*Malcolm shrugs and sits in a chair across from the couch looking somewhat lonely* " I don't have much reason to get out so I normally don't unless I'm going to practice my spells... which is what I do most of the time" *probably why he's so good at his powers... pretty much all he does is the library and practicing*

Taking in mind what Malcolm does most of his time, Maxi nodded, staring at him while waving his fingers, allowing sparks to travel between his fingers. "Ah Ok....that shit sounds boring dude. Look...how about this...since we are going to be partners and team up every now and then, we need to hang out. You know...go get into something fun, look for girls, get something to eat, help some poor bastard who is being harassed by a hunter...just get out and get some air man." feeling that that's what the guy needed.

*Malcolm looks awkward but nods maybe he does need to get out* "Okay... I can spare a couple of hours a day I guess *He really really doesn't get out much preferring to stay with the library* I don't even own anything besides suits... but i do need to get out more... im going to end up getting myself killed

Maxi chuckled by the face expression Malcolm was making. "Don't worry dude, you'll be fine. If we run into trouble, we can get out of it by working together...." He claimed. Maxi just hoped Malcolm can handle himself if they were to face the real deal. it's one thing to train and practice but if he runs into a very skilled hunter or Wizard who's a hunter, how will he handle himself. he had yet to see what this guy was really capable of in a real life threatening situation.

*Malcolm nods looking somewhat relieved and also anxious then he notices the time and stifles a yawn* "Alright... I am going to sleep" *Probably phrased awkward but the guy isn't used to having people in his house and he walks toward his room taking off the suit jacket revealing a collared shirt that shows muscles that are normally hidden by the jacket* "We can talk more in the morning" *He says as he enters his room and turns his green eyes eerily glowing somewhat before he lightly closes the door*

Maxi gave Malcolm a salute when he mentioned that he was getting sleepy and would talk to him in the morning. Maxi was sleepy but since he was stoked that someone actually agreed to team with him, the news boosted him up to want to have a full on conversation in to getting to know his new teammate. Lavender was with Salem while she cuddled him, sleeping soundly. Maxi fluffed his pillow and looked at the ceiling for a little while just thinking about all that they could get into. Oh! but he still needed to get Lavender to the refuge spot that he knew but they'd have to hash the plans in the morning as he eventually fell asleep.

THE NEXT DAY

With the sun hitting his face, Maxi opened an eye, groaning like a child who didn't want to get up for school. Laying there for a few moments and blinking wildly until his eyes came to accustom to the light, Maxi sat up and yawned, giving himself a little stretch. Maxi stood, stretching again and scratching his stomach, looking around before needing to wake Lavender....if she wasn't already awake.

Maxi went to go and check on Lavender to get her ready and to join Malcolm to start their new day off.

Bastian started his morning after his recuperation from yesterday, with a morning ritual of calisthenics to get his morning right. He was going to start a new day in searching his continual pursuit of either Cain or any other Witch or Wizard he runs into.

Shortly after workout, Bastian went to gather and replenish his weaponry so to be at the ready to handle anything that was to come his way this time round.

*Salem gently gets out of lavender's grip and leaps down leaving the room and trotting into Malcolm's room*

*Malcolm stretches waking up his pajamas consist of sweat pants his upper torso bare showing faint scaring from practices he gets out of bed and opens the door walking out and heading to the kitchen*

Walking towards the room Lavender was sleeping in, Maxi caught a glimpse of Salem walking out the room as he stared at the familiar "I assume you're going to get your partner up?" he asked the cat while passing by it to go and wake lavender. The girl was just sitting up after she felt Salem get lose from her grip. She jumped out of bed so she could go to the bathroom and caught the sight of Maxi. "Ah ok so you're already up...saves me the trouble." he said as Lavender nodded, rubbing her eyes while looking for the bathroom. Maxi followed to go and ask Malcolm where the bathroom was located.

