"A prince? Well that bit is still yet to be seen, and as for evil step mothers, I'm sorry but I can't help you there either."
Dorian lets out a soft relaxed laugh, Invisible nerves escaping him as he finds comfort in her humour and soft smile, losing himself to those playful eyes.
"But most undoubtably, you were by far the most fairest and beautiful maiden of them all." his voice lowers and resonates with the sincerity of his words.

Dorians grin never left his lips since Saoirse answered the door.
He nods politely in reply to both offers. "Thank you, tea would be lovely." has says stepping inside.
With interest and intrigue his eyes wonder about the small apartment as he follows Saoirse inside, takes a seat and places the heavy glass shoe on a nearby table.

"So...Can I see it?" he asks with a child like curiosity, calling out to her in the kitchen.
"I mean your arm, the name."
An excited puzzling intrigue filled his curious eyes as he twists to see her.

There was a devilish curve to his lips and a daring glint to his eyes. 'Show me' they were saying. 'I dare you.'
It was a nerve wracking idea that standing before you was the person whom you were destined to be with, if only their name matched that on your arm. Dorian was cutting straight to the chase in an as playful manner as possible.

Saoirse was startled by the man's sudden request and ended up burning herself on the kettle, yet remained silent. She flicked her hand slightly to cool it. Ever since she had been in the presence of her visitor, she had noticed that she had become clumsy.

She poured the tea into a couple of mugs then proceeded to where her visitor sat, handing him the mug. "Be careful; it's pretty hot." She warned before sitting in a chair a few feet away. She took a sip of tea and stared back into his dark eyes. Once she finished her sip, she looked down at her tea and exhaled deeply, relaxing instantly, before she looked back up at him. "Y-yeah. S-sure." She replied, her eyes held fear and confusion. She was afraid. She didn't want to show him the name, yet she could not find herself refusing his request. She held out her thin wrist as the burning sensation in her wrist intensified greatly; as did the fear in her eyes.

The feeling of his warm skin brushed softly against hers as his fingers slowly crept around the back of her hand to meet his thumb that rest across the small of her wrist. He gently guides and angles her arm as so he can best view the marking. His face glows with deep intrigue.
Leaning in closer towards her, he levels her forearm horizontal which applies a gentle natural pull for her towards him.
Their faces close together now, he only notices when his eyes look up to speak. Time all but slowed for Dorian in that moment, nearly stopping completely. He could hear the heavy beating of his own heart, feel the warmth of her breath as it escaped those luscious lips. Practically taste her scent, the mixed aroma the day left on her skin. Every flaw and perfection upon her face clear in a new detailed perspective.

Details he wouldn't soon forget.
Details he needed for the job at hand, and he never forgets a job.

The fingers around her wrist measured heart rate, blood flow, pressure and temperature. His ear listened to confirm all that he felt while measuring the depth and intensity of breaths. His flared nostril built a story from collective smells. His eyes scanned for the most minute and minuscule of details, signs and clues no other would ever see let alone interpret.

All these details guided the stealthy hand that was hidden behind his body as it reached for the tools hidden in the back of his belt line.

The one detail he never considered and nearly missed was the marking upon her slender wrist. The last thing he ever expected to see.
'Dorian Radshaw'
His name... 'Impossible' he thought to himself as the world began to frantically spin around him and deep sickly darkness began violently consuming his disorientating vision.

....

"N' no.. It's, its not possible.."

he barely managed to murmur the words as everything went black, everything went silent.
Dorian dropped the silenced ornate heavy steel pistol that was held in his hidden hand and slumped to the floor in unconsciousness, crashing into the table and splattering his boiling tea everywhere.

'DESTINY'

The word was delicately and intricately carved along the silver coated barrel of his gun, naming his chosen weapon.

Saoirse fear turned to horror as she saw her visitor collapsed in front of her. She rushed over to his side and kneeled beside him. She immediately turned him on his back and placed her head on his chest, checking to see what caused him to collapse. After a few moments of searching and finding nothing wrong, she sighed in relief.

