Ixonia looked sideways at the intruder as she was thinking.....

"Nor am I surprised at that, Tipsy. Plus I am not....." she quickly became quiet so that she could listen to the other female.

Ixonia kept an eye on the female so she could see what might be going on between the two females. As she watched them, she began to plan her attack on the female's mind. She waved her hand a large snarling book flew into her hands.
“Hush now, Hades. I need help to see what is wrong with this girl….” She whispered to the snarling book as she petted the spine and play with the chain. She slipped the chain on her wrist while Hades settled down in her lap comfortably.
It had been a very long time since Ixonia used the Grimoire but all of her old Magicks were stored inside. She easily flipped open the latch. Her finger ran down the index to find the chapter that she wanted called Mind Entering Ways.

Entering the mind of someone is very tricky, particularly if the person does not want you to do so. You never know what is inside the mind. Anything from hobgoblins to demons can reside inside. Extreme care must be taken. If you do not know what is going on you must get the very basics of the person. Know the items on the list before attempting entering the mind.
1) Know the person’s name.
2) Find out anything that you can about the person including
Name
What is going on in the person’s life
Who has associated with the person

Ixonia glanced upwards occasionally to watch.....

"Can everyone leave me the Frick alone?" She would stand up. Her height added to by the black blood stained boots. Growling once again. Women she didn't like. Always trick filled. Always mean. She slowly started to move from the two. Away from his gaze as well. No she just needed another drink. He wasn't here. Just her mind playing tricks because she had to much stress today. A different more pop like song started play. Instantly calming the girl down. 'I want Him back here. He kept the demons away..'

Ixonia walked behind the female but not very close to her. She stopped a short distance a way and spoke softly.
"Pardon me, miss but did I hear you correctly? Or did I hear something from your brain? I am sure that you spoke 'I want him back here. He kept the demons away..'. If I knew who it was I might be able to find him but I need to know information about him." Ixonia spoke to the female.

"I don't need your help. Don't need anyone's help. You must have heard wrong." She would say rudely. Though her body inched closer to the stairs he went up. The torments of voices start up again fausingber to sit down in a different seat. Closer the stairs. - never good enough. You are the reason he's gone. Now you just have to suffer. Maybe Leon will show up too. Wait no you fixxed that problem.- she would again seem notably distruaght. Flinching as people move about the bar the the gaze to be fixxed apon her again.

"Oh hey what band is that? Oh it's some new indie folk band called Shut the Fuck Up Liz I Don't Wanna Sleep With You!" She grumbled to herself sarcastically flopping into a chair defeated. A simple question but it didn't stop the girl from yanking her head off. Bitchy drama llamas weren't her type anyways.

Hmmm...wonder where Alex went to. Liz pondered lighting another cigarette. She was just about to call it a day and go back to her room.

"Very well then. I am sorry to disturb you, .... what is your name anyways? I like knowing who I am with and talking to. An odd quirk of mine I know but I do need to keep records of who I meet and speak to, right Hades?" Ixonia spoke as she petted the Grimoire.

The Grimoire panted with the red page marker and suddenly took a liking to the female her mistress was talking to so a wet ribbon liked tongue licked the female's face.
"Naughty, Hades. You don't go around licking people's face. I am so sorry....' Ixonia spoke quickly as she tucked Hades to her chest.

"If you need my name stop talking. I'm not giving it. " she growled once again as the book licked her face. She wanted to tear the book to shreads but kept herself in check. Her hair slowly turning black. As hey eyes flicker. The stress being imposed by the constant naging of both the voices the gaze and the lady taking their toll.
' sorry to disturb me my ass. If you were sorry then leave. Leave me to my own demons.'
She coughed slightly her mouth becoming dry. Are the barkeeps back yet? Anyone at all. Nope. So she will contiune to sit and try. To get the lady to leave.

Alex came out of the trance she was in from trying to stop Clay from killing that poor girl. She was forced out of his head, but how? Oh... That witch... "I was trying to help." She growled at the witch. Whatever. She didn't care about her opinion of her or even Clays opinion for that matter. He knows what I tried to do.

Whether he choses to apologize now was entirely up to him. Alex was done trying to help and understand him. He knows what I want, and he'll come talk to me when he's ready.

Alex turned on her heel and stormed back into the tavern and into the kitchen. Closing the door she was enraged. 'Who the hell did that witch think she was?! She has no business messing with me like that. She doesn't know me. Nor will she ever.'

If she poses a problem, ever, there will be no hesitation to call her brothers. Witch or not, they have their own magic and she will regret the day.

Leaning against the small frame of the kitchen door, she can still hear murmuring from outside and scattered conversations at the bar.