*Malcom appears to be making eggs and a steak. which probably looks odd to anyone besides him but the steak isn't for the humans in the house.* "Bathroom is over there" *Points to a door across from the two rooms* "And I have no idea how the two of you like your eggs so I'm just making scrambled for everyone"

*Salem walks back out of Malcolm's room leaps up onto a stool and sits waiting for breakfast*

Smelling breakfast cooking, the two walked towards the kitchen and Lavender ran to the bathroom when told where it was as Maxi came to look at what was being cooked by Malcolm "Scrambled is fine but usually I like mine sunnyside up." smiling and stretching again to pop his back "So...what would you like to do first once we get outside?"

*Malcolm finishes up the eggs and plates them putting another steak onto the stove top* "Hm I don't know... ill leave it up to you to come up with something" *He gives a small smile and looks at Salem who is eyes the steaks* "Patience... you know you need a lot of food"

*Salem twitches his tail and keeps eyeing the steaks* "I still don't know why yu don't let me have them raw" *Malcolm simply sighs at the cat*

Maxi nodded "Well first things first, I need to get that girl to safety so that I don't have to worry too much about her, once we get her to a connection of mine." Lavender, came in shortly after coming out of the bathroom and went to check what being cooked.

Maxi looked at the girl as she was confused as to what she was looking at. Maxi raised an eyebrow "What's wrong?" lavender looked up Where's the cereal?

*Malcolm finishes the steak and with a small smile tosses both steaks something he does with salem every morning. Salem leaps into the air going from cat to Lion catching the steaks as he lands on the floor gnawing on the large steaks that were cooked for him his large black self majestic to say the least. Malcolm then looks at the girl with a raised eyebrow* "I don't have any cereal... the protein in the eggs is good for you though" *Salem is making happy lion noises as he eats the steaks*

Lavender was shocked to see how Salem changed sizes when being fed such protein. Maxi have heard about many Witches and Wizards having familiars but never gained one of his own just wondering how much more powerful he'd be if he actually did find a familiar. He was surprised as well that abilities Salem had as he smirked and listened to Malcolm explain to Lavender the benefits of having eggs over cereal. Maxi stepped in to assist "Yeah little one, he's right. Come...each up, we have a long day today."

Lavender almost looked disappointed and nodded Okaaay... Slowly walking over to wait for her eggs.

Maxi turned back to Malcolm "Do you have a car?"

*Malcolm shakes his head* "I do not. Usually i just walk where ever i need to go." *He gives a small shrug and starts eating his eggs*

*Salem finishes his steaks and becomes his cat form again the purple collar in place as he leaps back onto the counter top* "He's also extremely cheap." *Salem gets a glare from Malcolm and he sticks his cat tongue to at the witch*

Lavender soon started to eat as Maxi looked a little disappointed but went back to his normal mood "That's a bummer...would've made things easier. And...if he's cheap...that's ok...just means I should not get my hopes up on asking for money." Giving a sly grin.

Maxi started eating and upon finishing, placed the dish into the sink. Lavender was still eating thought. "well we can take the subway the rest of the way then."

*Malcolm nods and finishes eating* "Ill go get ready really quickly" *He places his dish in the sink does a hand motion and a sponge starts scrubbing the dishes water turning on every once in awhile as he heads into his room*

*Salem sighs* "Maybe he'll wear something other then a suit today" *He gives a small yawn and crawls down onto a chair and sits in it*

Maxi looked down at Salem "A suit really wouldn't be necessary but hey....whatever floats his boat." As he watched lavenger still eating and helped her by chowing down what she didn't eat. She gave Maxi a glare since she was not done eating but after the food was gone, Maxi took the plate and placed it in the sink while Lavender walked back over to Salem and lifted him up in her arms again.

The two waited for Malcolm until he was ready.

*Salem lets this happen again*

*Malcolm walks out wearing a collared button up shirt and slacks along with dress shoes his sleeves rolled up* "Alright. Where are we headed?" *Small smile toward the cat in Lavender's arms* "He can walk"

Looking at what Malcolm was wearing, Maxi headed to the front "We will start off by taking the subway into the south side of town. I have to drop the girl off to someone I know and then we can do whatever afterwards." maxi mentioned of what he had planned.

Lavender heard what Malcolm said but she was still wanting to hold him. Maxi looked over "I don't know...you might lose your familiar to her." Seeing how attached she is to him "Little one, you can put him down." Lavender placed Salem back down.