It was then that she noticed the gun that had fell from his pocket as he collapsed. She could hear her own heart beat ringing in her ears. "I-i see... So that's why you came here... You came to kill me..." She murmered. She wanted to run yet instead she decided to stay and help him instead. She picked up the pistol in one hand and in the other she slung his arm over her shoulder and carried him to her bed, where she gently layed him down. She looked down at the pistol in her hand, then placed it on the nightstand next to the bed. Saoirse covered him in her comforter then kneeled down beside him and watched as he sleeps for a bit. Hesitantly, she caressed his cheek, then she herself ended up falling asleep, kneeling beside him. When he woke up, she would be there, waiting patiently beside him. Then he would have a choice to make; kill her or let her live.

..."What the hell?"...

Saoirse will awaken to the unwelcoming, unfriendly pressure of Destiny's cold steel barrel pressed up agains her face.

'God damn she's beautiful!' The uninvited thought consumes Dorian as he gazes upon her waking form.

"You do realise I am here to kill you, right? A plan that's been coming together even since before the dance. You probably thought it some fairytale meeting predetermined by destiny right? Well wrong! This is destiny." he nudges her with the gun. Dorian was once again cool calm and in control, this all coming unnervingly natural to him.
"Why didn't you run? Or try to kill me instead! You even had the chance, it would have erased my name and given you a new one!""
An agitation grew on his voice laced with a hidden disappointment.

"why?"

It wasn't said but was written clear within those cold steady eyes. 'Why instead did you sleep beside me.'

'Click'

The heavy metal hammer of destiny cocks back as Dorian readies his hungry gun. Saoirse can feel his steady grip faulter the slightest. 'Was that hesitation?'

"open my sleeve, just do it."
Dorian commands as he leans out his empty arm, covered by his buttoned long sleeved black dress shirt.

Saoirse woke up to the feeling of his cold steel pressed against her head. She looked up at him and smiled calmly, she showed no fear in her eyes. "I know. But... You made me feel happy... You made me feel safe. don't care if our meeting was planned from the very bbeginning. To me, it felt like a fairytale. I don't want to live a life where I am alone anymore." She said as she grabbed the barrel of the cocked pistol and lowered the barrel placing it directly in front of her heart. She looked into his eyes and stared at him awaiting for him to pull the trigger and end it all.

"So do it. Kill me. You'd be doing a service to for all humanity by killing a monster like me. So end my suffering. Please." Her words were sincere and held no fear. She fell silent as she stared into his eyes, her smile never left her face. She didn't look at his wrist, she already knew. This man in front of her was her soulmate and the burning in her wrist was affirming that belief, and she was glad that it was going to be him that ended her life. She closed her eyes and patiently waiting for death to come for her. Her hand never left the barrel of the pistol that was now pressed against her chest.

Zoey | Vampire | New york city | Emerald Bar and Resturant | @Vee

Zoey watched as the girl panicked in front of her. God, she couldn't of looked that bad, could she? She sighed quietly when the green haired girl shouted "Oh look! A distraction!" And reluctantly let go, she wasn't going to hold anybody hostage, especially not her soulmate. Slowly, she turned and looked at the door as the girl ran into it and bounced back, crashing into the floor and knocking herself out. Zoey shook her head slowly, walking over and crouching down by the unconscious girl. This was her soulmate? She was hoping for somebody less... scared of her? Zoey wrapped her arms around the girl and easily picked her up with her vampiric strength. She stood up, walking around the bar and out of one of the doors behind it. She walked into a room which had a few tables and chairs which the waitresses used to eat lunch and socialise during breaks. As they didn't have a bed she laid the girl down on a big comfortable couch carefully with cushions from the other chairs.

After Zoey laid her down, she stood up and looked around the room. She went too the door, closing it gently as too not wake the girl. She walked over to the armchair opposite the girl and sat down, her head slowly falling into her hands as she let out a long, deep sigh of sadness. She didn't want to have a soulmate who was scared of what she was. She wanted somebody who would love her and stay with her. She looked up at the girl again, really hoping that this was only a reaction to being very surprised and not disgusted or scared. Zoey had enough prejudice and scared Humans in her days as a vampire, even if it has been only 11 years. She was dreading the rest of her long, slow life.

.....Dorian frowned at her choice of actions. Her disobedience and bravery didn't please him nor sit well with his situation. His furrows his brow as he decides to do something he really doesn't want to. Dorian lifts the arm he had offered to Saoirse towards his mouth, biting around the buttons he tears it open and the sudden sorrow was apparent in his eyes.