"Liz..." She whispered. What is she going to think when she finds out about this...? @Rusalka

Ixonia opened the book to write inside it. A willing pen popped up and stood at attention.
"As you wish. Pen, write: One unresponsive, rude lady met at The Tavern today. Will send a drink her way because of my intrusion on her own private demons which seem to be tormenting her. I only wish her well. Pen, stop, rest."

Ixonia walked back to where the bar was and stood next to Tic.

At first the suspension drove Clay insane, the inability to move, the trapment. It was everything he feared. Reason soon slowly came back to him with a wash of magic words and he seemed to slowly settle, the more he did the freer his body became. Eventually his feet crunched the dirt beneath him as he found total freedom.

His eyes were blank and empty. The witch had robbed him of emotion. Alex would pick up only static. But it had worked, everyone was safe.

He looked down upon his attacker.
"Be more careful." He said, his deep rusty voice flat and monotone. His eyes traveled over Alex's face as he looked towards the tavern doors, but they were void of any recognition.

"I must rest." His statement sought the approval of Valyna, her magic lingered heavily around his mind. It dulled his senses greatly and will, even more.
Rest was exactly what Clay needed. He would come back to himself slowly, digesting his emotions piece by piece.

Tic had been watching the events at the table he had delivered the drink to go on, it reminded him of zen addicts fighting over the last strip. Knowing better than to get involved he turned his attention back to the bar... only there was no one at the bar... Looking back to the scene in the bar he felt a pang of sympathy for the simple girl.

"Ya gotta do more than just move if ya want em to back down" he muttered to no one in particular.
@Aisling
All of a sudden the tension dropped and the saleswoman returned to him as if nothing had happened, odd thought she'd keep lighting that fuse until it blew. Then again not much in this tavern made sense, he supposed it was crowd it drew.

"Yeah, I'mm" he trailed off trying to remember where she had left him at, name that's right "Tic, lead the way" He jumped down from his seat and leaving the mostly empty bottle of whiskey on the counter.

Jet waves her hand at the lady. As e the voices died down once again drowned out by the loud tones of the rock playing in her ears. She was never the friendly type anymore. She couldn't trust anyone here. Maybe the man from eariler. But only slightly then. Laying her head on her arms she sighed trying to keep the blazing gaze out of her mind. She wouldn't mind the man from eariler coming back at all... At least then she wasn't alone.

Liz sighed deeply and stumbled to her feet. The alcohol was already taking its toll on her, making her feel woozy. She needed to lie down and chill for a bit, let the concoction of confusion and vodka run its course. Writing music wasn't as easy when she was drunk.

As she was shambling like a zombie towards the stairs, her head about to split open, a familiar blonde brushed past her in a forceful gait, nearly knocking Liz down.

"Alex?" She mumbled. She knew something was up with that chick, but what? "Alex hey!" Liz tried to get her attention but the woman was already gone, having vanished with the slam of a door offstage somewhere.

"Ugh! Just my fucking luck..." It was gonna be one of those days she guessed, just deciding to sit at the bar for now and wait. Those stairs were a bitch to climb anyways.

[retcon - the jumble in Clays head slowly sorting into sense]

Before Alex was ejected from the wild wolfs mind she stumbled across fearful regrets of a fading Clay.
He was fearful that he would act the way he did earlier, his small moment of aggression towards Alex replaying over again and again. It was swathed in guilt and self disappointment. It rolled into an anger that fought the dying battle against the pent up beast.

But that memory was only just the tip of the armoury of weapons to use against it.
He grabbed that one because it was fresh and relevant. Beneath it lay a hundred more all too painful to retrieve, drowned by booze and covered in violence and senseless sex, he hid them instead of facing them.

Alex felt the pattern and knew what Clay was going to do next. What he always did.
Runaway.

After the girl had gone and Alex had gone back inside her soft and kind words calmed Clay enough to get him back to normal or so she thought. He seemed like he was devoid of emotion completely. Valyna tried to get him to smile or laugh or even yell but there was nothing. "What the hell happened to you?" She snapped her fingers at him and nothing. She was really starting to worry. Then it hit her. "What the hell happened? What did she do to you?" She let him lead her to his room inside and she tucked him into his bed and she lay next to him for a while making sure he went to sleep.

Valyna went downstairs and went to the bar to look for Alex. She wanted to know what she had been doing in his head. She saw Liz at the kitchen door and asked her to get Alex.

Alex could hear voices both audible and inaudible thoughts. She couldn't turn it off after what happend. She new that Clay would leave after this. She didn't know when, but she knew it would be soon.

She could hear her name being called by Liz and being asked for by the witch. Valyna? She knew too much of her now, more than she would like to. She never wanted to know her name, but her mind was too open right now. She tried to close her mind to no avail.

'What was she doing in his head?' Alex heard Valynas thoughts. She didn't want to face her, or anyone for that matter. But she knew she wouldn't be safe anywhere without having a full freakout. Her telepathic powers could get dangerous if she got to riled up than normal.

