If I may make a suggestion regarding card packs. You know how we need to win multiple duels in order to earn enough points just to even get a pack, and more for a structure deck? Well, how about either getting a pack per win (or saving 10 points per duel so you can use 30 to buy a structure deck) and winning just a few random cards per loss? Y'know, kinda like how we're doing with the Tag Duels right now?
I don't really like the thought of having to spend so much time and effort just for an uncertain "reward" from a single card pack. We'd be stuck with very little ability to upgrade our decks.
I've been thinking of making fun events and tournaments giving card packs/random cards (while tournaments also have wagers where you can ante up on + point prizes based on your place) players whilst just regular duels give points.
The values of points won and stuff still need to be tweaked, but I've been thinking of 10 points a win (just for clarity), 5 points a loss, packs cost 15 points each and come with 2 packs, booster boxes cost 80 points and come with 3 promo cards (which I'll make up) and 13 packs, official structure packs costing ~30, custom structure packs (In IC, they'd be an event deck just as a reason why they're more expensive, they really cost 60 because I don't want people exactly the cards they need extremely early) costing ~60.
Of course, this price change means that all of the people who chose card packs at the start get 15 points for free (neat!).
Because of these fancy shmanshy new archetypes, we'd need to create new boosters with support for them, so if you have any more cards that you want in your archetype (cough cough Parshath), send me your ideas for new cards. Or I could make them for you.