"Is your name on this list? Is this your name? This is you on the wash list right?" he clutches at straws already knowing the inevitable answer as he thrusts his wrist in her face, gun never leaving its position.

The sight was far from what could possibly be expected, something never ever seen before.
Something one would be happy to never ever see. The skin was unnatural, dead like but alive. Paler. Wrong. Secondly there was not one name but a list that stretched up towards his elbow, and the names... The names were not written in the neat clear font of everyone else's. No, but etched into his flesh with jagged viscous lines, each one was formed by putrid wounds and horrid scars. The skin red from swelling, the names wriggling and crawling. It was unnatural, it was unholy.The sight was sickly, not from vision alone but by the nature of its aura. And it looked painful!

Saoirse would recognise her name in the middle, and the one closest to his hand also catches her eye. Similar to the name on her own wrist she notices the name 'Radshaw,'
Clayton Radshaw.

Dorian sighs heavily but the words come to him without thought, as if reminding himself or looking for his own answers as he explains the situation to her.

"The S.MUS is defective, fractured," the incomprehensible sentence just blurts from his mouth. His lips move as he readies to continue his speech only noticing the confusion in Saoirse's eyes at the last moment. The very same eyes he could still lose himself in, those deep mesmerising pools of longing... He snaps out of it and focuses instead on his gun, he looks down at the barrel regaining clarity, staring at the solid steel pressed down firmly against her soft bres...

"Ahem he clears his throat and retracts his pistol, instead using it to scratch his head. Still cocked and loaded. " the Soul Matrix Unification System." he looks at her for a moment half expectantly, letting it sink in.
What? It's the 21st century, everything gets a cool acronym, regardless of the actual technology used." he gives a little casual playful shrug signalling it wasn't his idea and showing no concern for his predicament.

"there are malevolent forces that interfere with the plans, mostly the supernatural." there was something undeterminable in the glare he gave her following that statement. "you could say I'm the tech support, a cleaner. Or even a reaper. Either way I tidy up the loose ends, the people and souls that no longer belong in the system, the ones holding up and preventing the matching of others. It's probably not even your fault, your just part of a faulty line. But trust me, your negative effect grows exponentially over the generations and will eventually prevent hundreds of highly compatible connections." he gives a playful nod and wink. "HCC"

Destiny falls to align itself with her head again. "so do you understand why I have to do this?"

Manu - were manned wolf - NY

Manu sighed, today wasnt the best day. He tried and yet couldnt figure out what was Jose opinion on the situation. He promised him back a year ago meeting his own soulmate would not change anything...then why couldnt he get that sad look Abel gave him as he left out of his head. Why couldnt he just forget it. Who was demanding for him to have anything with his soulmate? Some letters in ink on his wrist. What do they know about him to have the right to decide anything!

He sighed ruffling his locks. He was slowly going towards Abels door. Jose was right he could at least be polite. Either way in a few short days he will be back home in Brasil and the distance will take care of everything... Maybe he should encourage the other to find their own love not be commanded by some letters?

He was now in front of the door. He didnt took a suit with him, so Jose brought him one. It was a nice grey suit with baby blue shirt under neat. Somehow his wild hair made him feel out of place with the fabric he wore. He rung the bell.

And more then anything he found himself wishing Abel doesnt wear that sad face anymore. He waited for the door to open.

@Teddiplier
Danilo - Dragon kin - NY

Danilo was silently listening. A millennial huh, no not ONE but A FEW implication of more than one, did his soulmate see the rise of Egypt with his own eyes? Was he even older than that? Did he watched gladiator matches in Rome? It was the first hint of how old his soulmate was truly. And the only feeling it made the young dragon feel, were excitement at all the stories and places one in such a long life is bound to see and witness. In his 90 something years and he had already quite the collection himself.

But the rest of the tale wasnt as happy, to think that this other side, it felt nearly like a whole other person the way Adam spoke at moment about him. To think he killed their own soulmate. ...Yet, he was about to kill them himself, not even a full hour ago.If it wasnt for the smell of soulmate he remembered or the fact the body healed so fast... He didnt allow his mind to go there.

He moved around and placed the plates down, one cream vegetable soup placed in front of Adam, the two chicken fillet served like a art piece in front of himself and Adam, fresh buns on the center of the table. As well as a small mixed salad with white soft cheese on top, meant for Adam. Lastly Danilo placed a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream on top beside his portion of meat.

