The main problem is that there were tons of worlds gathering dust and spreading people out. We can building new worlds over time.

The actual multiverse hasn't really started yet in it's reboot. My characters haven't gotten anything typed up yet in ways of rivalries even if I do have some plans in the works.

Indeed, I know I added a new world myself which is where Jacer comes from and aim on his sort of being tossed into a random world abruptly. His main reason will lead him to explore the multiverse world and I'm hoping, bring along PCs with him with their own reasons to join his trip or at least give him a ride. There is possibility for manipulation, betrayal or worse in that story as he seeks getting home. Something he has to find first. And who he allies will ultimately determine his world's alliance in this overarching war.

There is going to be noob tourney. We are currently in the end of the year NoW event. But you can join the NoW lobby where a multiversal event will take place. Get to know other fighters and participate. You can craft a character, have the community review it to help balance it. The most important thing is to become active.

Indeed, which I'm excited about if I can make a PC.

As for the NoW information, that would've been nice to know… but meh. *shrugs*

Anyways, be sure to inform people you want help with your CS else they might not bat an eye. I'm still waiting to see what peeps think of Jacer and if I actually met my goal of a low-mid level powered PC. It seems like it. >_> then again, there is a lot of info.

Just focus on the idea of worlds colliding as the difference between space and time gets all wonky, that's how I work my head around it. If you just keep in mind that integral to the world most of us who have loitered around Arena are trying to make is a vast number of diverse worlds and peoples all being thrown at each other by what essentially amounts to wormholes you realise you can literally tow an entire world of your own into the Multiverse and no one will bat an eyelid. Hell, bring in an entire empire, or on the flip side a humble tavern keeper, it's really completely up to you.

I wouldn't worry too much about the past, there really isn't that much to catch up on, and the chances it will influence you aint all that high. There are a few remnants of past attempts still stuck to the Multiverse, but that's mostly out of our desires to not have years of past stories mean completely nothing, there's still plenty of room for new people to engage the multiverse, and most people will probably be jumping in completely fresh anyway.

Try it, there's something immensely satisfying about having an encounter in Arena mean something in regards to the bigger picture, or not, that can also be interesting.

This pretty much sums it up.

Another option is asking someone if they have a world that could use more PCs in it and talk about it, ask what’s possible, what (with their permission) you can add to it and get more information. No different than what you do with a GM over a normal rp really. I mean, you ask for information then try to make a PC that is suitable for that key world.