'I was trying to help him!' Alex projected her thoughts into Valynas head. She would feel some pain, but not excruciating. Just like a small headache. 'I imagine you can understand the pain of wanting to help someone who needs it, I saw how you handled him, thank you. It was too hard to be there alone. I was searching for his human side, to bring it to the surface. I've done it before, but his primal side is too strong. Perhaps it is better to have a witch around. But be careful of who you accuse.'

Alex was too tired for much more mental activity, Clays mind once again took too much of a toll on her.

She quietly unlocked the door to the kitchen and left through the back door of the kitchen. She didn't want someone to be unable to get in after she left. She also didn't want t face the eyes of whoever might be outside the door.

Once she got outside she lit a cigarette and walked home. She'd come back later when her mind wasn't so clouded with everyone else's thoughts. One of the main reasons why she lived in the middle of almost nowhere. Hearing all of the thoughts of her neighbors day in a and day out would give her no sleep, and no thoughts to herself.

As she walked alone, she could no longer hear the thoughts of the people in the Tavern. "Finally." She turned to the Tavern. "But I'll be back soon."

Valyna went back upstairs to Clay's room and lay next to him in the crook of his arm and snuggled up to him. She was worried that whatever happened might be a breakdown. Maybe something inside of Clay snapped. One thing was for sure, she wasn't leaving him alone til she was positive that he was alright. She had come to care about him so quickly it kind of scared her.

The air was heavy that morning, it was going to rain. The winds picked up slightly and chilled the air. Valyna reached over and closed the window. She was cold so she pulled Clay's arms around her to keep her warm.

She couldn't stop playing it in her mind over and over. Since Valyna only blocked Alex and not forcibly yanked her out of his mind Clay shouldn't be having any of this weirdness. Neither what her magic nor Alex's intrusion should have left this kind of residual behavior. Valyna stopped obsessing and realized something. She didn't really know him, she just met him so how did she know whether or not he was really messed up before this happened. She had to guess that he must have been. She thought to herself 'Aren't we all?"

As Ixonia led Tic out of the tavern, she spoke gently

“I simply dread going outside at the moment…… Might as well as go and get it over with. I am not in a mood for a fight but I want to show you my ship, The Majestic Lightening. Xineoph is my ship’s Figure Head."

Once outside she headed straight to her ship with a smile.

"This ship is specially built for me by a student of great talent. The wood is Enchanted Sequoia. This wood is naturally resistant to insects, mold, fungus and barnacles. The Enchantment is what made the wood lighter than air.
You might have noticed that there is not a gang plank anywhere which means that you must levitate or teleport there. However, only those who are given a special necklace to allow boarding for The Enchantment has a Virtual Shield that keeps those who do not have a Boarding Charm necklace. Only my Boarding Charm necklace will allow an Outsider to board with her. Before you even ask, yes, this is a very expensive boat and has to go in for Preventive Maintenance Work or PMW on a regular basis. “ Ixonia spoke as she gazed up at her Pride and Joy then to Tic. She held out her hand to Tic.
“You will need to take my hand so that I can transport you up there.”

There where a lot of words that could describe Tic's current state as he looked upon the glorious ship, Dumbfounded, Confused and Awestruck. Why was it made out of wood, surly you could enchant steel the same way and what the hell kind of creature was the figurehead suppose to be? Still the ships design and complexity had robbed him of speech, rather than speak Tic placed his hand in hers.

The loud rumbling of an old clacking Harley Davidson motor tore to life, cutting through the serene peaceful silence of the coming morning.
As the first rays of sunlight peered over the hill they saw Clay loading his duffle bag onto an old dusty bike and checking over the relic.

Moments ago he had awoken with a splitting headache, poor recollection of the night and a strange girl wrapped in his arm. Nothing unusual there, but what he was missing was the overpowering residue of whiskey on his breath, that meant things weren't normal.

When it came to matters of the wolf Clay had learned to switch off, a defence or coping mechanism if you will. For they were different people, he couldn't deal with the things it had done, he didn't even want to know.
He had spent over half his life running from it, drinking fighting and fucking his senses into oblivion just to hide from those blurry memories.
Like a multi hooked fishing line, when one comes to surface there are always more and deeper ones to follow.

Clay could never risk facing them or the carnage he caused so he was quick to do the only thing he knew how to, run.
Run somewhere new where there was no one or anything to remind him of the things he didn't want to remember.

With plenty of practise, Clay had gathered his things and silently left the room.
Now Clay sat on the rumbling leather seat of the bike and twisted back the throttle, for a moment the bike let out a fierce roar that filled him with a nostalgic excitement, but it was suddenly cut short by a loud 'clack' as the bike stalled.
Clay cursed angrily at it.