He stopped and watched carefully as Adam slowly turned his head eyes, betraying the tears that they shred. "S-Sorry...I-I'm just rambling on about my p-problems...."
Danilo shifted closer and placed a shooting hand on Adams back, slowly making circles with it.
"Nothing be sorry about."

He answered to the words, moving to kiss the top of his soulmates head. Feeling the strand of hairs tickling against his skin. They felt so soft, he liked it. He grabbed the chair and moved to sit on Adams side. His hand never leaving the back.

"I see a solution to you worry. I just have to live several millennium my self, to catch to you..." With his free hand he pulled his plate of chicken meat closer to himself, in opposite to where he placed. On the other side of the table like in every dating movie he ever saw. Who cared anymore, this was the most different date ever.

"You are my first soulmate. I will relay on you to teach me more about love, and how to show it to you. As well I noticed you didnt really mention any family... Well I dont have a small family. And they are.... kinda important in my life. Will will have concurrence when it comes to killing attempts there. Hope he isnt the jealous type. " Danilo chuckled, hoping to lighten the mood and show his full intention to acceptance of all of his soulmate. Even if that means two sides of the same yet different picture.

"Lets see...My parents will love you and most probably occupy you. I may actually have to steal you away from them. Like a knight steals his princes from the dragons home. You see they both are history buffs, my mom loves facts and my fathers the mythology and its creations. So just imagine how they will shower you with question the moment they hear you age."

He took a small break to take a gulp of his drink, wondering if he should offer Adam wine or not. Instead thinking about that he continued with his family description something that was dare needed for Adam to be well aware. " My mother is a dragon shifter and father is a dragon kin. I will tell you in greater detail the difference another time. Simply know at all times, Mom can become big and scary. Seriously big and seriously scary. And I would prefer not to find out if my soulmate can stay immortal inside someones belly. Either way I was the forth child from five. Oh my siblings... "

His cheerful voice dropped just a bit and Danilo opted to take a big bite of his artistic meal. He allowed the chicken to all but slide down his through. Swallowing the piece whole, one could all but see how the piece slide down his neck. Slow sensual gulp. Licking his lips slowly and pleased with his cooking. Half of the fillet still rested on his table and filling ready he started on his siblings.

"You see even if I wasnt the youngest I was the favorite of my parents. The one who didnt get in nearly as much trouble as my older siblings. The five of us fought between each other quite bit. Hm..... pretty much think of it as peeking order. It was natural. They are all stronger then me. " There was a bit of shame in the last sentence, but Danilo bounced back from it just seconds later. "They are ever united when it comes to hating me, and attempting to kill me. I am a stubborn one, keep on living aganst all their shemce and efforts. Each of us has different gifts of magic, I am the only one with fire. The most iconic dragon elemt, yet I have no wings or tail, not even horns to make me more menacing.
You see They know when my day is coming, just as I know when their dates come. One just cannot hide that from your family. And to speak the true I am awaiting a surprise attack from them." He stopped and looked at the closest window as if awaiting to see it break into pieces. When nothing happened in a few silent seconds he kept on.

"... Or from my parents wanting to get to know you. Or worse a family get together with out sending the memo to me. I was really on edge and still am because I wouldnt put past my siblings to attempt to play 'rough' with my soulmate just to antagonize me... But you are mine. And that is something that I will have to get into their hard skull and horned heads."

A glint of the same fierce look appeared in Danilo eyes, the same protectiveness he showed concerning his horde. Maybe even more intense. "You got to know, my family is scary, but once we are all tired out and past the I hate you and I hate you all. We are really a lovely bunch.... And I know, I know my chat group told me phrasing it like that sounds really bad. Oh on a side note, how often do you internet? Do you have a chat account you would like to share? We so could have midnight chat in bed!" Danilo chipped up, moving to all but swallow the rest of his meat. WOndering if it all was to Adams taste.

Mood

Saoirse saw the names on Dorian's arm and immediately found her name. It looked painful. With her open hand she grabbed his wrist and gently kissed his arm hoping to ease his pain; sadness tainted her eyes as she made eye contact with him once again. "Please. Kill me." She repeated her voice held loneliness and sadness. " I don't want to be alone anymore! End my suffering and kill me! .... Please... I beg you... " Her voice became surprisingly desperate. She looked away as the gun was pointed back at her head, trying to make it easier for him to pull the trigger. She didn't fully understand his reasoning but accepted it anyway. She grabbed the barrel of the gun and pressed it firmly against her forehead.

