Alright, the reason for this mass-tagging of everyone is simply because I've been wrestling a major decision regarding the amount of characters. This decision is whether or not to double the amount of daughters and sons per-god/goddess. It was brought to my attention that, due to the current amount of one of each per-god/goddess, it somewhat limits the possibilities of making a son or daughter for the gods/goddesses.

I think the upside is obviously that we'll have more possibilities, but the obvious downside is that there will be twice as many characters, which might make it a bit of a clusterfuck. I'm honestly split on this. That is why I'm bringing it to a public vote. As it stands, I'm throwing my vote for both sides, so it's 1-1 right now.

So, to you, my players, I ask this:

Do you vote yes on doubling the amount of sons and daughters for the gods and goddesses or do you want to keep the current, one-per, system we have in place?

To make it easier for me, either post your vote or give this post a like for yes and a laugh for no.

Said resultant seed, Harada Danaye, grew into a quiet, independent girl with a penchant for laissez-faire leadership, but leadership nonetheless, of most group activities within the school. This, coupled with increasingly frequent visits from Ares as she sprouted into adolescence, nurtured the belief in the God of War that perhaps his daughter wasn't cut out to languish alone amongst humans in Japan for the rest of her life, and she found herself directed to Olympus Academy in a new country across the world. Rebekah Cross is a firm believer in speaking only when she has something to say. Small talk for small talk’s sake simply fills a void that rarely needs filling. Idle chatter is neither informative nor purposeful, so she rarely indulges. Her quiet nature, however, belies a mind that never stops working. She never stops thinking, no matter the time of day, about whatever has her attention at that particular moment. Most people… Are very much a distraction. Idle chatter is the name of the game for many, and given that she doesn’t play ball, she can come across as very detached. Not quite antisocial, but definitely introverted.

If one manages to get in her good books, however, they’ve earned a long-term friend. One that, to the shock of many, doesn’t really stop talking. Long diatribes are a firm indicator, unbeknownst to many, that she actually cares enough to tell you what she’s thinking.

Background:
Athena has never been quite like the other Gods or Goddesses. What attracts many is meaningless in her eyes, while what is meaningless to many is meaningful. As a Goddess of Wisdom, she is attracted by exactly that. Wisdom. Which goes a long way to explaining why she was drawn to a small-time author in the American Southwest. Their relationship wasn’t very long, but it was long enough for Rebekah to be conceived. They parted on very pleasant terms; part of wisdom is knowing when something won’t work, and expecting a relationship with an immortal Goddess to last is definitely on that list. That isn’t to say, however, that they ceased all contact; unlike some of her siblings, Athena stopped in from time to time to see her daughter. Advise Rebekah’s father on his writing career when he was out of ideas, as well. She isn’t the Goddess of Inspiration for nothing.

Nor was Rebekah her daughter for nothing. She showed an exceptional intelligence from a very early age, and worked out for herself (long before her father was ready to tell her) that her mother wasn’t quite normal. Both parents gave her the full explanation when she was barely in her teens. If anything the knowledge made her more driven. She was a high school graduate by sixteen, and taking classes at the local university by seventeen. Despite offers of admission from more prestigious schools, supporting her attendance financially wasn’t a possibility. Not right away, at least. She intended (and intends) to transfer schools in order to finish her degree, but Olympus Academy is another step on the road before she does. She took a break from university courses on her mother’s suggestion, recognizing that while she could learn normal subjects with ease whenever she wanted, the understanding of her heritage that the Academy offered couldn’t be found elsewhere.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
Friendly, though not necessarily all that close. Athena made an effort to be around during her daughter’s life, at least from time to time, but her very nature made it impossible to really be Rebekah’s mother. They’ve been closer since Rebekah learned of her real nature, but Athena is still more of a semi-maternal adviser to her than a family member. Whether this is exactly as she would like it, or if she would like something closer, is a piece of knowledge kept close to Rebekah’s chest.

