of a human being, she completely fades from every digital form of perception. In this state she is invisible to heat signature readings, infrared, motion sensors, targeting devices, visual camera feeds and other visual data feed. It becomes impossible to pick up the sound of her footsteps, augment motors or even her beating heart outside of purely biological hearing. However, that also means she can not stream data to external devices (like a hacked AI), receive radio transmissions or be located by allies.
The data stream necessary to maintain the blind spotting puts all her augments under
incredible workload and creates
significant mental strain. Using this function in short bursts is suggested in order to maintain full functionality of all affected augments. Staying blind spotted for longer than ten successive minutes will cause fatal malfunction of neural catalysts, damaging the brain and likely incapacitating the user permanently.

Augmentations: Custom Pheidippides Phase "Five-Point-Two" Leg SystemSubject Alice is using a highly customized version of the established state-of-the-art Pheidippides leg augmentation model. While it is not the latest fabrication of the series, she made several additions to the Phase Five herself, including an aural dampening generator and improved heat exhaust turbines. All in all her "Five-Point-Two" system reaches performances close to the Phase Six in terms of running speed, jumping height and kicking impact at a reduced noise and heat generation. It is completely impossible to camouflage the Five-Point-Two, even with retracted heat exhaust modules the non-standardized leg augmentations are blatantly obvious.
Custom Alchemist Phase 5 Arm EnhancementThe Alchemist series is a less "intrusive" augmentation that usually only substitutes parts of the individuals arms, but always completely replaces the hands. In this case, the aug begins with polymer coated light metal bones and myomeric muscle replacements of the forearm and ends in completely mechanized hand replacements. The major advantage of an Alchemist system over the more popular Goliath is increasing the speed, precision and general dexterity of finger movements beyond the scape of the humanly possible, making it necessary to complement Alchemist modules with a neural catalyst system to be able to utilise the operating speed this system provides. The system allows the user to execute complex finger coordination at unbelievable speed and precision, enabling them to dismantle complex mechanical constructions or type really,
really,
really fast. While the system also enhances the physical hand to hand capabilities of the user - specifically in speed and precision - it is not intended to come under extended physical strain, as the precise machinery in fingers and joints would take damage and suffer motor deficit.
Subject Alice manually modified her Alchemist models, too. She disabled segments of the motoric automation function that are meant to take stress off the brain when calculating high speed movement - because it was "slowing her down" according to archived reports. She also disabled several layers of the workload limiters in their BIOS. As a result she can temporarily overclock her Alchemist processors to reach even greater speed, but that also causes more mental strain and heat development in the modules.
Gemini-Type Neural Enhancement AI CoresThe Gemini-Type AI Enhancement units are sets of two AI cores that are implanted inside the human skull to enhance brain functions and allow the human mind to match processing speeds of high speed augments, such as Alchemist-type enhancements. The selling point of Gemini-Model is that several processor and AI cores can be synchronized to provide a more reliable boost of the users mental capacity. All of the synchronized cores can emulate mental processes individually at the same time, but when one of them suffers a critical malfunction, the backdraft is buffered by the other AI cores, preventing violent and potentially lethal seizures. While those malfunctions usually only occur under extreme performance spikes that even high-end augments hardly ever cause, Subject Alice has tampered enough with her hardware to actually reach those dangerous workload levels regularly. Subject Alice is using two Gemini-Type core clusters, adding up to a total of four catalyst AI systems in her brain. AI #1 is working under the official safety regulations for neural catalyst AI enhancement. #2, #3 and #4 have been altered and violate that regulation.
EYE-SEEn Retinal ImplantThe EYE-SEEn is a mass-produced variation of the EYE-SEE Retinal Implant membrane that sacrifices subtlety for higher data-saturation. Like the EYE-SEE it is implanted in the human eye and connected to the optic nerve, but consists of three to five layers of the original model. The EYE-SEEn can display more layered data at the same time without significantly diminishing eyesight, and comes with a retinal control interface, enabling the user to control on-screen data via eye movements. While this is generally more of a niche product than the EYE-SEE, it is popular among personnel that operates computer terminals frequently.
If paired up with an Alchemist Arm Enhancement System, the EYE-SEEn can visualize a three-dimensional, holographic keyboard interface and simulate motoric functionality in real-time, allowing the user to operate external operating systems (assuming a suitable uplink is established), or their own neural enhancement cores without actual interface hardware. While it is -usually- not within the mental capacity of an average user, the function theoretically supports simultaneous handling of multiple operating systems.

An impressive and intimidating handgun that fires ammunition specifically made to pierce coating and armor meant to withstand bullet impacts. It fires two bullets almost simultaneously, ensuring both hit the exact same parameter of the target - ensuring maximum armor penetration capability. Its firepower is offset by the low ammo capacity and enormous recoil, preventing rapid fire bursts.

D2-VTS 'Firefly' Throwing KnivesState-of-the-art throwing knife technology combines practicability with deadly elegance. "Fireflies" mave microfiber-level sharpened edges that cut through organic tissue and protective plating without receiving a scratch. They are perfectly balanced and can be thrown accurately over short and medium ranges. Equipment: Digital Breach KnifeCustom-forged blade made of D2-Vacuum Treated Steel with a built-in uplink receiver and self-ejecting hybrid myomer-cables that autonomously connect to digital data streaming material. Penetrating the hull of any mechanical device with a DBK will anchor it in the target and create a port for wireless data streaming that invades the present AI process, allowing a capable user to directly alter the AI's source code. The expensive and limited nature of this type of device requires recollection after use.
Used to cut through the external hull of any machine and establish a connection with its nervous system. Acts as a receiver for Alice's data uplink, giving her the chance to hack anything and everything she can impale with this thing.