"My name is Saoirse. Thank you, Dorian. I am so happy to have met you. Thank you for being my soulmate." Was the last thing she said as she closed her eyes once again and a happy smile crept up onto her face. Her body trembled slightly as she spoke and she even started to cry a little bit, yet her smile remained, as she tightened her grip on the barrel of the gun.

Abel hears the doorbell. The sound making him realize he had been pacing in his suit. One of the few expensive things he ever bought himself....besides the house. He makes his way to the door and takes a deep breath. Steeling his nerves. He slowly undoes the lock on his door. Another deep breath. He opens it and sees his soulmate in a suit. He smiles, a true happy to see the other smile. One that could light up a room.

He opens the door the rest of the way. "You look.....amazing" awkwardness increase as he internally facepalms. He walks out onto the entrance and closes the door. He rubs the back of his neck and makes eye contact. Hoping to make memories to last him...for however long he's going to live. He smiles again. "So...uhm...shall we?" To think he actually used to be good at talking to others.

The kick was powerful, but not enough to stun the towering brute for more than a few seconds, though a few seconds were all the vampire needed to put a safe distance between herself and the Alpha while she nursed her hands. The broken bones were healing, but not as quickly as she would have liked. It had been a long time since her last feeding, and she couldn’t be sure if they had drained her while she was out, but they probably did.

The room spun around Trixy in unsteady blurs, she felt that molasses feeling coming on again. This was more than just holy water or vervain. 'How is she still standing…' the wolf thought internally, unaware that Trixy was listening in '...there was enough venom in that dart to put a vamp’r out for a week.' Ahh, of course, she should have known! Lycanthrope toxin was enough to incapacitate her like this, and a dose even a little bit stronger than what the dart contained could have killed her. What the Alpha didn’t account for was that she had repeatedly exposed her to it over the years in an attempt to build up a resistance to her enemy's most effective weapon - it a torturous habit, but one that she was grateful for in that moment.

“Hmm hmm hmm…” the wolf laughed under his breath once he regained his composure. “You’ll pay for that, wench!” he declared before charging after her.
the bastard grinned, backing the injured and poisoned vampire into the corner of the dungeon.

No… was the only thing she could think. Before, she could have written the rape taunt off as just that, a taunt… a torture tactic to use before he went in for the kill. “Tell me,” he said before gripping her wrist and smirking at Bartholomew’s name. “Does my son like that, or am I killing you before he got the chance to fuck ya?” Between her fury about this being Francis’ murderer, the trauma of knowing that her body was violated, and the pain of broken bones being squeezed in his grip, Trixy had a choice to make. Emotions were messy in battle, and the only way she could hope to survive this was to shut them off completely. So she did just that, flipping the switch on her humanity until there was nothing left but the survival instincts and murderous rage of her vampire blood.

Now able to completely block out the pain she felt in her hands, Béatrix shoved the brute off of her with a low hiss. He stumbled back a step before straightening up to send a right hook towards her cheek. Predicting his movement through her ability to read his mind, Trixy ducked in time to dodge the blow and land a swift punch in his gut. He grunted and then offered another breathy chuckle.

His taunts couldn’t affect her anymore, though. They traded blows in the way that only those who have spent centuries fighting could. To the human eye, they were moving too fast to be seen and too silent to be heard outside of these four stone walls. It was stupid and prideful for him to have come down here alone, but such was the alpha way. She would take advantage of his pride.

Trixy made a misstep and the wolf landed an uppercut to her chin, sending her reeling backwards. The room once again started spinning around her, and her ears began to ring. In the time it took to blink out of the venom-induced daze after the punch, the wolf had unsheathed the dagger on his belt. His intent was to injure her enough so that he could shift to his wolf form to take her heart out, to execute her just as he had her husband. She was so tuned in to his thoughts at this point that she could predicted almost every move he made.