Godly Abilities:
She Who Knows Herself: Fitting for the daughter of Athena, Rebekah is blessed with the ability to analyze and understand that which she sees. Be it magic, technology, or somewhere in between she can fathom its inner mechanics and principles. In simple terms, if she sees it, she can understand what makes it tick.
Ancient’s Memory: More mundanely, Rebekah has a nearly perfect memory. What she sees, hears, feels, tastes, thinks or smells; she can remember all of it with perfect clarity.
Hippeia: Rebekah is exceptionally fleet-footed; supernaturally so. Athena was worshipped under the title Hippeia, ‘of the horses’, for her invention of the chariot. From this aspect her daughter derives her godly speed and sure-footedness.
Promachos: The First Fighter. She who fights in front. Though best remembered as a Goddess of Wisdom, Athena was a Goddess of Strategy, as well. Specifically embodying strength, the strategy of war, and justice. In this way she is as martial a figure as she is a wise one. From this her daughter inherited the ability to win her fights not through brute strength, but through preparation. With the proper understanding of her needs she can craft a tool, provided there is some kind of material at hand, and imbue it the properties she needs at that moment. As a Goddess of Strategy, known her her invention, Athena’s parentage permits Rebekah whatever tool or weapon she requires. Provided she has the wisdom to understand her needs.

Marianna's skin is flawless and there are no birth defects, tattoos or scars on her body. Her hair is usually styled in different ways-ranging from a bun, to being loose and curly, to a pony tail to a plait or straight with layers. She tends to stay clear of make-up and heavy accessories, only wearing a necklace of a wolf that had been given to her by Hecate as a secret gift and her earrings.

She fusses over her two boys and over-looks her constantly, for not being her own child...she resents that her father had a child with another woman in their short split. Growing up, in such a strict and unpleasant house-hold, Marianna became withdrawn and submissive. She never spoke out of turn, if she did-she suffered in silence and kept her feelings to herself. Writing and nature have always been her escape from reality-and it's something that keeps her at peace.

She never really knew much about her own heritage-only hearing of myths and legends about the Olympians and admiring their children and gifts. When she turned 11, that was the first time she discovered her powers-she had saved dying flowers in the field restoring them back to health after they had almost been killed by a drought. That same night, she was watching the moon in the sky and she felt drawn towards it, more than she had during her life. Discovering her powers of the moon-it wasn't long before she found out that she was special. Marianna tried to keep it a secret; but her own father knew she was different.

When she finally turned 15 years old-Hecate finally came down to her daughter and told her off her heritage. After spending many years watching over her child, she wanted her to know the truth and that she had been there, when others were not-even if she could not be seen. Naturally, Marianna was shocked and a bit scared about what was to come. She got accepted into the Academy 2 years ago-and she is still searching for her true path and goal in life. Even with other people like her around-she's worried about not fitting in and people judging her. But the Academy has been more of a home to her than Italy ever had been.

Marianna doesn't really know Hecate that much. The goddess had appeared in her life a few times over her child-hood; mostly watching and protecting her whilst growing up. They have spoken a few times; that was when Marianna found out about her heritage about a Demi-Goddess and what she could do. In a way, Marianna admires her mother and looks up to her, and wishes they would be a little bit closer. She longs to get to know Hecate a bit more-and she hopes that her mother will turn up one day again.

Godly Abilities:

Daughter of the Moon: Marianna has the ability to possess magic over the moon. The power is rather dangerous yet handy at the same time; if she is wounded she can control and draw out the moon's magic and heal herself. If controlled for long enough, Marianna has the ability to turn into a large dog/wolf. The magical essence in the moon, helps her ability with shape-shifting. Marianna has only form and one only-the wolf is her chosen form. However, she can also unleash secrets and dark magic, if she looses control or taps into another essence of the moon, that she cannot control.


Reviving of the dead: Whilst Marianna doesn't posses full powers over Necromancy-she cannot contact or revive the un-dead. She only has the ability to revive certain things from the dead. Her expertise are based over over some plants and smaller animals such as birds, rats, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, and specific type of Wolves.

Poisonous Mist and immunity: Marianna possess knowledge and power over poison. Her powers allow her to create and manipulate food and drinks so they become poisonous. To the naked eye, they may look delicious, but one taste and they're deadly.
Marianna herself is immune to certain poisons herself, due to her genetic coding and ability to manipulate poison. However only some can harm her to an extent most of them do not have the full affect on her system due her immunity.

Marianna also possess some knowledge over Magic, but she is not as developed with some magic like her Demi-god siblings and is still learning.

Magic of the Plants: Marianna has an ability and knowledge about plants. Her powers and knowledge allow her to form any type of poison plants known to man. Also, If a plant is dying, a single touch from the Demi-Goddess will restore the plant to full life. There's so much she can do with the power, she once manipulated 3 different plants into a larger-hybrid flower.

Marianna also possess some knowledge over Magic, but she is not as developed with some magic like her Demi-god siblings and is still learning.
