"Hmm? Oh! I don't eat candy... my mom told me that is bad for your teeth but it is nice to meet you Veronica." she smiled at the girl before looking at the fire then suddenly.

Alyssa rose an eyebrow to see Matthew making his way over to her, sitting down next to her. His compliment made her cheek's turn slightly pink but she looked away so he wouldn't see. "Hah.. Thanks but I'm kind of used to it already. You know, being alone and all that."

"Here you go." said Valencia afther she found an apple one and let it fly to wards Link. She turned back to Alyssa. "But you are on camp now and one piece of candy is not that bad." Valencia smiled friendly at her. She looked at her watch.It's already 5 minutes afthere the bell rang. The others could be here at anytime soon she thought and looked around for a bit to see if anyone was coming near them.

*Link took a lollipop and with a deep breath holds the candy near his mouth. here we go Before he could stop it, his mouth opens revealing a full double row of shark teeth that chop down on the candy causing shards of sugar to go everywhere. Carp With that he squeezes his eyes shut fear rolling off of him a bit since he knew that the humans might react badly*

Matthew grinned widely then looked at the fire. He looked straight up when Link had bit into the candy and the candy shards flew everywhere. "What the?!?" and with that he instinctively put an arm around Alyssa in a rather poor attempt to protect her from the sticky shards flying everywhere.

"Hah... Yeah! You are right. One piece of candy won't do nothing and I know Matthew but I was so used to it back then, that I don't mind being alone.."

Alyssa smile at him, extending her hand to reach out for the candy but was stopped by noticing the candy splitting out everywhere and Matthew wrapped his arm around her to protect her. Alyssa's cheek slowly started to grow pink, looking towards Matthew with her cheeks fully exposed, yes she was blushing, "Thanks...." she said removing his hand from her around her, smiling at Matthew. "But, I don't need protection... I can take care of myself.." she said, turning her head to stare at the fire.

Aki walked through the woods for a while until he made it back to the camp. Once he was in the main camp area he walked over to the firepit. As he walked up he saw there were others there already. He walked up in time to see his roommate bite into something with what looked like shark teeth. He stopped where he was slightly stunned. He walked up and sat next to Link and said "Hi I'm Aki nice to meet all of you." He then said mostly to Link "I'm your roommate it seems. But I'm curious what is your power?"

*Link slowly opens an eye still nervous of the others gather around him.* "uhm...compulsion or persuasion of women or men who like men" *Looks genuinely afraid of what those gathered around him will think and what they will do. His eyes shut again and he stands tensed, as if ready to be stoned*

Alyssa grabbed the lollipop from Valencia when Link bite in to his lollipop. Valencia turned back to him and used her telekinesis to stop all of the flying pices that came from his lollipop. She let them fall on the ground and started to laugh. Aki came to wards the fire pit it seems that he was Links room mate. Valencia looked at him and greeds him. Aki asked Link what his power was and his power surprised her a little. "So you can let pretty much every one like you? Then you probably won't have to be alone most of the time. But it's great! I bet you're going to make lots of friends here." and Valencia smiled at him.

She turned to Alyssa. "Most of the campers here are used at being alone, because of their power. So you are not the only one."

*Link blinks, this was definitely not the reaction he expected. He relaxes relieved that he isn't going to get killed. A small smile appears on his lips showing normal human teeth.* "thank you"

"You're welcome. I mean we're all freaks here. No offence!" Matthew quickly added the last part to avoid getting in trouble with the others.

"We welcome you to camp again. We are your counselors. We welcome questions, comments, and suggestions. Usully we start with power development. This is to help you develope and control your power. Today we would like to star with an intro and demonstration." The counselors explained. "We can heal. We will use this skill as needed."

Valencia jumped up when she heard the voices of the counselors out of no where and looked around to see where theybare. The counselors where standing behind her so she turned around and greeds them.

"And Matthew you are right with that." she said it with a smile. Valencia looked back to the counselors. "Not everyone is here yet but what are you going to do with the demonstration? Show us your power or...?" she asked out of curiositie.

Alyssa smiled at Matthew, blushing slightly as she stared at the ground. Now, listening to other voices about giving an intro and demonstrating their powers. Got her a bit nervous.. Alyssa turned her head towards Matthew, poking his arm twice. "It's really not a good idea for me to demonstrate my powers..."

Matthew looked down at Alyssa and tilted his head, he whispered back to her. "Why?" He was genuinely curious as to why it would be a bad idea for her to show what she could do.

Alyssa got closer to him, whispering. "Because I cannot control it... I can manipulate the weather. What if I cause some snow storm or something..?" She asked while staring i to his eyes. Her voice got very serious and there was a bit of nervous there too!

@Princeofhearts Matthew looked down at her and blinked. "Maybe we won't have to show?" He smiled slightly, trying to reassure her.

*Link, having just relaxed tenses up again. Telling other teens about himself somewhat was one thing, but showing them the compulsion part was a completely different aspect. He really hopes he either gets skipped over or goes last, after all he would have to have a willing female student volunteer for him to use his gift upon her.*

Noah raises his hand to the counselors. "I'll go first." He rose from his seat on the bench and walked up to in front of the counselors to face the rest of the campers. Better to get this out of the way quickly I suppose.