The first thing that you should learn before deciding to arm yourself with any weapon is how to disarm your opponent of that very same weapon. A fight can turn sideways, that weapon could wind up in your opponents hands, and it was up to you to get it back befre they could use it on you. Without emotions clouding her judgement, Trixy was a sharp and lethal as the edge of his blade. He struck to the right, and she faded left. He struck left, and she faded right. He tried to go directly for her heart and, instead of dodging, she brought her left forearm up perpendicular to his striking arm and grabbed his wrist. She reached over his arm with her free right arm so that his forearm was now in the pit of her elbow, then grabbed his wrist and locked him in place. Trixy stepped towards him and used her back and torso to crank his arm backwards at the shoulder. The next step towards him caused him to trip and release his grip on the dagger so that it clattered to the ground. It was a flawless knife disarm, just like they teach you in the police academy.

Without her humanity, she spent no time gloating over her victory. Killer instinct took over and Trixy executed him in the exact way that she had fantasized earlier: by pulling his head off at the mouth with nothing but the her mangled, bare hands and vampire strength. Wordlessly, Trixy tossed the top half of his head aside and stood up. Her previously white nightgown was now peppered with splashes of rust and scarlet. She stood still and quiet, eerily tilting her ear up to listen to the sounds above her like a creature out of some horror film. If she was sneaky, she could get out of here alive. If she was stealthy, she could kill every wolf in here without a sound AND get out alive. You know what option she went for.

With no way to know which wolves were the ones who raped her, all were deemed guilty. Creeping along the shadows of the castle, Béatrix claimed each and every one of their lives using the blade of their own alpha. Perhaps she’d find time to laugh at the irony later… because she would remember all of this later. That was the worst part about flipping your humanity switch. Each and every awful thing you did, you would remember with vivid detail afterwards… that’s why a lot of vampires just left it off. It was easier to not have to deal with the pain of guilt and regret.

