[Rose]

Taking the coffee she turned around and leaned her back against the bar. "Hi, I'm Laura." she said to Barrett. Then took a sip of coffee.

Roy looked at Ethelsen. "I got caught in a damned store, glad this place has a fireplac." he said somewhat awkwardly.

Keenan rolled her eyes a him, but chuckled.

[Thorned Hammer]

"Caught in a storm? You certainly look like it". Ethelsen said with a blink, pulling her legs up to sit with them crossed and looking to the fire.

" Hi Laura, I'm Barrett.". Barrett said in way of introduction, purposefully turning to the side and resting an elbow on the counter so his back was to Scout and Keenan.

"Oooooh, bar's talking to a girl!"

Keenan grinned. "Heeeeeey Barrett!" She called teasingly.

Barrett didn't look back but elbowed Keenan sharply in the ribs while keeping a pleasant smile on his face.

She laughed at him and rubbed her side.

[Rose]

Laura grinned at the reaction of his friends. She attempted to hide her amusement by taking another drink of coffee. "so what do you do?" she asked. Her eyes resting on him playfully.

"I'm a sniper,". Barrett said with a smug expression, " in Outlier squadron 15"

Keenan had to stop herself from laughing at Barrett's smug tone.

Edited: Scout, snickering leaned across the bar to speak directly to Laura. "Actually, he's just my bitch." He patted Barrett on the head while the embarrassed Sniper sighed, turning a bit red before shrugging Scout off.
"Oh shut up, you wish Captain Patches."

"I dunno about that, James--Barrett's got a mind of his own. I think I'm your only bitch now." Keenan laughed.

[Thorned Hammer]

"YEah, but I cant tell you what to do...You'll just hit me" Scout pointed out, falling back into a seat between Keenan and Barrett. Barrett snickered at this, looking back at the two.
"Hah, you're whipped my dear friend."

"I don't always hit you. Somentimes I do what you want." Keenan replied defensively.

[Thorned Hammer]

"Hah, when it involves shooting or racing. Or flying. Or using the radio. But I asked you to bring me a sandwhich and you threw one at me." scout sniffed, taking Barrett's drink again.

"Oh come on, I was on shark week!" Keenan sighed exasperatedly.

[Thorned Hammer]

Scout frowned, before making an 'Oh' face of understanding and turning a bit red. Clearing his throat awkwardly he turned to the glass and finished off it's dregs.

"Oh grow up," she rolled her eyes at him and chuckled.

Scout just mumbled into his glass before setting it down and slipping a hand under the bar. A second later he had a bottle of expensive looking scotch in his hand and had filled up his glass. He settle the bottle down with a clink next to it, swiped the glass up, and took a healthy sip from it.

Laura chuckled. He and his friends seemed close, almost like a mismatched family of sorts. She admired that. "A sniper huh? Well that's an important job, people's lives are in your hands. Especially those of your comrades." she said then shot a look at the others.

The door to the bar opened once more, and in walked a rather shady looking character, and the twins looked over at him curiously.

The shady guy, whose name was Lucien, casually nodded to the two flameheads and leaned over the bar. "Busy place," he said, looking around. After a moment, he turned to the twins again. "I'll take a Surili Brothers." He said. The two gave him a quizzical look. Neither of them knew what that was. Lucien gestured to a dark red wine bottle. "It's that one." He said.

After having aquired his drink, he left the bar without so much as a glance to the others that were hanging around there and went and sat in some dark corner of the bar, which was strategically advantageous for observing the whole room.
