Well... hi.

Yeah, it took me about 20 mins to decided to start with that. Hey, it's better than the other options I had, such as a post made up entirely of movie quotes, everything in pig-latin, or possibly a mixture of the two. Trust me, a boring ol' "well... hi" is the best choice. And everyone will have to forgive me and my lack of spunk... I am running on 2 hours of sleep. I do not regret not sleeping, it is part of having a 2 week old baby (my husband and I are happy to have baby number 2 in our life... 2 kids under 2, what were we thinking!?!?!).

I have decided to return to the world of Forum RP. I started out long, long ago in a galaxy far--- er... 2003 on theforce.net. My best mate in high school drug me to the forums, introducing me to the world of Roleplaying. I was hooked... and even got myself attached to several long running stories (even a few non-star wars games as well!!). For almost 10 years (and on a handful of other forums) I spun stories of all shapes, sizes, and genres... and creating/GMing a good number of my own tales! It wasn't until about 5 years ago that I left the forum world all together.

A co-worker stole me away to the RP community on a game called Second Life. It was addicting to have the same level of writing in breathing digital world! I could make my character do and look how I was describing them! And it was fast paced! I could get more story in 3 hours than I could in a week of forum RP!?! It seemed perfect.... that was, until real life struck. In Second Life, if you were gone for a handful of days, you missed a LOT of the story... and people would even write off your character. And let's not even go into how much money I spent on character's clothes, hair, etc. After 5 years, I realized that I truly missed forum writing. Aye, the dialogue and plot seemed better... but the more I thought about it, the more I missed seeing other writers describe their character, the world around them... all the good setting details we need here in the forum world.... and, above all else, I missed working as a team to create a story.

So... why am I here. I've tried all my old forums... most of them are dead. But this one... this one caught my eye above all others. I saw a few stories in which I felt I could groove with. I am here to weave a story with you all. I miss working as a team... I miss plot lines, not self-serving plot devices!!!

I am not sure where I am going to start... there are so many great options here... but I can honestly say, I really look forward to seeing you all out in the games!!!

Happy Writing!