Wolfsbane added fourteen more bodies to her death count when all was said and done. She had even murdered a human girl… she was probably just an innocent servant, but her blood was simply too tempting to resist on such an empty stomach. That, and Trixy wasn't herself. Or perhaps she was more herself now than ever before? Once Béatrix was out of the castle, it was time to figure out where she was. She climbed to the roof and peered out across the landscape. Determining which direction was northwest, Trixy took off in a full vampiric sprint towards her nearest haven.

~~~ Back in her castle in the woods ~~~
Trixy didn’t have much time. The apha could still have men on the look out for her, but she had to shower and grab her things before heading out into the public eye to catch a flight out of here. Béatrix stripped out of the bloodstained nightgown and stepped into the steaming shower. The water ran down her ghostly pale skin in red rivulets. Trixy looked down at her hands, which were still coated in blood. His blood. She focused on the color, on whose blood this was. The emotions she could stir up would be enough to flip her humanity back on, if she wanted to.
Knees hit the bottom of the porcelain tub with a sickening crack. As the shower washed away what was left of the blood, Béatrix leaned forward and began to sob. It wasn't just sobbing, it was violent, body-quaking wailing. She wept not for the girl she had murdered nor for the other potentially innocent lives she had taken in her rage. She didn’t even weep for private, aching parts of her body that had felt the most vile form of violation… there would be time for that later. No, these were the cries of a woman in mourning. She wept for the chapter of her life that was falling like sand between her fingers. That wolf who had made her a widow, had also made her a monster, more so than even her vampire blood had. Five centuries of preparation and heartless assassination had led up to this day and now… it was all over. Who was Madame Vengeance without an enemy to hunt? And what did Béatrix de la Croix have to live for,
if not revenge?
"Well fuck."
Dorian rolls his eyes and steps away, he unloads his gun and slides it back into it's holding area. He then looks back to his list. The 'wash list' he called it, essentially a death list or contract. He covers it back up with his torn sleeve.
He sits on the bed next to Saoirse, face blank and distant.
" You know I met and loved my first soul mate, we were even married, for a short while... I didn't know my soul was still around, let alone that I was carrying it. Tell me, how long have you had my name?"
He turns to face her as he asks the question.
His eyes find hers and they tell that he could never kill her. Even if he doubted the emotion he felt, Saoirse could see it in him.
They were soul mates after all.
Saoirse opened her eyes and met his steady gaze. "I'm sorry. That you lost your wife..." She paused and a guilty expression arose on her face. "How long...? I don't know. I have no memory before 8 years ago. I don't know who my family was or even if the had once. I don't even know how old I am or when my birthday is. But for as long as I can remember, it was your name on my wrist. And since I had lost my memory, I have been waiting for the day when I would finally meet you so I would be alone anymore."
She looked at the floor and fell silent for what felt like the longest time. "You hate me... Don't you?" She finally said. "To be paired up with a sloppy, poor, ignorant woman like me must be a disaster..." She sighed then stood up. "Excuse me." With that said she began to leave the room however she stopped at the doorway. "I wasn't lying, you know. I really am happy to have met you and I am thankful that you are my soulmate. You made me truly feel happy and safe and for that... I will forever be grateful for that."
Saoirse then left to the kitchen and soaked a washcloth in warm water and proceeded onto her hands and knees and wiped the area where the tea had spilled. She picked up the mugs and went to the kitchen sink, emptied out the old tea, then poured fresh chamomile and honey tea into both mugs. She placed Dorian's mug on the kitchen counter, where he could see it. She then went over to her painting and examined it, trying to remember what she was working on prior, for a few moments before looking outside and siping on her tea; carelessly burning her tounge yet again. "Damnit!" She hissed with a slight scowl at her mug.
He was on his way home. A party for a fellow friend to commemorate the union with his beloved. A trip that should of been without trouble. The night was clear, and a cool breeze drifted across the moor. Yet he couldn't help but feel something was off, that there was something not quite right. How that night would change his life for eternity.
The attack was sudden a swift. He had been walking when he felt the air blown out of him, falling to the ground. Before he could register what had happened or get his breath back, he heard the sound of bone cracking next to his ear and pain envelope his mind. He barely saw the yellow tinted eye in his peripheral vision but knew at the time well enough it was canine. He used his other arm to grab the creature's muzzle the best he could and crush it, to make it let go if it wanted to breath. He was surprised it worked but had to be quick as the creature rushed him again. He felt its claws dig into his flesh as he wrestled it off of him, using all his strength to get it off.
He knew he couldn't keep doing this, he had to run, had to find someplace that could give aid. He ran as fast as he could with his wounds unsure how he would die. From the blood loss or the creature tearing his organs out while he still drew breath. He saw a light in the distance and ran towards that, praying he could make it. He could hear the beast chasing him down, closer and closer it got, safety only a mere few feet in sight when the world went dark...
--------------
Tholo woke suddenly in a cold sweat, unsure where he was. It took himself a brief few moments before he realized it was his house. He didn't remember himself walking home, but there he was on the floor of his home. He groaned standing up wondering why now had the nightmare returned?
He never knew who turned him, a question that he buried in his past, eventually forgetting any attempt to seek out the wretched beast that had turned him. He accepted what he was now but the first few months if not years, he was terrified of himself, hated what he became and even attempted to kill himself. He had never had a choice of being what he was, only that it had happened and was stuck with the consequences. He really wasn't sure what he would do to the one who turned him if he saw them. Kill them for taking his old life away or embrace them for giving him a new one. More then likely he would not care, ignore them, by now they would be nothing but a long lost memory that was dragging up old wounds that were left best to be forgotten.
He walked over to the table where he had seemingly dropped his wallet and phone before collapsing into slumber. Once again he checked the phone for any return message from Trixy, still feeling that something wasn't entirely right where ever she was. Not just because of Trixy's sudden silence but another feeling, as if something had been cut within him, not painfully but just that as if an old tie that he had once had was now gone but why he had no idea.
Dorian lets her walk off without saying a thing in reply. What had he done, the damage was deep. His sympathies were soon stored away for a later date as he focused on his bigger concerns.
He eventually calls out.
"No she's not dead. She is still very much alive and out there, that's why I do this. You see I died, I sold my soul, and after that the name on her wrist changed. I was one of those broken links in the system! See that's how bad it is, you shouldn't even be able to get my name.
I don't even know what this means...
Even if I decide not to do this, these lists aren't exclusive. There will be others after you. Others older and stronger than I."
Dorian sat in deep thought, having never left the bed. His face blotchy and red in places burnt by the tea, otherwise completely expressionless as his mind races a million miles an hour, completely oblivious to the things around him. He madly sought after a solution to his problem, but he wasn't exactly sure what the problem was, he only knew it couldn't be good.
"Good. Let them come. I'm not supposed to exist, right? Then let me die and find your wife." Saoirse immediately called back. "I already told you, I have nothing left to live for." Her voice was a-matter-of-factly, yet sincere, something that could easily be found irritating.
After another long period of silence, Saoirse made her way to the bathroom and got a first aid kit and returned to Dorian, kneeling in front of him. "Don't move." She said, her voice was surprisingly stern and sharp like a blade, as she opened up the kit and pulled out a tube of burn ointment. She dabbed some on the tips of her fingers, then gently rubbed the ointment into his burns. "You aren't dead." Was the only thing she said as she treated his wounds.
Her touch was soft and gentle, practically nonexistent, making the treatment much more soothing than painful. The ointment quickly took effect, curing the minor burns in a matter of moments; she covered up the larger burns with a bandaid. "It'd be a shame for such a pretty face to have a scar, right?" She finally said.
Saoirse then went to her closet and searched through an array of shirts, before finally finding a plain black T-shirt and a dark, long sleeved, flannel outer layer and threw it at him, draping over his face. They were much too large for her, however, for Dorian, they would fit like a glove. "Sorry that it isn't as extravagent as your usual choice of clothes, but this is the only clothes I could find that would fit you." She said. "You can change in here if you'd like." She then returned to the bathroom with the first aid kit, giving him some privacy while he changed.
Dorian stood in silence, shocked, angry and confused. He had just finished unbuttoning his shirt when he decided he had had enough of her attitude.
His fingers balled into a fist around the shirt he was given and he threw the fabric at the floor as hard as he could storming off to the bathroom after her.
"Should fate be so merciful as to allow for us to meet again, I would give anything for that chance!"
Her own words reach over her shoulder in Dorians stern agitated voice as he appears beside her infuriated.
"By the mercy of fate we have met again, and you haven't the need to give anything away for it. Especially your life! " He takes her hand in his. "Know this, I would fight heaven and hell, and any or every creature that would will our destinies apart. You have my word!
I don't exactly know what's going on but...
Its too easy to say my heart belongs to another and try to avoid situations of intimacy and bonding, but I have seen it first hand the power and control of the marked name. While I don't want to love another, if I must eventually. I'm glad it is you who has my name.
"
He opens his eyes and opens his heart to her so that she may see the truth of his words. He seals the promise with a kiss, his body follows his lips and presses against hers. Soon after he peels himself away, it was his turn to disappear, and that he did.
"You're right I would give up anything to to meet with you! That hasn't changed! But don't you dare fucking lie to me! you said it yourself! You came here to kill me! I'm not supposed to even be alive! I'm a mistake!" She screamed angrily back at him, tears started to run down her cheeks, as she whiped around to meet his eyes. He dared to use her own words against her when he had just put a gun up to her head.
After declaring his promise, he firmly placed his lips and body on hers in a tight embrace; her tears flowed even heavier and she could only stand there in shock as he kissed her, feeling mysteriously weak, then watch him leave.
Once he had left, her knees gave and she collapsed onto the ground in shock. She lightly touched her lips, grazing them with the tips of her fingers, as the memory of the sensation was fresh in her mind. Her heart was beating to the point where it was painful. She didn't know what to do, how to react. Her body reeled and fell numb as she climbed to her feet and made her way to her bed then collapsed, blacking out instantly. In her dreams, she would be haunted by fragments of long forgotten memories. Blood. The scent of death. Screams of agony. Tainting her mind as she slept.
On the palms of her hands, her chest, and her forehead, burns started to appear on her skin from the silver plating of Destiny's barrel, rousing memories once long hidden in amnesia.
Manu maned wolf -NY
The door opened and Manu found himself releasing a breath he didnt know he was holding. Somehow his soulmate was looking dashing. It wasnt because of the cloths, thought they added a lot to it, but the smile. The beautiful mesmerizing smile. A deep part of him wanted to pounce him and lick the face. It quickly got pushed back when Abel commented his own looks.
"Mm." That was his answer, a mm to a compliment. Yeah he must have sounded really intelligent with that. Again he reminded himself that it didnt matter either way. Watching Abel lock his door and offer to get going. Manu reached out and took Abels hand into his own. Yes, he told himself he only did it because he was polite and a bit on the touchy side. Nope not other reasons not at all. He started to lead the way out to the street and towards their destination.
"So, hotty, from where did you fall from?" Manu, attempted to speak, his tongue faster then his brain. Not believing he turned a bad pick up line to use instead to ask like a normal person from where is Abel from.
